Demetrius suddenly felt his grip on the phone tighten at the words. Not because he's not used to his partner's antics, but because he's on a call with his father. Out of all the times you could have chosen, this was it?

You on the other side just tried to scare your uptight boyfriend a little with no ill intents. Looking to his left there was also his little brother, Damian next to him to your terrible luck.

Good to say that the three of you were quietly staring at each other for quite a while, only interrupted by Demetrius's calm voice, excusing himself from the call and hanging up.

In summary, Demetrius will not be doing any phone calls with you in his vicnity for quite a long time. And Damian will be looking at you in the hallways as if you just threatened his whole family. (With good time)

How? Demetrius simply thought that you were flirting with him.

Is he a victim of pink shades? You're not sure, but something is definitely not right with that boy. However on a second look if he puts the hair gel away and lets his wavy/curly hair breath... and he's also the son of a chairman and a nerd. Sounds like a high-school experiment you certainly don't want to be left out of.

This is canon, cuz from experience i do the same (my grandma always has a little heart attack when i refer to our mum like she ain't there anymore)

Anya: When my birth Mama died, it made me feel really sad. Demetrius: Like my father. I can't remember how I felt about his death though. Damian: He's still alive?? Demetrius: Ah right. I'd forgotten.

New hc just dropped: Demetrius likes to pretend his father is dead. He only talks about him in past tense. Partially due to having to dicuss his father in a past context for school but also because he is just ready for that man to kick the bucket. It makes Damian have a panicked attack every time he talks about his dad like he is dead. But he is prepare for that faithful day.

He already has a suit picked out and an eulogy prepared. He regularly reminds his father to update his will because "you never know". He scouts out potential options for his mother. Like he has a folder with potential male suitors depending on what she is looking for in the case of his father's death. The only reason he's so invested in father's company is because he knows he will have to take over for him shortly. He has a therapist lined up for Damian because he obviously will not handle the timely and evitable death of their father.

Melinda (like any mother) sometimes dramatically sits her boys down to tell them random information and every time Demetrius just if his dad is dead (much to the distress of Damian).

It's to the point where she has to explicitly state from the jump that he is not dead. One time she forgot because she was so flustered about the situation (one of the limos were being serviced so obviously it called for a family meeting with a councilor) which caused Damian to have a mental breakdown because clearly if she didn't clarify he was not dead then that means he is dead.

Now there is a stipulation that every announcement must be preceded with a confirmation that Donovan is indeed not dead. Eventually this new tradition gets back to him and he is very very confused.

Demetrius knew very well that accepting someone into his life would mean accept the person's flaws and strenghts. However having to deal with his s/o's special vocabulary was indeed an mind opening experience,(brain rotting) how he likes to call it.

Demetrius was used to following his strict schedule even on holiday's, for some it wasn't a surprise anymore. However what was a surprise was Damian's supposed determination? to write his homework perfectly. It's been over five minutes of Demetrius's listening to his brother writing and paper tearing sounds from behind the door.

Should he help? Was his little brother THAT helpless with his homework?

As an normal older sibling (their sibling realitionship wasn't normal at all), Demetrius decided to open the door of his brother's room and prephars offer him some advice as the more experienced one here.

Unfortunately Demetrius's lack of knocking on his brother's door and sudden barging in Damian let out a shriek in rather a pretty high tone and quickly covered his writing so his older brother couldn't see.

A pause of a quiet moment.

"Is your homework troubling you so greatly?"

Demetrius picked up one of the crumpled papers.

"Don't read that!"

"Isn't this rather vastefull?"

The older one said in calm tone contrast to the younger's panick.

Dear Anya,

Thank you for your letter and peanuts. I still don't understand your obsession with a peasant food like peanuts but-

Was all this crumpled paper around the room an error letters.

Demetrius walked next Damian's seat and looked at his currently scribbled letter.

"You're terrible in this."

"Huh? So what, we never learned anything like this in school! Don't act as if you ever wrote a successful love letter."

Damian paused and then quickly panicked.

"Not like this is one! A love letter! This uhhh... is just an polite reply to the one i received!"

Demetrius blinked.

"Are you planning to reply to all the letters you will get?"

That made Damian drench in cold sweat now.

"Shut...shut up, just because you got a girlfriend by some magical luck doesn't mean you have to wipe it in my face..."

Another blink.

"I haven't mentioned a single time today."

