APPY’S HEARTFELT GOODBYE

I’ve been thinking about this for a little bit anddd I’ve decided to leave self ship tumblr 😔 I’m not deleting this blog though because I like keeping an archive so people can go back through my posts 🥰 Love you all and thank you everyone so much for the support over the near year I’ve had this blog for! I’ve had a great time and I’ve made some great friends here :)

More explanation under the cut, but TLDR it’s nobody’s fault, I just realized it’s not for me!

Hmm this is gonna be more of a ramble than anything else, but first off I don’t really like gushing about my own ships ?? Answering ask games is fun but I get so shy and nervous posting anything publicly, I’m shy even gushing to close friends 😭 I could just never get up the nerve to post anything about my ships, even just making tags for them on my carrd gave me anxiety :’3

ALSO I’m just so slow asf on tumblr skljdsLKJ I just let asks sit forever 👀 I feel so bad knowing people like my blog and going months without posting anything  😭 I wanna make more of my own “imagine your f/o _____” posts but I get all in my head about it and can hardly ever get up the courage to post em

god and The DiscourseTM I know I don’t personally talk about The DiscourseTM on here but I see it everywhere and it gets to me >:T I hate seeing people fight over something that should be fun 😭 That’s all I’ll say on that, I can and have gone off way too hard about it to people :’) Do me a favor and be kind to your fellow self shippers ok? Follow only the people you’re comfortable following and NEVER let people push your boundaries, but please be kind to people who haven’t done anything to warrant any hate 😭 Ok this is me getting off my soapbox: 🚶‍♀️

BUT overall! this just isn’t the right community for me, I love self shipping and I’m DEFINITELY not planning on stopping any time soon, but after trying out being a public blog for a while (and one with a decent chunk of followers at that !! thanks again everyone for your support I love you all :’0) I just realized that I do better on my own with it , the pressure of people seeing my ships and having to worry about sharing and self ship etiquette and all that stuff is just too much for one little apple :’3 

I wouldn’t trade the memories I made here for the world ! But it’s gotten to a point where it’s more of a negative than a positive for me :’3 Thank you everyone so much and remember that your f/os love you to death!! ❤

If anyone wants my discord I’m happy to give it out, and since I’m not deleting this blog I’m gonna keep my ask box open for the heck of it 😊 Send your love hate questions comments concerns if ya’d like!

The Ceremony

Lance squirmed at the front of the castle ballroom, his formal military uniform already becoming super hard to breathe in.

Friends from all over and from different dimensions filed in and took their appropriate seat. Some special guests included were Lion and her gf, Katie Holt, Anya and Nat and their husband Darrell and the OTHER Nat and Avok.

Keith noticed this and came to his best friend’s side. “You alright?” he asked. Lance sighed, relieving some nerves and smiled. “I’m fine.” He said. Keith put a hand on his shoulder. “Hey, you don’t have to be so nervous, she’s not gonna run away.”

Lance looked directly into Keith’s eyes. “I’m not worried about that. You do realize we are already married right?” He looked down at the ground. “I’m worried that something will prevent us from having our special day, like last time.”

Keith nodded. “Is that why you two ran?” he asked. Lance looked up at him. “Of course. We wanted to spend our special day with you guys, we really did, but when Nanny showed up with those two marshalls from the Garrison, I knew it wasn’t good. They were threatening to arrest her on an obscure love obstruction charge, Keith, I just couldn’t let that happen!” His voice rose in anger the more he spoke.

Keith pulled him in for a rare hug. “I know, and I took care of it. Relax. All 4 of us have our weapons at the ready if need be. Today’s about you.”

Lance sniffled as they both parted. He wiped his eyes. “Thanks, Keith. You’re the bestest friend I could ever ask for.” Keith smiled at him.

At that moment, the doors to the hall finally opened as Lance saw the woman of his dreams. She had on a different dress than the one she wore last time, yet somehow she looked even more beautiful.

Lance’s tears failed to keep in his eyes as he saw her walk down toward him, her eyes never leaving his.

When she got to him, she took his hand. Lance just simply stared down at her hand in utter shock and disbelief. This time, they were going to do it right.

Rachel’s tears were threatening to leave her face as she stared up at her husband. She was so entranced and so in the moment, that Ruby had to come and take her bouquet from her.

“Dearly beloved,” the Space Marshall chaplain said. “We are gather here today to witness the beautiful union of these two people.”

Lance and Rachel pretty much tuned out the officer as they just stared at each other in pure bliss. Lance reached over and wiped away a couple of happy tears that Rachel was shedding.

“And now you may say your vows.”

Lance went first.

