I finally got into Hollow Knight and came up with this concept for my sona as a buggy! Their normal eyes are reddish-pink but the green is a type of radiation poisoning that makes their exoskeletal-morning-star-stinger thing unpredictable in attacks :P

for me I don't think the point of the 'final choice' for what happens to Niko was about which one is the right choice.

it's the choice in the elevator scene before reaching the tower. when you tell Niko the truth: that you don't know what's going to happen. that you're scared too.

so when you make the choice, Niko will trust you if you've earned their trust, whatever choice you made.

because as long as we make a choice, then the cycle ends. that is true to life too. there is truly no way to predict the outcome of every choice. you must keep moving forwards, anyways.
