It's more of a matter of opinion, but Jared Bush kinda said this in a Q&A. Honestly, it makes sense, considering that Mariano seemed to let go fairly quickly.

Encantober 2023 - Day 13: Fear
When the cracks in Casita had worsened, a sense of dread had filled the house. Julieta Madrigal stared in shock as Casita rumbled and the cracks grew more and more. The previous day had been so joyful, it was crazy to realize how much can change. She couldn't believe the stuff she heard her mother say to Mirabel. She'd have to have a stern talking to later, but now was definitely not the time. A strong shudder caught everyone off guard; Julieta and Agustín held onto each other to keep balance. Julieta heard a snapping sound that was particularly close, but she couldn't tell were it came from- "GUYS LOOK OUT!" Luisa shouted as she picked her parents up and ran just before a pile of debris could land on them. Despite loosing her gift, years of working out had still made her stronger than the average person. Julieta and Agustín glanced at her in thanks, there was no time for a verbal one. As they were let down, a yelp was heard from the other side of the courtyard. Julieta turned to see Isabela and Camilo fall from the second floor. "Are you guys okay? Are you hurt?" she quickly asked as she helped them up and led them to the front door. They could only nod before being interrupted by a loud thud. The trio almost screamed in horror at the sight of Antonio almost being crushed by his own door. Julieta quickly pushed her hija and sobrino in the direction of the front door before quickly scanning the scene. 'Alright, I just got Isa, Luisa is helping mamá, and…wait. Where's Mirabel?!' With her heart suddenly dropping to the pit of her stomach, Julieta desperately looked around to find her youngest daughter. It didn't take long to find her….ON THE ROOF?! Was her daughter trying to grab the candle?! "Mirabel!" Julieta cried, fighting Castia's urges to get her out. "MIRABEL!!" Either Mirabel didn't hear or she simply ignored Julieta. Casita's tiles finally caught a grip on Julieta, sending her, and anyone else trying to resist, backwards. The Madrigals were flung outside, away from the danger. Julieta quickly got up to see her daughter still going for the candle. "MIRABEL! Mirabel, LEAVE IT!" she desperately shouted, hoping her daughter would just listen. She watched in horror as more cracks surrounded Mirabel, debris threatening to topple down. Mirabel wasn't going to back down. There were distressed cries from the others, but none convinced the girl to get to safety. Julieta couldn't believe she's willing to risk her own life for the miracle. She couldn't believe everyone thought the miracle was worth more than their own lives… Julieta shrieked as Bruno's tower came toppling down and Mirabel slid off the roof, out of Julieta's sight. The sound as the bricks and tiles came crashing down was deafening. Julieta prayed that her daughter was alright. If something happened to her baby girl, she'll never forgive herself.
Not even a second after the dust cleared, Julieta raced through the rubble to find Mirabel, fearing the worst. "Mirabel!" The lack of response worried her, but didn't last long as she quickly found Mirabel. Oh, gracias a Dios, she was alive! Julieta wanted to hug her, but didn't want to risk worsening any potential injuries. It was already a miracle she survived. "Mirabel, are you hurt?" Julieta asked, cupping her daughter's face. Mirabel only shook her head. She seemed devastated about something but Julieta couldn't tell what. It didn't take long for her to notice the burnt out candle. "Mirabel…" Before Julieta could comfort Mirabel, she heard her sister calling for her. "Julieta, come quick!" Julieta hesitated before Pepa called again; it sounded urgent. "Don't move," she told Mirabel, "I'll be right back." Reluctantly, Julieta went to see the matter. Luisa had went in shock from the whole ordeal and Pepa called Julieta and Agustín to help. After calming Luisa down and deciding she'd be okay with only Agustín, Julieta turned to see Mirabel again….only to find she wasn't there. "Mirabel…?" Julieta's heart rate accelerated as she looked around. Where did she go?! "Mirabel!!" Julieta rushed around the debris, hoping to find her again. "Where's Mirabel? Where is she?!" Everyone could hear the panic in her voice as she called. "MIRABEL?!" Mirabel wasn't anywhere in sight. The entire family searched to find her, but there was no trace. It was already dark, something could happen and no one would know or could help her. If she got hurt, she couldn't heal with her mother's food and she could be suffering by herself. These thoughts only made Julieta panic even more. "No, nonononono, this can't be happening," she muttered to herself. She wished this was all just a nightmare and that she'd wake up to everything back to normal. It was a "nightmare", just not the type you dream. "She has to be here somewhere."
