Monkey plays catch-me-if-you-can with Pixie, our mischievous cat!

The monkey visitor to our house plays with Pixie, our mischievous cat!   Each time, he comes tantalizingly close to Pixie and then runs away as though he is daring Pixie to catch him!   There is no animosity between them, just friendly play! Watch this cheekiness and enjoy.

An evening of Art and Entertainment at VR Bengaluru Mall- Whitefield Art...

Art, dance, music, entertainment, food – what more can one want at a mall!  We spent a lovely evening experiencing all this at the VR Bengaluru Mall. This Black Box was transformed into Bangalore’s largest art gallery for established and emerging artists to display their work and a stage for eclectic events.   Watch this video to get a feel of this mall atmosphere and enjoy the city lights of Bangalore on our return journey to home that looked like sparkling jewels as the evening progressed.

A Visit to Republic Day Flower Show 2018 at Lalbagh Botanical Garden

The theme for this year’s Republic Day Flower Show at Lalbagh Botanical Garden is the Mahamastakabhisheka of Lord Gomateshwara.   The myriad colors everywhere of the flowers and vendor stalls displaying their colorful merchandise were a feast for the eyes.   Watch this video and experience the riot of colors!

Boxes, Bags and Mischievous Cat Pixie!

The Amazon package arrives and can you guess who is most excited? It is Pixie, our most mischievous and curious cat!   Boxes, bags, baskets and such are his favorite places.  Once the box is emptied, it becomes Pixie’s fort!  He climbs, jumps, hides, bites, scratches, and finally snuggles inside and takes a cozy nap!

While the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Pyramid Valley is one of the Seven Wonders of Bangalore in India!  One can, relax, meditate, go on treks, or just spend some time by the lake on Pyramid Valley’s beautiful serene campus.  Which are all the Seven Wonders of Bangalore? An evening well spent at Cafe Vivacity

Cafe Vivacity is relatively new (just opened this year) in Banashankari, Bangalore.  We spent an evening chilling out at this warm and welcoming cafe.  The best thing was this was not a crowded place, which was such a welcome change.  Our favourite seating here became the hanging chairs!  You can play games, read a book, watch TV or just swing in the chairs and chat while you wait for your food!

An outing to Bangalore Palace, The Indian Windsor Castle!

Bangalore Palace, also known as the Indian Windsor Castle (its architecture inspired by the Windsor Castle in England), had been a summer retreat for the Wadiyars.  Though born in Bangalore, this is my first visit to Bangalore Palace.  What I loved the most was the beautiful facade of the palace - charming, picture perfect and eye soothing.  A piece of England in India!  We will take you on a tour of this quaint palace in this vlog.
