Recently someone asked me what was the most unexpected thing in the Jedi Archives. The answer is we have thousands and thousands of pages of research notes and records from all psychological or anthropological research, surveys, and interviews. Most of these are not from Jedi researchers. The reason?

When researchers are interacting with participants, one of the AAA Code of Ethics dictates that you “must protect and preserve records of research and raw data”. Since the Jedi Archives are the most protected and preserved archives in the galaxy, a lot of researchers ask us to hold on to their data for safekeeping. It is also in a wing that only allows researchers and archivists into, as to protect the possible personal information inside. I think that how scientific fields interact is so interesting!

One of these days I need a psychologist to study the very different social structure of the Jedi because every time I leave the temple for a mission I get a moment of culture shock. Everyone in the Jedi temple is connected in some way or another and for lack of a better term, it’s almost like an extended family. I need someone to tell me what the Force is going on here

Ever wonder about early calculations in mapping the galaxy? This here is one of these first written records of interstellar astrophysics. This is panel 50 of the Dresden Codex, from the planet Yucatán. This describes some of the early accounts of remote probes coming back from space, known to the Yucatánian as the Outerworld.

Fun fact about the Yucatán people: they used a base 20 numerical system, which is a very different mathematical formula than the Universal base 10 which originated from the Arabian star cluster

I am unsure what any of these animals are but they are tiny and kinda friendly (except for the baby (?) one that keep trying to eat my hand but its mouth isn’t big enough) any ideas of what these are?

Any ideas of that this guy is?

Hello! Sorry for falling off for a long while, I have found a great lead and am well on my way to finding what I am looking for. I would like to just put this out there, I am hoping to talk with a Mandalorian named Beva Purr. I believe she was last seen somewhere near Endor. For the record, I am in no way associated with any type of debt collector or bounty hunters, and I am only looking for information on an object. So I am shipping out tomorrow for my new mission, tracking down ancient Jedi texts that have previously been thought to be lost to time. I have some leads and will be unable to post specifics but I am off on another adventure

Ok so for clarification for anyone who wants to know: my master was Virgil, and before me was my older padawan sister Mari and my new padawan brother is the most chaotic 12 year old ever to exist, Kev.

I would like to submit a formal apology for my former master, I have only been babysitting my new padawan brother for 3 hours but if I was anything like him (and apparently I was) Master Virgil’s patience with me was much stronger than I previously thought

My old master just got a new padawan so you know what that means: NEW LITTLE PADAWAN BROTHER!! This kid is absolutely adorable and me and him are going to cause so many problems together