It was the middle of the night, and no one had found or heard Mirabel yet; not even the villagers. Pepa, Félix, Isabela, Dolores, Luisa, and Camilo agreed to take shifts searching for Mirabel. Pepa, Isabela, and Camilo took the first half of the night, then Félix, Dolores, and Luisa would take the second half into the morning, assuming she isn't found yet. Alma would stay with Antonio, who was too young to go searching and needed his sleep. Understandably, Julieta and Agustín persisted that they'd search the whole night. It took some convincing, as everyone knew they'd eventually need rest, but this was their daughter at stake and nothing was going to stop them. Julieta and Pepa both searched in the nearby field in different sections. They agreed to meet back at Casita's debris in a few hours. Even then, there was no sign of Mirabel. Pepa was on her way back, disappointed she couldn't find anything. She was very worried for her sobrina, but there was no time for panic. Julieta was already worried enough as it is. For once, Pepa had to be strong for her. Besides, she felt a little guilty taking Juileta away for a moment, letting Mirabel run off. As Pepa got closer to Casita, she could hear light whimpers, causing her to quicken her pace. She found Julieta sitting on a flat surface, tears flowing and lightly sobbing. Pepa's heart broke at the sight. "Juli?" she quietly asked, slowly approaching her sister. She did not know what to do; she was never the comforting type. Eventually, she spoke again, "…Would you like me to sit with you?" Julieta nodded, slightly moving over to make room. After sitting down, Pepa offered a hug, to which Julieta immediately accepted. While she didn't know what happened, Pepa could probably guess. Julieta had reached her breaking point. The stress and fear built up so much to the point where she broke down. Pepa knew what that felt like. "What if we don't find her?" Julieta suddenly asked. It was so quiet, Pepa had almost missed it. "What if something happened to her and we never know?" Oh no. Pepa was not gonna let her sister go down a spiral of "what ifs". It only led to even more stress. "Juli, look at me," she said, holding onto Julieta by her shoulders. "Trust me when I say this, she will be okay. We'll find her and she'll be safe. She's a smart girl and she'll know what to do if something happens. Everyone's looking for her, so we should be able to find her soon. She couldn't have gotten too far." She wiped a tear from Julieta's eye. "Don't stress yourself out too much. When we find her, she will be okay." Julieta seemed to have calmed down a bit, but she was still tearing up. "Come on," Pepa said, "Breath with me." Pepa started taking a deep breath in, and slowly exhaled. Soon, Julieta followed suit. Julieta would usually have Pepa breath with her if the latter needed comforting. Pepa was glad to realize it was just as effective on her sister. After a few moments, Julieta's eyes stopped watering and she began to breath normally. It was silent for a while before she spoke, "Thank you for doing this. It means a lot." Pepa smiled. "It's no problem, I'll do anything for you. It's about time I return the favor anyways." It wasn't long until Agustín came back, and Pepa briefly explained what happened. It was decided that the couple should rest before starting their search again.
The search finally ended the next morning. Julieta and Agustín were making their way back to Casita when they heard some kids shouting. "She's back! She's back!" They perked up at this, before sprinting to Castia as fast as they could. The church bells were ringing, increasing their hope. Agustín had tripped on the way but told his wife to keep going. "Mirabel?!" she called. She rounded a corner to find her baby girl, safe and sound. Neither Julieta or Mirabel wasted time running to each other. "Mamá…" Mirabel said as they warmly embraced. Julieta could feel the tears of joy in her eyes. That moment was the biggest wave of relief she has ever felt, and hopefully it stays that way.

Encanto info from Jared Bush's Q&As
This is a little place where you can find (hopefully) a lot of info Jared has said in his Q&As. This is if you wanna check smth and don't wanna go on a hunt to confirm it since it's been so long. Idk if I got everything, I highly doubt I did, so if you have a piece of info I don't have and have a link to it, I can edit it on. Ngl I'm also kinda doing this for myself cuz I was curious to know everything he's told us. I'll mostly summarize the answer so it isn't longer than it needs to be, but I'll also copy+paste if I'm too lazy.
