omg i need this so much

Here's a short, pro Nesta fic idea; Nesta meets a sailor in one of the taverns she frequents, and after some small talk, makes the decision to pursue her dream of travelling. She leaves after saying goodbye to Elain and Feyre, but largely ignoring the rest of the IC, which Feyre doesn't like. At first, shares letters with her sisters, mostly small talk, and minor updates. However, after a while, Feyre decide Nesta's 'well enough' and healed so she can 'come home'.

She refuses.

She tries for a while, only for her and Elain to become increasingly distressed at Nesta's refusal to return, until eventually, there's radio silent between them. Then, about a decade or two later, the IC are desperate to find the Trove, and knowing Nesta won't come willingly, send Azriel/Morrigan to get her. They find out where she is, winnow there, grab her, and winnow back to the river hous, where Cassian is in shambles after not seeing her, Elain and Feyre run to hug her as if they didn't have her essentially kidnapped, only for Nesta to shove them away, pissed.

An argument starts, where the IC yell at Nesta, Nesta yells at them, and eventually, the door opens as another woman barges in, wearing a glowing friendship bracelets and matching robe to Nesta, and yelling at Feyre and Elain for ruining her (Nesta's) wedding day.

What do you think? Should I write this? Any theories as to where this is going?

DE VOLTA AOS 15 - o que rolou com os personagens do Fabricio e Joel?

Desde a primeira temporada, eu fui apaixonada no Fabricio. Delinquente com arco de redenção, um ator lindo de morrer, enemies to lovers com a Anita, literalmente não tinha como chamar mais a minha atenção. Eu estava totalmente rendida e ele concorria ao pódio de melhor personagem contra a Luiza (não vou falar muito dela porque ela estava APAGADA nessa temporada).

E ai tínhamos o Joel, nerd desleixado que caiu de paraquedas na história e tinha um bom futuro com a Anita, mas todo mundo sabia que não era nada lá essas coisas (com o Fabricio pra comparar ainda o coitado não tinha chance). Enfim, ele sempre com a mesma cara de coitado, zero charme e os atores também não tinham química nenhuma. Pra coroar tudo ainda, ele ainda forçava um futuro chato e sem graça. Joel, você perdeu antes mesmo do jogo ficar legal.

Terminei a segunda temporada completamente RENDIDA por fanita, o Fabricio terminando o último episódio da série falando “você sabe dizer se a gente fica junto no futuro?” e eles BEIJAM!!!! ISSO É CINEMA E ELES SÃO MEUS PAIS.

mas ai viemos para a terceira temporada

Entre trotes e calouradas, Fabricio perdeu o sabor. Não sei dizer se foi ele tentando ficar com a Filipa pra fazer ciúmes na Anita, se foi o papo (MAL DESENVOLVIDO E MAL FEITO) da irresponsabilidade dele com dinheiro ou se foi ele sendo o maior coitado porque tava indo mal na faculdade. Mas o que ficou pra gente nos telespectadores, é que ele perdeu o brilho totalmente. Charme 0, só olhos de tristeza e de coitado que vai perder a Anita.

De repente todo o coitadismo do Joel teve seu brilho, um olhar de pedindo b*ceta muito bem feito bem elaborado. Não tinha ainda nenhuma química com a Anita, mas ficou sim extremamente charmoso, um nerd que vai acabar gostoso com a minha vida. Sorte da Filipa que percebeu isso e pegou pra ela.

Dito tudo isso, achei um sabor os namorados da Anita morando junto, mas a kinga mesmo foi a Camila que ficou não só com o melhor homem da serie (Fagulha maioooor de todos) como também pegou um básico padrão pra chamar de dela. Enfim, alguns sabem como viver a vida.

I think sjm lacks vision because what do you mean lucien and nesta would destroy each other in a bad way? he is literally a man that came out of her romance books. if he kept his acotar personality I guarantee that he would match her freak.

also the way that the nimona movie showed that hate is a taught behavior?? the way that gloreth, the hero worshipped for slaying monsters, was fully accepting of nimona until her mother told her what to believe? until that generational bigotry was passed down? the way the director’s motive wasn’t even power like most evil government figureheads in media, but rather a fear of monsters destroying the kingdom because that hate had been instilled in her too, like it had in gloreth? the way ballister was also indoctrinated into hatred of “monsters” until he was just as outcast as one? because only then was he willing to change and learn?? and how even people with good hearts and good intentions like ballister and ambriosius and even the queen herself are still capable of perpetuating bigotry and unnecessary violence when they don’t take the time to understand or learn about the “others” they supposedly hate????????? i need to lie down

Props to Suzanne Collins for having some throw away line in one of the first chapters of The Hunger Games about there only ever having been two victors from district 12 and then never mentioning who the one was besides Haymitch and then writing a book ten years later all about who that first victor was with leaving us with just enough doubt about her fate... now that is good writing

ok my thoughts on Jinx:

I first liked her because I love the ‘too intelligent for their own good’ characters, sassy kid & sleep issues. And that’s all we had on sadie’s story

BUT IN ARAN’S POV the girls just showed us her claws:

aran saving jinx like they were related but nothing really solid had been shown to us UNTIL chapter 52: OMFG JINX UUUUUUU R JUSTTTTTT

now for real:

her soul being completely dark because she hurt those she loved: probably by hurting aran (we don’t know a lot about that) and lying to her brother and sister

SHE IS 25????