"Whatever, so... will you help me?"

This was even worse than asking his brother to help with homework, does that mean he will reject him like always?

"You got no rizz Damian."

On that Damian's jaw went slack. Were his ears deceiving him? No no no, this could not be his older brother, the genius prodigy who didn't blink a single time at family dinner.

"What did you say?"

"Nothing."

"But-"

"Nothing."

A pause.

"What did you wait to ask again?"

Damian was still in trance from before not being able to form a proper reply till realizing the question. Forget that rizz, this was a once in life time situation!"

"So umm... how did you get s/o name to date you?"

"What the hell bossman?!" Could onky be heard muffled from distance.

"Just so you know stubby legs, I'm just politely returning the favor since you gave me a Valentine in advance."

Though it was a good idea for her next mission.

Damian's heart stopped and thousand thoughts occupied his mind. Really? But his name was in the letter... he was 100% sure it was. His face got progressively red.

"Uh, whatever as if i care about Valentine's."

Damian turned away ready to leave.

"Uhh well... did you know that sharks have no bones?"

He was meet with quiet.

What the hell? He knew his brother was lying! There is no way this would work, why did he said that?!

(Demetrius told Damian the exact sentence he used to make a conversation with his s/o before confessing. However he expected Damian to understand that he should use some interesting fact about his crushes interest, not repeat exactly what he said.)

L - Love (how do they show you they love you? What’s their love language?)

At first Demetrius will be trying to show you his love in a lot of ways, for example he heard that gift giving makes girls happy from one of his classmates. So the next morning you will have flowers in your doorstep (expect they will be in pot amd not cut, because why would he give you dead flowers?)

He's the type of guy to give your mum an microwave for Christmas, because he noticed that yours is not working while visiting.

M - Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

He has a strict schedule and wakes up early, so if you are (like me) sleeping longer (or till 11 am) he simply leaves the room and starts his day without you. But if you will ask him to stay in the morning with you sometimes he has no problem with it. Im the start he got bored quickly, so he started to leave some books on his nightstand to read in the mornings.

Also when you wake up with messy hair and droll on your lips he doesn't really mind. In fact he doesn't mind any natural body sounds or projections. Like farts or something. He couldn't care less, you're getting a smooch even with a dried droll on your mouth.

N - Nightmare (what is their worst fear?)

You leaving him, even worse rejecting him in an advanced state of your realitionship, after being married. Demetrius didn't think he would be a bad husband, but after dating you he tends to get insecure sometimes since he started acknowledge couples and people around him more.

Just don't leave him since you are the only person he has.

O - Obvious (How obvious do they make it that they like you?)

People around you wouldn't notice even after marriage I fear. He got trained like some freaking soldier by his father I fear so in public he almost acts like you're a stranger.

But in private he's definitely glued to you. Don't even dare to be on your phone or shift your attention on something, even worse someone else. He's gonna be silently judging you. You talk a lot about future together so you know he's taking this very seriously.

P - Pet Names (what do they like to call you?)

M sorry, but he will just copy what he heard from his parents like Dear. But it might expand into My love, my future wife.

P - Patience (how easily do they get angry?)

Demetrius was learned to not show emotions so he's sometimes confused by them, but he would never scream at you or be physically aggressive. He might use stern voice sometimes but that's all.

Overall he's very patient and if he gets rarely annoyed he might go quiet or end your meeting/date whatever you're doing.

Q - Quiet (How are the calm, quiet moments with them?)

I think the only noise he doesn't mind is your babling. He loves quiet sincere moments with you.

He wouldn't purposely keep secrets, but more tries to protect you from his family problems. Eventually might come to you as a lost puppy and rattle through all his problems.

Gets protective very easily and doesn't mind verbally arguing for you. Will not take any disrespect on the future Donovan lady.

T - Time (how long did it take you to get together?)

Either 3 weeks or 3 months, don't ask.

U - Upset (how do they act when you’re upset?)

Quietly waits for you to calm down or come to him. Will not interfere if it's not a very long time.

V - Vanity (how concerned are they with their looks?)

He knows he isn't nor modem nor unattractive. He seems himself as an average looking gentleman.

Anyways, in terms of for your love he would probably have to start with an disagreement with his father. There are two options

Either Donovan couldn't care less and only cares about if you are able to birth children.

Or he will not accept you if you're not noble and trained enough. Definitely would prefer if you obeyed instead of being a brat.

