the superhero registration act was an extremely traumatizing experience for anya especially when it came to taking rachel away from julia. she was barely 16 and someone who grew up without a mother. to her, anya felt manipulated and gaslighted by the whole situation to rationalize the actions that were being performed and wishes she can forget aspects of this time. it was one of the darkest parts of her entire career and one that often replays as nightmares.
