she/her ~ 21 ~ sam hello there! I'm Sam! I've been playing Animal Crossing since City Folk released when I was a kid. Since then, I have played New Leaf -- and now I'm on to New Horizons! This is mostly just a personal blog for the progress I'll make with my island, Arcana. I can't wait to get started! twitter: @arcanaisland
villager: haha is there no one you’d rather talk to? you really love me huh, are you following me? am i your only friend? wow get your life together, i am disappointed in you. get out of my sight please you’re scaring me… what are you going to do with that axe..?
As someone who is SUPER anxious about worldbuilding.... I needed this.
I needed this reminder today, so I'm posting it in case anyone else needs it, too.
Animal Crossing is not a competition.
Just because other people might be further along than you doesn't mean you're failing the game or your villagers or doing a bad job. It's okay to not have Blathers on your second day of playing. It's okay if you haven't been to the deserted islands yet. It's okay if you haven't gotten past the flimsy tools. Everyone works at their own pace and you don't need to be so hard on yourself.
Animal Crossing is meant to be relaxing. If you're stressed about it, it might be good to step away for a bit.