Would fight for you, but wouldn't sacrifice his whole family's legacy for it.

X - X-Ray (how well are they able to read you?)

At the start he is going to be a lot confused, but later in the realitionship he will be reading you like an open book.

Y - Yearn (What do they do when they miss you?)

A lot, it geniuly starts bothering him how much he starts being dependent on you.

Z- Zzz (How do they act when they get sleepy? How is it sleeping in the same bed?)

Sleeps like those dead people in coffin. Later tries to imitate your sleeping habits and realizes his sleeping wasn't the most comfortable before. Doesn't really cuddle while sleeping but will hold your hand.

If he gets sleepy you won't figure it out till he tells you. He always looks like he fights sleep.

A - Attention (how much attention do they want in the relationship?)

Definitely no overly loud or big affection in the public. But he secretly keeps eye on you no matter what he's doing. He's studying while you're hanging around his room? He's keeping eye on you to make sure you aren't too bored. You pass each other in the canteen or in the hall? He's checking if you're not in a bad mood or with someone he would prefer you stayed away.

His attention is always on you when you're around, but you might not be his main focus most of the time.

B - Body (what is their favorite part of your body?)

I'm sure it's definitely your face, he never forgets too watch your body language in general, but there is something more intimate and more concrete on watching your face and moves of your mimic muscles. No matter if you have stoic emotionless expression or you have no decorum.

One of his favorite part of your face are his eyes. Demetrius is smart and he is very good at biology more specifically, human anatomy. And one fact he never thought is false ever in his whole student life is that you cannot see or express emotions trough your eyes. Human body has tons of functions how to express one's emotion, but eye does not fall into this category. But after meeting you Demetrius had doubts more than once about this fact since your eyes could show him so many emotions no matter of your outside.

C - Cuddling (how do they like to cuddle?)

Yeah, no. I don't think Demetrius would be comfortable with any touch and if, it would take a long time... but let's be a bit delusional here. At the start i think he would really like just laying next to each other and hold hands. Holding Hands would turn into your shoulders touching too and eventually turn into cuddling. Im not sure about the big and small spoon things, but he would like to burry his face into you and feel very relaxed and peaceful. Hair, chest, tummy, shoulder doesn't matter, all is perfect.

D - Dates (what does their ideal date with you look like?)

I already did my rant about this in my previous post but I'll make it short.

Public dates aren't really possible but there is a lot of things to do inside too, right? I was mostly thinking about hanging out in his room, but if you two decided to be more adventurous then cooking would be definitely it. No matter if you can't cook or it's your hobby. (Also eating it afterwards ofc)

E - Equal (do they prefer to be more in control or laid-back in the relationship?)

Demetrius doesn't really have control about nothing in his life, so maybe it would reflect in your realitionship sometimes. Sometimes nudging him or making your time spent together is your job. And Demetrius is more the stricter one sometimes, but since it's definitely his first reality and he trusts, he has no problem giving in or meeting you in the middle.

F - Forgiving (If they had a fight with their partner(s), how would they apologize? Or would they be petty about it?)

This might be personal but he holdes grudges. On everyone's life he does. But YOU will never know about them. Yes he will remember the fact that you spilling your drink on his homework on rainy afternoon till his last day. But he will also remember the pretty clothes you wore for him and how apologetic and guilty you felt afterwards.

He doesn't have problem with forgiving if he knows that you didn't mean any bad. If you two had a disagreement then he's never gonna admit that he's wrong. He will apologize, but sometimes it doesn't really feel very honest. (He was being honest btw)

If you give him a good argument about why you want/need something, you're getting it in a span of seconds.

You want an overpriced designer shoes you wished since you were a kid? You're getting them since making your inner child happy is important (according to you), right?

I don't see him giving you gifts as a surprise, but if you ask him about giving you flowers sometimes, then he will. You just have to nudge him or ask him sometimes, because he doesn't get it yet.

H - Holding Hands (when/how do they like to hold hands?)

Yes, whenever he can. (Only when the two of you are alone) Doesn't matter if they're cold or warm, it's very romantic too him.

I- I love you (how fast would they say ‘i love you’?)

Okay now, if you say it then he probably has to do the same right? He has to answer "I love you too" right? No idea, he's clueless, but the second time you say it he says it back just to be polite. Eventually starts saying it when you're saying goodbye and later sometimes when you're alone.

