WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5TH

my happy things:

- a new provider saying they appreciated me

- phone calls with graduating providers

- actually feeling accomplished after provider role play

- in provider roleplay when i said it makes me uncomfortable to make asks & tessa said you are allowed to ask for things

- in provider roleplay when i reflected on making asks for transparency when my provider is confused & everyone did that lil silent clap for me

- danii saying she felt the fire when we roleplayed the meeting she shadowed

- getting more providers & feeling competent at my job!!

- cody and toni commenting on my “laser focus”

- driving with the windows down

- the orwells debut album being back on spotify

- the fact that it’s still light out at 7pm

- taking a video of my body & being able to watch it & feeling somewhat fine about it

TUESDAY, APRIL 4TH 2023

my happy things:

- waking up as the sun rises

- having time for breakfast

- eating fruit in the morning

- fremont

- meeting Toni at the coffee shop before going into the office and sitting in the lil hammock swings

- feeling productive and competent at work

- chatting with dad and christie

- sunset x 10000

- the sky

- the water at sunset when it looks like it would be soft if you were to use it like a blanket

- people gathering to watch beautiful things together

- a sort of unspoken sense of community

- those four teenagers playing volleyball together at sunset

- self timer photos of myself

- planning in a notebook

- ella curling up on my chest while i’m writing this

suffering but finally with intention.

SUNDAY, APRIL 2ND 2023

my happy things

- fremont opening market w nick

- the yellow hammock swing in the coffee shop

- maple lattes

- the plant speakeasy where i had mead & nick had a beer and we sat outside bc it sunny out so we drank at the red chairs and table in the grass but it was too cold so we went back inside

- making a charcuterie board and everyone eating it while we tried to build nicks table

- throwing sunflower seeds into nicks front yard to see if they’ll grow

- playing hangman with everyone

- laughing till my cheeks hurt & my eyes water at the kitchen table with nick & his roommates

i drank honey wine while he was making me feel like sunshine.