The info here kinda varies from interesting, to obvious stuff, to potentially pointless but really any of it can be used to do whatever.
Some of the answers he provided aren't concrete solid ("I think __ would happen", "I always thought ___", etc), so take this all with a grain of salt. I'll try to phrase the uncertain ones differently so you know they're not 100% (probably, possibly, might, etc). If the answer he gives is completely up to interpretation, then I won't include it. Some might be repeated cuz I don't feel like looking back to see if he answered the same question twice.
Just to warn you guys before you click "keep reading", this is a LONG post, so if you don't want it fill up your page, don't click it unless you really wanna read everything.
Antonio's Birthday Q&A #2 (5/21/23)
Canon universe:
Dolores never truly believed Bruno was still around. She heard stuff, but everyone told her he was gone, so she thought she was imagining things. "I knew he never left" was her way of saying "I shouldn't have doubted myself."
Antonio was a shy kid and animals are were easier for him to make friends with.
The potteries in Bruno's room were because it was fairly public for people who want visions, so they're probably a nod to that.
When Pedro went to the attackers when he died, he was planning to reason with them.
Luisa's associated with donkeys because they’re beasts of burden and that’s how everyone treated her.
Mirabel has her embroidery because she loves her family, but potentially also because she subconsciously want to make sure the villagers know despite having no gift she is every bit a Madrigal.
Isabela might potentially secretly like Pepa's chaos.
Julieta's really good at hiding her feelings about the pressure of being the town's healer, but she's also a naturally strong person.
There's a reason why Bruno's single but Jared didn't tell us.
Bruno's favorite food is Ajiaco, but potentially also big butt ants.
Julieta probably noticed Mirabel wasn't in the pic at Antonio's ceremony immediately after it was taken, but Mirabel had already left by then.
For a while, Bruno's limit for future seeing was until the fall of Castia, but now it's limitless.
Alma didn't necessarily approve of Agustín at first because he wasn't overly spectacular or confident.
Mirabel and Camilo got along well when they were young, but after Mirabel's ceremony, Camilo felt more pressure to perform and show off.
Even before his gift, Bruno probably worried and wondered about the future, which is what caused his gift.
The Madrigals mostly assumed Bruno had somehow left the Encanto after his disappearance.
The birth of the miracle happened near the turn of the 20th century, and Antonio's ceremony was 50 years later.
The 5th birthdays for the Madrigals is the big one. The others are "regular".
Camilo often annoys Isabela for fun and also because he's a bit envious of her. They're kinda opposite, perfect vs a clown.
The post-movie relationship between Mirabel and Isabela is probably mischevious.
Bruno probably already was breaking from pressure when Isabela was only in single digits.
Alma was loving to all her grandchildren, but sometimes it felt conditional due to her expectations. She wasn't self-aware enough to realize.
Félix can play the tiple, but not shown in the film.
Agustín and Félix probably wore their respective colors before marrying their respective wives. Their colors are also a nod to regionality.
Alma might've seen cracks before Mirabel saw them at Antonio's ceremony (not at the moment tho), giving her a reason to actually believe Mirabel and pray to Pedro.
Based off the book "Mystery in the Rainforest", Dolores and Mariano are engaged and planning a wedding soon.
There is a school in the Encanto, but since it's closed off and was formed in the beginning of the 20th century, new info would cease.
Pedro might've been the one to know sewing and embroidery. He taught it to Alma, who taught Julieta and Mirabel. She probably taught others but Mirabel did it the most.
Bruno's door might've started glowing again during his vision in Antonio's room because Mirabel is making him feel included in the family (and therefore Casita) again.
The Madrigals do have friends groups, just not shown.
Camilo's gift can be tiring. Like an actor playing their part.
Mirabel probably would've had a negative or even traumatic impact from the fall of Castia, mostly due to a near death experience.
The Madrigals have never tested their gifts beyond the Encanto, so it's still a mystery on what happens.
Antonio probably can talk to animals from different countries, not just Colombia.
Camilo sometimes tries to impress everyone with his gift.
Mirabel's birthday became "stressful" ever since her 5th.
Isabela would probably help Antonio decorate his room with crazy plants.
Behind the scenes:
5/21 is Afro-Colombian Day, which is why that's Antonio's bday.