“Rachel McClain, the moment I saw you, I knew that you were my future. I see our past, our present, and our future in your eyes and our love in your lips. I’ve traveled from afar and have met many people, who have never even measured up to how wonderful you truly are. Rachel, my dear bride, I renew my vows to you on this day to love you and only you, even when it’s hard, and to be next to you until the day I leave this known world. You’ll be my beautiful bride now today and always.”

Lance squeezed her hands as he finished.

Rachel then responded.

“Lieutenant Commander Lance Charles McClain, I vow to you today (again) to love and to cherish you. To hold and to love you, to be yours and no one else’s until the end of time. I vow that I will continue to love you through the fights, the tears, and the laughs, and to hold you even when I’m angry with you. I vow to you that I’ll continue to stay by your side, be slow to anger but quick to praise, and lastly, I vow that I will take your heart with me to the grave.”

She squeezed Lance’s hand back.

“And now for the rings.”

The audience chuckled as Lance and Rachel took off the rings they were already wearing and gave it to each other for the other to put back on.

“Lieutenant Commander Lance McClain, do you take Rachel to be your lawfully wedded wife, to love and to protect her, be with her, through richer or poorer, through sickness and in health, and forsake all others and keep only unto her, for as long as you both shall live?”

Lance slipped on the ring early. “I do.” He muttered dreamily.

“And Rachel McClain, do you take Lieutenant commander Lance McClain to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love and to protect him, be with him, through richer or poorer, through sickness and in health, and forsake all others and keep only unto him, for as long as you both shall live?”

Rachel sniffled. “I do.” She said, her voice cracking. She slipped on his ring.

The sky chaplain smiled. “By the power vested in me by the Galaxy Garrison, the Galaxy Alliance, and the Planet of Arus, I now re-pronounce you officially and legally, Lieutenant Commander and wife. You may kiss your bride, Lieutenant.”

The entire ballroom cheered as Lance gave Rachel a searing kiss, dipping her back. She giggled in his mouth as he did so. CJ’s cheering and clapping was especially loud.

“I now present to you, Lieutenant Commander and Mrs. Lance Charles McClain.” The chaplain said.

“Atten, hut!” Keith called out to the others. They matched to the sides and stood up straight. Lance saluted them and his fellow officers saluted him back.

And the crowd cheered once more as they went through the Voltron Force, and exited the ballroom, thrilled and relieved that nothing went wrong this time.

My most recent crush/f/o is Deidara but he's TECHNICALLY an old crush because I was into Naruto in 2014 huehue so my most recent NEW crush is uhhh.... OH probably Ryota from Danganronpa 3 ! I thought he was cute when I first watched it but that was where it ended, now i reeeeally like him 👉👈

I answered this in the last ask but juuuuust for you I'll pick another one~ ❤ I don't have a lot of shame for a lot of things, but I might maybe have a little bit of a weird messed up crush on Strade from a game that I'm NOT gonna say the name of and I'm gonna encourage people to not look up eheheh explore at your own risk;;; I played it because I was in a server that was like "ANY talk of this game is banned from this server because its content is horrible and disgusting" and I was, of course, immediately like "OHOHO WHATS THIS" and downloaded it. ANDDDD I ended up liking it a BIT more than I wanted to OOPSIES

8. Who are you crushing on just because they’re pretty?

Oh I have MANY but Illumi from Hunter x Hunter for SURE, literally the only reason he's on my list is because he's pretty;; I can barely even come up with a dating scenario for him because he's such an emotionless asshole sdlksdjkldjlsjkl

I'd also say Deidara but he's not JUST pretty hehe he's ALSO a very lovable shithead ❤ There's a lottt of people I could throw in this list that are just crushes, but I'm keeping it to f/os unless someone asks this question again because I'll crush on ANY pretty anime boy i s2g-

11. If you put all your fictional crushes in a battle royale together, who would win?

OK I'VE THOUGHT ABOUT THIS BEFORE-

All the humans without powers are out immediately, which leaves my HxH f/os, my Naruto f/os, my robot f/os and Alastor, who's his own category (Sorry Pearl you're out too, she'd last longer than the humans but crushing a rock isn't that hard either 😭). Gaara would beat out Kite and Kurapika so they're out too, he'd also be able to crush the robots SORRY GUYSSSS;; Illumi mostly fights using other people and in the case of a battle royale with all my f/os there's only like .... 12 bodies he could manipulate, so he's out too. Gaara and Deidara fought in canon and Deidara won, but that's mostly because he had the upper hand in that situation and I THINK in a more even battle Gaara would win, so there's that. SO it comes down to Gaara and Alastor, and that COMPLETELY depends on whether Alastor's powers work outside of Hell. Which I'm not sure of 👀 So it's either Gaara or Alastor cast ya votes!