J - Jealousy (what makes them jealous? what are they like when they’re jealous?)

No, he doesn't get why he should be jealous. You're gonna marry him in the future, so since you have chosen him willingly then you have no reason to cheat, right?

He doesn't really get the concept of cheating, let alone Jealousy. He might feel a bit sad if you're giving more attention to the people around you than him, but he knows that he isn't very romantic or shows his emotions so he just sucks it up.

K - Kisses (what are their kisses like? who kissed who first? where do they like to kiss you?how do they like to kiss you?)

You kissed him first, not so surprisingly. Wither cheek or forehead kiss. It later became a habit when you're saying goodbye (again) or meeting each other (alone). NO kisses in front of other people. You might ask him to give you a kiss after succeeding in one of your tests or understanding the theme he's teaching you. He doesn't really understand at first, but later he does it automatically.

Kiss on the lips? Why not? It just happened one day when you tried to give him peck on cheek, but he turned his head unknowingly.

A/n: Tysm for all the likes on my last post, i geniuly wasn't expecting this much? (Yes I feel like it's a lot) I promise to continue running this Demetrius agenda till my friend starts like him instead of hating on him🙏🦈

▪︎ The first thing I need to mention is that getting an actual date with my guy will be harder than actually asking him out.

▪︎ Starting with the presence of his family title and position. For your both safety measures going actually OUT on a date will be nonexistent or very very rare.

▪︎ The second one is that Demetrius doesn't have any interests outside of studying and succeeding as his father's son.

▪︎ Which also gets us to the point that he dates to marry his s/o since he doesn't seem any appeal or reason in dating for any other reason.

▪︎ Now we're finally getting to the actual reason why would he want to date someone. First, you fit his imagination of the future wife he has expectations about.

▪︎ Second, you peek his interest or he is able to actually understand you. It was mentioned few times that Demetrius doesn't understand other people and his mind is blank (I don't wanna spoiler why so if yk yk).

▪︎ Another thing i wanna consider is that if you get to him very close from the start he might not like it and eventually get scared since he doesn't know things like this which is after math of his family relationships.

▪︎ I can see him actually being relaxed and open with his s/o after some time, but it might have to take a lot of time and patience. Definitely just hanging out in his room or somewhere outside in nature like a picnics on fields.

▪︎Now i FINALLY got to my original scenario of your first and second date, because yours first date was definitely in his room. And not in any weird or sexual way, he cannot really go outside and he spends a lot of time in his room.

▪︎ The start of your date was kinda awkward, especially if you expected you two going somewhere out and Demetrius geniuly doesn't know how to do anything beside what he was teached. Which consists of hard work, studying, some social etiquette and that might be all. He hardly had any hobbies since it only worked as an distraction. (For some reason i can see him playing GOLF haha).

After one sided conversation with Demetrius you had quite mixed feelings, but the strongest one you could pinpoint were definitely embarrassment and disappointment. With the thoughts of burying yourself in a hole you plopped on your date's bed and closed your eyes.

You weren't sure how many time passed from the moment you closed your eyes, few minutes or an hour? Unfortunately or fortunately the mattress shifting and dipping made it's way as an reminder of the situation you are in.

"I don't think I really understand why you're laying on my bed with your eyelids closed in a broad daylight."

So now you had Demetrius laying next to you, a good or a bad thing? Not sure.

"Then why are you doing the same?"

"Well maybe if i will copy your movements, i might find or feel the reason of your doings..."

▪︎ Congratulations, Demetrius actually cares about this realitionship even if it might be impossible to notice sometimes.

▪︎ My own little personal headcanon is that Demetrius would like you to read out loud to him or the other way, him to you. Your voice is definitely soothing no matter if it's more on the higher or deeper level, because anything sounds better than his parents tones of voice.

▪︎ It doesn't even have to be anything meaningful, just read out to him while he's next to you or eventually laying his head in your lap and the world and responsibilities doesn't exist to him anymore.

▪︎ Now the second day is definitely you dragged him outside on some field or forest or anything in nature for a picnic.

▪︎ From one of the newer chapters we know that Demetrius doesn't mess with his food and if he eats then there will be no crumbs left. So if you aren't a good cook or even bought something from a convenience store, he's eating it all up and you're going home with an lighter basket than before.