There used to be a deleted scene of Mirabel getting grounded by Casita.
The Guzmans originally had the same number of family members as the Madrigals, and each member was like a doppelgänger of each gifted Madrigal child, except Mirabel, who was represented in the Guzman family by a goat.
There used to be a scene where Camilo's gift goes haywire at night or smth (can't figure out the full pic for this one).
Writers considered early on that Mirabel would want to leave, but they decided that from a character and cultural perspective, leaving her family would have been the absolute worst thing she could imagine.
It's never been established how long the ceremony doors appear before the ceremony, but 9 months has been considered.
Early versions would show that Alma had strict parents. It may or may not be true now, but it would make sense.
Mirabel used to have a gap in her teeth to show her quirkiness, but was removed because they wanted to show it in other ways.
Encanto Disney+ Hollywood Bowl Q&A (12/28/22)
Cannon universe:
Emotions can sometimes affect Bruno's visions.
Camilo often helped take care of babies even before Antonio's birth. He was just naturally good with them.
The stairs in Bruno's room probably grew as he became more distanced, so they probably lessened when Casita came back.
Luisa's favorite sister is probably Mirabel.
Camilo would probably sometimes be happy that Isabela found her true self, while also a bit jealous. It depends on the moment.
The Madrigals' reaction to someone entering the Encanto would probably be chaotic.
As a way to protect them, Alma was always a little strict on her family.
Julieta and Agustín often worried how Mirabel was doing, especially for Antonio's ceremony.
Alma tried to show she loved Mirabel in her own way after her ceremony and before the movie.
Camilo's experience being the only boy in the house for a while was...interesting. Not the easiest.
Pepa and Dolores' gifts have caused some difficulties between the two.
Especially post-movie, Bruno, Agustín and Félix would be a ridiculous trio.
The candle is now gone, but a new miracle took its place.
Félix and Mirabel have a good relationship, especially post-movie.
Isabela's 5th birthday was the first gift ceremony for the grandchildren.
Bruno was probably superstitious before moving in the walls.
Before the house fell, Alma probably wouldn't like Dolores marrying Mariano. After, she'd accept it.
The other Madrigals might have hidden potential in their gifts, much like Isabela did.
The townspeople mostly either put the Madrigals on a high pedestal or see them as equals.
Isa probably had at least one flower she'd intentionally give Mirabel allergies with.
Bruno was probably a bit popular at one point.
Adopted Madrigal kids that were 6+ would probably still get a gift.
Mirabel's near-sighted.
Camilo's probably gotten in trouble for his disguises at times.
Bruno's mostly a rat guy because he's around them the most.
Pepa has a sweet tooth but doesn't let her self have too much due to her weather.
Isabela can grow trees and crops.
There's no definite reason why Isa was the favorite grandchild, but being the eldest didn't help.
When Alma said "the magic is strong, and so are the drinks", she was really trying to get everyone back to the party.
The gifts can tire out the Madrigals if used a lot, sometimes physical pain can occur.
Alma might have siblings, but it's not confirmed.
Behind the scenes:
There used to be a scene of Mirabel getting grounded. Idk if it's the same scene as the previous one mentioned, but the context of the question might suggest otherwise. ("What would've happened to Mirabel if she was found after the dinner?")
There were versions in the end credits of everyone reuniting with Bruno.
There is potential for a Madrigal with OCD, autism, etc, but not yet confirmed.
Triplet's Birthday Q&A (8/17/23)
Cannon universe:
Bruno and the grandkids now watch telenovelas together.
Julieta's favorite food is probably ajiaco.
Mirabel's first word would potentially be "sita" because she loved Casita but couldn't say the full word.
Dolores' room has a lot of soundproofing.
The reason Mirabel seems to interact with Castia the most out of the Madrigals is because she was mostly an outsider, with only Casita to talk to.
Encanto is a hidden place, so simply finding it is near impossible.
There are respected town elders in Encanto, but Alma is considered the founder.
Pedro said something to Alma before he died, potentially in Spanish, but it's not confirmed what.
In terms of personality, Mirabel is the closest to Pedro.
For adoptive kids, Casita may be able to anticipate the arrival of someone new even before the family is consciously aware of it, giving them a new door.
Bruno's a fan of chocolate.
Mirabel loves every color. She has no known favorite.
Julieta got married first between her and Pepa.