AND SHE WORKS FOR THE GODS?

I just feel she will be a key for the next book’s plot, even not been the chosen one (like sadie and aran). She has too many secrets and when she become a full adult (idk how it works for her species) she won’t be able to hide herself anymore and - that’s what I’m expecting - shit will happen. I hope to see her using her skills in the war and being like a commandant or something - but not physically fighting, I am kinda done with my favourite characters doing only this.

She is a mysterious and mischievous character we know very little about, but there is suffering and manipulation on her - by the gods?. I really would like to know more about her story and I hope the autor give us more information.

my thoughts about Psycho Devils (I just finished my second reading because i’m obsessed please don’t talk about it)

1st of all: I would like to clarify that I started these books because I was told that that would be a girl disguised as a boy to fight and it gave me mulan + trans vibes I just had to read it. (that’s not what actually happen but i liked anyway)

Now let’s start:

My queen Arabella is my favourite kind of character because 1. she is depressed af 2. she just feels totally alone 3. her thoughts are generally self destructive but sometimes there are the “i am so beautiful and sexy”, hence totally relatable.

Arabella being enslaved to the kings: she wasn’t, the side effect of the tattoo was actually from the matting bound, her life was now just related to them (which i think is a punishment). The true villan here was her father.

Arabella competing in every challenge: badass (the girl just had the thing). Here I must add that the kings were very fucking dumb and selfish because after the 2nd or 3rd (don’t remember) challenge Mallum said that they had to throw a party so they could have sex and be more relaxed for the next challenge BUT my girl was the only one truly competing (and they have noticed that) and all she could do at the party was get intoxicated because of the curse/spell/enchantment. My very honest vai te fuder.

Arabella’s punishment: pure torture. I believe that it being with John was the only part the gods were slightly merciful (I don’t think she could handle doing it with anyone else), but I think they wanted to see how the curse works and if she could handle such agony. Moreover, it was a humiliating punishment - because of sexism and it implications - and hers teammates could have been a little more comprehensive since they knew the situation.

John and Luka: I really thought that John would have some kind of personality disorder like Sidney Sheldon book Tell Me Your Dreams, but instead there was a twin plot twist (haven’t seen that coming) and I liked it more (nothing to do with chapters 49 and 50 - or maybe it does), when Luka lift her with her wing I was — just my babies.

Arabella stabbing that abusers dick: liked that (I would prefer if she have eaten his tongue but that is just me, maybe she was avoiding the Aran, the cannibal title).

Arabella and Sadie: I just love them, supportive bff that’s how they do.

Arabella and John and Luka: specifically this one I have to thank you the autor I really thought she would end with the devils and that was killing me. John and Luka were hers firsts and only friends, the only people who cared for her in the academy and THEY WERE FUCKING IN LOVE WITH HER SINCE FOREVER. hence the best lovers she could get (i don’t wanna talk about the fact that they are twins and have betrothed the same woman i am voluntarily avoiding that part).

Arabella being the king’s revered: simply perfect her revenge will be sooooooo delicious this is truly my favourite part because i don’t dress for women i don’t dress for men lately i have been dressing for REVEEEEEENGE. but that’s just me. THEY FUCKING DROWNED HER WHILE THEY WERE FUCKING LAUGHING THEY FORCED FOOD THROUGH HER THROAT CALLED HER A HOLE AND A LIAR CALLED HER A SLUT AND A WHORE- i mean that’s just me but I look forward to see they burning in hell. Yes i am ignoring the bound sickness.

I’m remembering the fact that after Rhys screamed in Cassian’s head telling him to grab Nesta and get on or he might just take her out, this mf actually listened.

Like instead of flying to Rhys’ house and blasting him in the head for threatening his mate and acting a damn fool, he packed her shit and had her hiking mountains so that a 500+ year old man could calm down.

It was kinda funny at the time but……..

I’m really rolling over this because the way I would’ve jumped in the cauldron and forced the erasure of that mate bond so quick. 🤣

Are you telling me that educated and intelligent Nesta spent more than a year JUST reading romance novels and no interest in politics and culture books to understand her situation and thus was deceived by a law that doesn't exist??? 😐

It’s crazy to me that I even need to say this but nesta was ALSO a child when they lost their wealth and moved to the cabin. The only person to blame for allowing feyre to go into those woods was their father. Children should not have to take care of children. Being the eldest child does not mean you have to become the primary caregiver to your siblings and it certainly doesn’t mean that your evil or failed your siblings if you don’t take up that role.

The only person who failed feyre in that cabin was her father. Not Elain. And certainly not nesta.

Their father failed all of them.
