That really sucks. I'm sorry he did that to you. I'm proud of you for managing to cut him off. I'm sure you'll find someone else soon. You've got a decent amount going for you with your skills you've built up, from what I understand. And I'm proud of you as well. Definitely better to work your way up to the draw weight you want rather than wasting money on a bow that won't do what you want. So I think you've pretty much got a good idea of the bow you need. Now just to pick out a colour and some arrows. Carbon fiber is probably best unless you've got your heart set on wooden or another material you've heard about. . . . At least 30 lbs draw weight. But if you want to do surefire damage, 40 lbs. Although you can get a lighter draw weight compound bow that will do a lot of damage, might be more effective scaling compared to a longbow.

I'll.. think about it. I wouldn't want to get forcefully traumatized. But maybe there'd be another way, somehow, like.. with those Labyrinths, they can do a lot, maybe they could trigger some kind of mental thing that would have the same effect, without the severe trauma.

Okay, so, dreamwalking is the thing I do. Basically, I can put people to sleep and fully control dreams. Some dreamwalkers, those who specialize in Labyrinths, which I do, can create large mental labyrinths that prevent telepaths and dreamwalkers from entering your mind or your dreams.

And.. you can't give us a Labyrinth because you need to be able to secure it to a magical core for it to work?

Correct. I really do wish I could give you guys Labyrinths. But you're also not at much of any risk considering you're unempowereds living in a mostly unempowered area.

What if we had magic but we just didn't know about it?

Well, you're too young to have magic, but I suppose mom and dad could be latent. That's when someone has a magical core that they can't access yet. Usually something big needs to happen for them to gain access to it.

There's a lot of specialized buildings, but I'm not familiar with a bunch of stuff still, so I'm.. going to mostly focus on the areas I'm knowledgeable in.

It's silicone, not real, don't worry! They've got a lot of brain stuff around this area. It's another bit of the actual science stuff for magic. Like, electrical currents in the brain and stuff. It's a whole thing. I'm a little fuzzy on some of the details now that it's been a few months since my last telepathy class.