Bruno's rats aren't sentient like humans, so Bruno would have to train them to do whatever.
It's possible another Madrigal felt resentment towards Bruno after he left.
Julieta's gift possibly only works with a combo of cooking and giving, but not confirmed.
Bruno learned how to use his gift through practice and invented customs. It was complicated.
Julieta probably needs to know the person's injury before healing it.
The majority of the Madrigals' dominate hands are right. Julieta and Antonio are left handed. Luisa is ambidextrous. It's unsure, but Mirabel is potentially left handed.
Mirabel's favorite food is arepa con queso.
Antonio's favorite snack is nailed rice.
Agustín and Félix have jobs in the town, but not confirmed what.
In a book, it was mentioned that Bruno was the golden child of the family. He probably fell from that position in his late teens.
Agustín's favorite meal from Julieta is chocolate santafereño.
Gifts can possibly be repeated, but not in the same generation.
The refugees/townspeople had brought everything from home they used to start farming when the Encanto formed.
Isabela and Mariano still have a good relationship after the movie. Neither were too wild about the engagement.
The bedrooms can change if their owner wants them to.
The gift ceremonies will now be different without a candle.
Madrigals still do the traditional quinceañera.
The Encanto doesn't have electricity.
Bruno has left the walls a few times for a break.
Isabela will probably keep switching up her outfit now that she can.
Luisa has always felt protective of Mirabel.
Behind the scenes:
Casita used to have shown that it has only 1 bathroom, which was located in the back right corner under Bruno's tower.
There was a deleted scene where Julieta yelled at Alma in front of the entire town after Mirabel went missing.
Julieta is the one singing w/ Mirabel during the "constellations glow/the seasons change in turn" lyric.
There used to be a version of Bruno using water with his vision.
The line said by Mirabel, "Even in our darkest moments there's light where you least expect it" was cut after Lin Manuel Miranda wrote Dos Oruguitas and the emotional thrust of Mirabel’s words needed to evolve to encompass what she’d just learned.
There was a Waiting on a Miracle reprise that was cut because they felt they didn't need it.
The concept of a new door appearing was considered to start with the doorknob.
No one intervened during Alma and Mirabel's argument because the writers felt that it was Mirabel's moment to shine.
VERY early on, Bruno (then known as Oscar) was Mirabel's estranged cousin.
Indestructibility was a gift they wanted to use. It was actually Pepa's original gift.
Dolores' Birthday Q&A (8/31/22)
Cannon universe:
People in Isabela's position wouldn't really have the chance to have authentic relationships because they're hiding their true self. This could potentially apply to Isa herself.
Before Mirabel's ceremony, her family was excited for her. After, the family’s ability to see Mirabel clearly was too obscured by their unhealthy dynamics but were probably unaware of that until Mirabel brought it to light.
Bruno's oversized clothing was by personal preference, potentially because of his awkward nature.
Before Isabela showed up in Bruno's vision, another person was there, who is possibly a young Alma. While not confirmed, it is implied in Jared's answer.
Félix and Agustín already had gifts, just not in a way that others could see.
Isabela lets herself break the rules, so while not confirmed, it's possible she could recreate mythical plants.
The town probably functions like a combination of where everyone came from.
The triplets used to have little meetings in Bruno's room when they were little.
Behind the scenes:
There used to be a scene where Bruno revealed he had a secret elevator in his room.
Agustín's Birthday Q&A (6/19/22)
Cannon universe:
Part of what fuels the miracle is unconditional love. When Mirabel and Isa showed that during What Else can I Do?, it affected the magic.
Julieta often gives people the food they like rather than something random.
For a long time, Isabela was the favorite grandchild for Alma. Before her ceremony, Mirabel was. After Casita's rebuild, many dynamics changed.
Agustín was born in the Encanto, but his family was from a city, so he was raised with the city-vibe.
Luisa's favorite food is bandeja paisa.
Every gift can be affected by emotions in some way.
Casita probably helped Bruno hide, but not confirmed.
If Mirabel and Bruno decided to leave the Encanto after Casita fell, the entire family would've fallen apart.
The only people in the Encanto were the ones who traveled with Alma. They all got there at the same time, no one got in or out.
Behind the scenes:
There used to be an exit for Bruno's wall room behind the family tree, but it wasn't used.
