Annie: There are legends of people born with the gift of making music so true, it can pierce the veil between life and death; conjuring spirits from the past...and the future. In ancient Ireland, they were called Filí. In Choctaw land, they called them Fire Keepers. And in West Africa, they were called Griots. This gift can bring healing to their communities. But it also...attracts evil....

Sinners is what happens when directors are allowed to experiment with the genres like a horror musical that puts you in a trance and makes you question your existence while also being campy and funny but also breathtakingly beautiful but also haunting and terrifying? Yes please I literally did not want to leave the theater I wanted to just stay there and keep watching it over and over

The traumatized Firefly nurses when asked about the hot smuggler who held them at gunpoint and stole the immune girl

(Seriously, why did the description Abby gave include the rumors that he’s handsome, who gave her that tidbit if not the nurses he spared in the surgical room?)

I joke but I did process that Padmund is probably JUST like Caleb was as a child. Clever and eager kid who is so excited to learn magic to be helpful to his community but also sheltered in certain ways that make him a little naive and, in some respects, easily influenced. He comes from a happy family! He's genuinely affected by what people say about him! He wants to be useful! He doesn't want to hurt anyone!
Anyway, if you need me I'll be crying about it.

The epilogue story to this era of stories in Exandria being a love letter to Matt, as the architect of Exandria, from Brennan and Liam is so perfect.
Especially since Matt is always saying that this world is a gift from him to his friends, and yet he still consistently shies away from taking much credit for how incredible it is.
Like I’m so happy for him to have played Garen as this archetypal old dwarven smith because that’s what he loves playing and he did an incredible job, but it’s also so fitting for him to have been unknowingly the mortal form of the Exandrian god of creation, even more so with the understanding that the humble mortal life he led as Garen served as the keystone for the divine gate.
Also, Liam as Erro sacrificing himself to save Garen and then coming back later to collect him as his brother with the understanding that Exandria would be left in good hands after all their hard work… just beautiful, both in-game and with all the out-of-game context and poetry.

Patia Por’co staring down her end and deciding “All the knowledge of the world means nothing if it dies with you”. Sending it off into the world hoping against hope it will reach its target, resting her hopes on the next generation. “It’s all on you smart girl”. And it Did reach her, and when the time came Maya ensured it was passed on, impressed upon the next holder the importance of it and this continued despite constant attempts to destroy it, because hundreds of years ago, a woman decided in her final hours that she would do what she could to keep history alive so future generations could learn from it and hopefully. Hopefully. They could continue the work despite the end of an age.
