“Swimming is fun.” Aqua said as she sat down to put on sun screen. 

“I think you look good in a bathing suit. Your body looks... nice...” Aqua complimented. “Are you embarrassed by it?”

Deunan could help but steal a peak at Aqua as she changed, she really did have the look and feel of a mermaid about her, she was fit and she was beautiful.”Sometimes.” Deunan said, as she continued to strip down, reaching for her swimsuit.

“I don’t really think I’d look all that good in a swimsuit, but I do swim in the ESWAT pool sometimes, we mostly have it for training in water rescues. Think of it as like super hardcore lifeguard training. Rest of the time we’re using it for swim practice, keep in shape, y’know.”

Completely naked, Deunan soon began to slip on her swimsuit, it resembled a more ‘stripped down’ version of her ESWAT undersuit, though the ‘pants’ were now more akin to short shorts and her top left her shoulders exposed.

“You don’t get the right to yell at me, Vanitas. ” Aqua scoffed. “I don’t want to talk to you anyway.”

“They already knew there were two of us! There was no way to get you off the hook! I got our time reduced, and mine greatly so.” Vanitas felt his control on his emotions slipping. Why was she so fucking ungrateful?

Aqua looked up at him with one brow raised. “Mouth to mouth, eh? I think it’s just an excuse for you to kiss me.”

"Its about time you woke up" smiled Chris as he sat across from the sleeping Aqua. "You were out for about a few weeks ! "

“I was? You have to be kidding? Did I miss anything?”

Aqua blushed and looked away from Deunan’s body. She took off her own clothing to change int her swimsuit.  “I use to go all the time when I was a kid.” Aqua said thinking back to the time when she was a kid. “I went all the time with my dad.”

“What about you Deunan? Do you swim much?”

“Of course, heck I think we packed so many snacks we probably won’t be able to eat dinner.” Deunan chuckled, checking the cooler just to be sure, full to the brim.

They entered the change building, Deunan putting the cooler and gym bag down on a bench and opened up he bag, retrieving Aqua’s swimwear first, then pulling out her own swimsuit. To come here and have some fun in the sun, Deunan was a little nervous, she normally didn’t go to the beach that often, and if she didn’t her swimwear usually wasn’t very revealing, Deunan often wore swimsuits that would cover her abdomen, that’s where most of her scars were. Deunan usually only showed those off to those she was comfortable around.

Hence, why she was so comfortable about stripping her clothes off around Aqua.

The blonde had to wonder if Aqua loved going to the beach, she assumed maybe, given her companion’s name. Sometimes Aqua almost reminded Deunan of a mermaid with legs.

“You swim much?” She asked, tugging her top off and putting it on the bench.

“I just feel a little winded that’s all. I’m fine. ” She huffed as she tried catching her breath.

"Its about time you woke up" smiled Chris as he sat across from the sleeping Aqua. "You were out for about a few weeks ! "

“I was? You have to be kidding? Did I miss anything?”

“You sold me out! Why didn’t you take the fall for me!” Aqua asked, her face red with anger.

“I listen, we didn’t steal enough for grand theft. I can get out early, do what I need to do to set us up. Also you know me, we’ve … got money waiting.” Meaning he didn’t tell them about all of their money stashes. 

“Aqua �� They caught us a month ago. That is why I have been busy more than normal. I was hiding our goods.” He was whispering, not wanting to be caught.

Aqua didn’t listen to him. All she felt was anger. “Whatever.... I have to do a lot of time in comparison to you.”

“It isn’t personal, Aqua. I knew we were gonna get caught if we went to lay low like we wanted. I just … found a way to lessen my time.” Vanitas looked at her and frowned. 

“I plan to have something set up for us?” He hoped that would save his skin.