Antonio's Birthday Q&A (5/21/22)
Cannon universe:
Mirabel's canonically 5'2.
Mirabel has good relationships with Pepa and Félix. Félix loves everyone and likes hanging out with pretty much anybody. Pepa is a good tia, she’s just very emotional, but for most of the movie (and her life before) felt she had to bottle her emotions which only made them worse.
Bruno probably doesn't need the sand for visions, but as time went on he added his own superstitions.
The color of the magic in the end changed. It wasn't the color of the candle anymore, but the colors of Mirabel. What that means? No one knows.
Bruno "felt" his vision cave collapsing and investigated. That's how he knew it was destroyed.
Camilo couldn't really hold a form forever because of how tiring it could be.
Mirabel did have a quinceañera.
Casita has a mind of its own with its own emotions. Sometimes it could play pranks on the Madrigals or be too upset to move anything.
Behind the scenes:
Earlier versions had a negative dynamic between Mirabel and Camilo.
The gifts are based off family archetypes. Antonio is a shy kid but opens up to animals.
Random Q&A (3/19/22)
Cannon universe:
The main reason for Mirabel and Isa's falling out was because they couldn’t see the difficulties the other was experiencing, because they were fixated on their own struggles. They were probably closer when they were younger.
Despite being shy, Antonio does have friends in the town.
Due to the triplets' bday being the same day as Pedro's death, it's a mixed day.
Pepa can try to stop natural disasters, but doesn't usually succeed.
Mirabel would sometimes have sleepovers with her sisters when they were younger. There was a deleted scene showing it.
The pink cloud scene in Surface Pressure represents the stuff Luisa wanted to do without the pressure.
Behind the scenes:
Tbh there wasn't any answers that could qualify as behind the scenes sooo... 🤷
Stuff that didn't come from Q&As but is still good info
Madrigal Birthdays (I'm not doing a link for each, just take my word for it lol):
Félix: November 11 (11/11)
Julieta, Pepa, Bruno: October 17 (10/17)
Agustín: June 19 (6/19)
Isabela: August 7 (8/7)
Dolores: August 31 (8/31)
Luisa: November 14 (11/14)
Camilo: December 28 (12/28)
Mirabel: March 6 (3/6)
Antonio: May 21 (5/21)
Madrigal ages:
Alma: 75
Julieta, Pepa, Bruno: 50
Isabela: 21
Dolores: 21
Luisa: 19
Camilo: 15
Mirabel: 15
Antonio: 5
I don't believe the husbands' ages are confirmed, but Félix is confirmed to be a little older than the triplets, while Agustín is a little younger than the triplets.
Julieta is the oldest of the triplets, Pepa in the middle, and Bruno is the baby.

"EXPRESS COMING THROUUUUUGGGGHHH!" Gordon roared as he thundered down the line with the express. He blasted his whistle to gain anyone's attention.
At Kellsthorpe Road, the usual express passengers were getting anxious. By now, they would've been hearing Gordon's loud striking whistle a mile away. Now they only heard the whistle of a small tank engine. An engine slowed into the platform, coming to a complete stop. He whistled his small whistle to be heard. Everyone looked up in shock to see Gordon the Express Engine at the platform. A few people booked an ophthalmologist appointment that day.
No but where is the episode where the engines swap whistles and cause confusion and delay for those who rely on being able to recognize who is who by their whistle alone

Dude I've actually thought of smth similar except all of the original 7 + Emily get swept up in this. Like what if everyone from Tidmouth (& Toby) somehow switched bodies and they gotta deal with it. A funny thing I always thought of is if Gordon ended up with Thomas, Percy or Toby; from biggest to smallest overnight.
these past couple of days ive really been thinking of a random unexplainable mind swap situation w/edward & henry and wacky hijinks ensues!!!1!
will henry finally be able to properly shunt trucks in edward’s shape?
will edward be able to handle the beast that is the flying kipper in henry’s shape?
will henry’s patience last him a single day working in the yard and with the claypit twins?
will edward be able to get used to crossing great distances across the island more often, and to and from the mainland?
would they ever confront each other over the swapping in the first place? would they even be able to keep their acts together as each other for more than a day?
what do they think of being in each other’s shapes, anyway?
and, most importantly…
‘henry’: “hmmm. how is henry usually able to make that v-shaped smile, anyway?”
gordon, with ‘edward’, freaked out: “why are you smiling like that???”