▪︎ Dating Demetrius will definitely involve him asking you about school at least once in each conversation which might end up in you being tutored if he has time. (He will tell you to ask the school's tutor the first time you ask him)

▪︎ That brings us to study dates, expect with Demetrius you HAVE TO study and you can't really slack of so chose whatever suits you.

▪︎ Meeting each other's families? Good luck with that one because you will need to be more than ready to meet his family.

▪︎ Meeting your family (the Blackbell's) is definitely the better side. Becky is gonna ask milion questions about your realitionship and later report back to Anya with all the details.

▪︎ There is shown a bit about Becky's father and his kind of a... too big clinging to their realitionship so i can see him being very protective, but secretly proud for you bagging the Desmonds oldest son.

▪︎ Now get ready for the final boss, because if you're not second Melinda or someone who won't get into the Desmonds family actual business you are NOT gonna be liked by Donovan.

▪︎ Let's be honest Melinda couldn't care less, she might feel a bit pity for you since she expects you to end up like her.

▪︎ My final headcanon is that even if he didn't love you back you are NOT gonna be cheated on by him. First he geniuly doesn't have time for such a thing and second it's against his morals.

In short, realitionship with Demetrius might be pretty hard to maintain definitely at start. But if he will let you help him and love him you're secured for the life sis.

So just think about Becky trying her best to help with Anya's first love (mission) spontaneously mentioning that her older sibling shares class with Demetrius, Damian's older brother.

▪︎This obviously piqued her interest, being naturally curious about Becky's older sibling Since she haven't mentioned her a single time.

▪︎ Later Anya forced Becky to take her to her sibling's classroom while babling something about a mission which Becky assumed is Anya confessing her undying love (hate) to Damian.

▪︎ You couldn't hide your confusion as your little sister with her friend started vomiting milion words at once, but the most loud ones were definitely "love, siblings, Anya, Bond? Anya's mission? Desmond D-"

▪︎ Wait one of the Desmond dudes was your classmate!

▪︎ Let's say one thing let to another and you had to make an agreement with your little sister since you owed her for a thingy she helped you with in past.

▪︎ You were now assigned a mission too. To befriend one of the Desmonds, more concretely the one who's attending the same class and year as you. And not just be close, but close enough to invite your little sister AND her friend over to his family's house which any normal person would exlect to be in MONTHS... maybe even years.

▪︎ You weren't interested in politics and definitely not with your classmate who happens to be the chairman of the National Unity Party of Ostania. He wasn't on your list of enemies or anything, but you have never spoken to him in your whole life.

▪︎ Was your classmate you never interacted with surprised that some nobody suddenly spoke to him?

... To be honest you don't know yourself with his facial expressions.

Luckily embarrassment and an attack to your heart wasn't the only thing you ended up with. Him not minding helping you with math was more than thousand times bigger step than you expected, but asking you for YOUR help in English was too much for you.

▪︎ So obviously after few weeks of studying together he would open up a little or at least relax a bit around you, right? You were so wrong...

▪︎ While you got used to his robotic like personality he was still staring into your soul whenever you solved anything wrong.

▪︎ Okay so, studying together did not help, maybe because it's so important to him?

▪︎ Why not just risk it all? Was the last thought you had before asking the older Desmond on a date... yes you heard that right, a date.

▪︎ The rejection was kind of what you expected, it was either staring into your soul and then leaving you or rejecting you cuz of his lack of time (or your lack of being what he wants from a partner).

▪︎ At least he was nice enough to do the second one.

"I think you misunderstood our studying lessons..."

"Oh?"

"I didn't agree to study with you because of any romantic interests, you are simply one of the best students in English and i wanted to know my English level in comparison."

This was probably the longest thing your heard him say.

▪︎ Well if you already risked it all why not dog even deeper?

"And from the other side?"

"What side are we talking about exactly?"

"About me, why not date me? I cannot be that bad."

You weren't even sure about formulating your sentences anymore and just desperately tried to blurt out sonething.

To your surprise Demetrius remained quiet and then for the first time looked at you from up and down.

"I don't wanna date for fun, that's waste of time. If i will ever date someone it will be to marry them."

"I would marry you."

At this point you had no idea what you were speaking or why you were so desperate, but the worlds came out of your mind on their own.

Another moment of silence.

"Alright, I will introduce you to my parents on this Friday evening. "

That you were shocked was an understatement, but you weren't able to say anything since Demetrius was already on his way out of the classroom.