PB&J (Sandwiches)
Okay so back in the day when Encanto was the hot topic and people often found many cool details, a lot of people noticed that the triplets were first introduced as Pepa, Bruno & Julieta, making the acronym PB&J (like the sandwich).
This made me think "oh wouldn't it be funny if PB&J sandwiches were their favorite sandwich?" This thought was in my head until I realized that Colombians probably didn't eat them. And THEN I realized that they were first invented in 1901, like a year after the Encanto was created (at least according to google). So yeah that kinda disappointed me. But then I remembered that the mountains cracked open and people can travel in and out, so then maybe someone traveled to Encanto and ended up showing them PB&Js.
So now my headcannon thing is that one day the triplets discovered the sandwiches and their acronym from someone. They became a bit popular among the Madrigals for a quick snack, and occasionally the triplets would call it the "Pepa Bruno and Julieta sandwich" as a joke.

Coming back to this, maybe it was to be fancy? Julieta took off her apron for this dinner but not the breakfast, so idk. It could've been a late birthday gift
Because you reblogged the post with the gifs of the chaos at the dinner table, I just noticed Antonio is wearing his vest that he wore in promotional pics/posters. I wonder why that's the only scene it appears in.
immediately I’m scrolling through this whole movie and you are absolutely correct why the fuck did they do that what was the point

Next thing you know is that Pepa's shorter than Félix and Mirabel's just as tall as Luisa
Julieta wakes up from her nightmare of Bruno being taller than her and Agustín is beside her like "amor what's wrong?" Except he's only 5 feet tall because she's actually still in her nightmare.

Encanto Bloopers I made up
Like my previous post, these were made slightly less than 2 years ago and posted on the Encanto wiki. Yes ik I'm being a bit lazy but whatever. So you remember when animated movies would sometimes have animated bloopers as a bonus? Well here's my take on an Encanto themed one.
Comedy isn't my best thing so I hope these are actually kinda funny.
After Antonio finishes his ride with Parce, his jaguar, Pepa and Félix run over to hug him. Meanwhile, Parce puts a little too much force on his hug with Agustín, causing both of them to fall over. "I'm alright!"
"Look, if I could help anymore I would but um...that's all I know. Good luck. I wish I could've seen more." "Yeah........Yeah!" Mirabel kicks the door open, instead of it simply opening, it came off the hinges. "Uhhh......We might need to repair that." Bruno tries to hide his laugh.
"Luisa, Dolores says you're totally freaking out. Any chance you know something about last night with the magic--" Luisa's eye twitches. "--YOU DO!" Mirabel slams the table but accidentally hits the rim of her plate, causing food to fly everywhere. "Everywhere" meaning mostly onto Pepa's face. Nobody, not even Pepa, couldn't help laughing.
Everyone's doing their choreography at the dinner table for "We Don't Talk About Bruno". Camilo, Félix and Agustín toss the glasses to each other. Agustín throws it a bit too far, making Camilo miss and the glass shatters on the floor. "Whoops." Mirabel's still watching in the background, chuckling. "What did I tell you? Papá's accident-prone."
Convincing Bruno for a vision-Take 2. "Yeah........Yeah!" Mirabel, once again, tries to kick the door open, but this time, Mirabel kicked a hole in the door. "We're never getting this scene done." Mirabel and Bruno both start laughing uncontrollably.
Mirabel was trying to talk to Dolores outside while she got breakfast. Behind her was Dolores and Félix. "Camilo! Stop pretending you’re Dolores so you can have seconds." Though, Dolores didn't shift back. "Camilo, uh, why aren't you shifting back?" Dolores couldn't hold it in anymore. She burst out laughing as "Dolores" behind Félix shifts into Camilo. "Yes! We finally got him!" They've tried for a long time to fool him. Félix gave an "of course they would do this" look and laughed.
CRACK! Mirabel quickly turns around while hiding the vision. "Tía jeez!" "Sorry, sorry I-I-I didn't mean to-shoo, shoo, sho-AH!" While Pepa was pushing her cloud out, she gave herself a slight shock. She's fine. "Mirabel consider yourself lucky you didn't get a gift." She was being half-witty half-serious.
Bruno, goofing off, said in a very causal tone, "Hey, when you save the Encanto come visit. Hey get outta here!" Bruno tried to even act "cool" by leaning on the painting door. The painting moved further causing Bruno to fall over. Mirabel tried to hold in her laughter.
"LOOK! It's Mr. Mariano! Hey you can marr-mar-maaughh!" "Hey you can mar-mar-marry, shoot!." "Hey you can marry my sister if you wanna. Buween. Buween? Great, I invented a new word! It's 'but' and 'between' mixed together." Isabela, Mariano and Mirabel all started to laugh at the newly invented word.
"But what's your gift?" Mirabel suddenly gets an accordion thrown at her, except she almost drops it. "Almost" as in, centimeters away from hitting the floor and breaking. "Ah! We're good! We're good!"
After the chaotic dinner, some of the family ran out of the dining room. "Abuela, please! There's got to be an explanation!" "I hate you!" "WAA I'M A LOSER!!" "Luisa-AHHH!!" Agustín slips on a puddle and lands face first. "What did you d-AH!" Pepa followed and tripped on Agustín. "Mamá? I think we need some arepas."
"Casita! Casita! Help me! Help me!" Mirabel looses grip and falls down the pit. Bruno runs over but fails to catch Mirabel's hand. "Ah! No, no, no!" Mirabel's fine. She said in a very dramatic tone, "Oh no! I'm falling to my death! Ahhhhh." Bruno couldn't hold in his laughter.
Mirabel is having her pep talk with Antonio under her bed. "You're gonna get your gift, and open that door, and it's gonna be the coolest, ever. I know it." Antonio stares blankly at her. "Wait what was my line?" He and Mirabel start laughing.
"Seven-foot frame, rats along his back!" Camilo shifts back-and-forth between himself and Bruno, while two rats appear on Camilo's back, except there's supposed to be three. "Wait, where's Carlos?" Antonio found him. "He's right here! He says he doesn't want to do it anymore." "What? How can he not want to do this?! This is the best part of the song!" Bruno walks in (without a mischievous grin). "Carlos, if you do this scene, you can have extra food for a week." "He says for two weeks." "Fine." "Okay, now he'll do it." Meanwhile Mirabel is giggling in the background. Who knew rats were good negotiators?

Amount of times Bruno is mentioned
A little less than 2 years ago, I did a count of who said Bruno the most. Why? Cuz I thought it was ironic considering the famous song. I also did it cuz of this video. I originally made this post on the Encanto wiki but I decided to post it here too. It's gonna be a little different from the original post but still similar.
So here's what I counted:
Alma: 3
Félix: 7
Julieta: 1
Pepa: 16
Bruno: 3
Agustín: 1
Isabela: 0 (Surprising, isn't it?)
Dolores: 8 (The person that made the video forgot the one "Bruno" during the over lapping part)
Luisa: 2
Camilo: 6
Mirabel: 16
Antonio: 1
Villagers: 3 (I'm pretty sure they're also singing at the end of "We Don't Talk About Bruno", I honestly don't know)
In total, "Bruno" is mentioned 51 times. And here I thought that they didn't want to talk about him. (Whenever 2 or more people say "Bruno" at the same time, I count it as 1.)
Ok, so you might've noticed that Isabela is the only Madrigal to not say Bruno's name. Idk if this was intentional, but if it is, I do have a theory on why. My "theory" is that she's the only one who never said his name in the movie was cuz she was the "perfect one". She had to be perfect and live up to everyone's expectations, probably meaning she followed every rule. (Almost) Everyone enforced the "don't talk about Bruno" rule. Therefore, she's the only Madrigal who never said Bruno's name, not even once.

The Fat Controller catches wind that the engines at Tidmouth are refusing to come out, pondering what on earth they could be striking about this time he bods down to the sheds to see what the problem is.
Much his utter disbelief, the engines are in the midst of a fierce battle of monopoly that they refuse to part from, with the engines' crew members rolling the dice and moving the pieces for them. Are the humans more than aware that they'll probably get in trouble for this? Yes of course. But the sight of Gordon having a full on meltdown after landing on income tax for the fourth time while Percy is struggling to figure out what to mortgage next as Edward sits with his abundance of hotels is way worth the disciplinary.
