fmddowoonâ:
dowoonâs new year meeting with bcâs stylist spelled out nothing but impending doom for his rather haphazardly organised wardrobe. make room in your closet, theyâd said. youâve seriously let your style go. itâs gone on for long enough. you look like a slob in candid fantakens. why the hell are they so serious over clothes? heâs never had any sense of style to let go in the first place, but he supposes the aim is to improve his impression. heâs skeptical, of course â the company caring about something theyâve never shown any interest in before is always dangerous. up until now, theyâve been happy to let him fade into the background in unbranded grey sweats and a hoodie that smells like his dog. he shines on stage, not off of it.
sat cross legged on his floor, he turns to the person heâs invited to help him clear out his clothes with a scowl. meanwhile, wang, his chihuahua, sniffs the pile of shirts already forming the donation pile with interest. âi donât dress that badly, do i?â no, he doesnât, he assures himself, not even giving the other a chance to respond before he resumes his grumbling, his voice low and originating from the back of his throat. âitâs just annoying. i only want to be comfortable. theyâre gonna make me wear stiff denim, i know it.â
namjoo wasnât planning on spending her afternoon going through clothes, especially someone elseâs clothes, but when dowoon called her sounding so distraught and asking her to come over so she could help him go through his clothes, she couldnât say no. she may have appeared to be some kind of ice queen, but she wasnât completely heartless. besides, she didnât mind when it came to clothing. even if they werenât her clothes, she would still enjoy it. and it gave her the perfect opportunity to bestow her fashion knowledge onto her junior. being raised in a well to do family, she was always given the best of the best, and clothes were no exception to that rule. she grew up with the latest fashions created by the hottest designers and being raised around that had rubbed off on her quite a bit. everything that lined her large closet was designer, from her handbags to her clothes to her shoes.Â
and everything dowoon had was.. definitely not designer. she gently pushed his chihuahua to the side away from the pile of shirts, picking one up and folding it neatly, placing it on the ground and continuing through the pile, folding each shirt. âyou donât dress badly, just.. not the best.â she didnât want to sound rude, but he asked for the truth, didnât he? âyou can be comfortable and still wear nice clothes. fashionable doesnât always mean stiff denim. i can give you a few pointers if you want me to.âÂ

eunahfmdâ:
attempting to read between the lines can be detrimental to oneâs mental health. sometimes eunah is wrong with her assertions, but still, those assumptions of hers continue to play on her mind. new âwhat ifsâ to be stored in her mind for future late nights. sheâs gotten better over the last year, and has found a way to calm her mind when she finds herself jumping to these false conclusions. itâs different when she knows sheâs right. as 7rophy are rushed into preparations for their next mini-album, the subtext from their meeting with dimensionsâ staff is glaringly obvious, and the whispers flying around the company only serve to further back her suspicions.Â
this year is going to be make or break for them as seven. last year, theyâd lost the momentum theyâd gained from latata, hann and senorita. but now, queendom and lion have put the publicâs eyes back on them. they canât drop the ball again. eunah knows thereâs luck intrinsically involved in these things, but sheâs not ready for 7rophy to be put on the back burner.Â
âdo you think itâll be okay?â eunah folds her hands in her lap, eyes focusing in on the one nail with chipped polish. sheâs so stuck inside of her own head, and she needs to let some of it out. âit feels ⊠vain, i suppose, to say, but i know if the next song doesnât do well, iâll be fine. thatâs not the question though.â she pauses. for the first time in a long time, eunah feels like sheâs back on pause. âmaybe iâm lucky to have had the members i do at all.â
as hard as he tried, namjoo found it surprisingly difficult to try to empathize with eunah. as of late, and since her time as a trainee, she didnât really care much about her career as an idol. in her mind, the idol life was just a shortcut to her true career path as an actress, which she was already on steady footing towards. as harsh as it may sound to anyone else, fuse could disband the very next day and namjoo wouldnât have blinked an eye. she adored the girls in fuse she had developed close bonds with and would forever hold them close to her heart, but music wasnât her life. at least not in the way that it appeared to be eunahâs life. she tried her best to dig deep and drudge up some kind of response other than a blank look.Â
on the other hand, she knew that she was privileged. fuse had gotten their first win about a year after their debut and had only known success ever since then. their name was always mentioned when people talked about the best girl groups in the industry present day, and she knew on some level that she took that for granted. anyone would if they allowed themselves to not stop and appreciate what they had.Â
comforting people had never been her strongest suit, but she gave it an honest try. reaching out a hand, she lightly patted eunahâs hand. âitâll be okay. everythingâs going to be okay.â that was a good start, right? âthis life.. itâs quite literally the life of the unknown. itâs a fifty-fifty chance to your next song doing well, but you know what? that doesnât solely reflect on your or your group. thereâs so many different factors to what makes a successful song.. you just have to put your best foot forward, work your ass off and let the chips fall where they may. panicking over something you canât control will only set you up for failure.âÂ

fmdsan·:
one month. the songâs were completed and theyâd film the music videos this week. and now it was time to put the feelers out for the album. he had chosen a pretty simple restaurant for this, the place wasnât too busy and it did pretty good at making sure the people who entered didnât fawn or interrupt idols. something he was thankful for. âheyâ he looked up when he saw a shadow pass, nodding his head at the fellow idol who joined him.Â
âweâll be here for a bit, so order whatever you want.â he grinned, plugging his earphones into his phone and offering a one of the earbuds to the other. âwe finally have the entire album completed and i want to get some feedback before it comes out.â and then he saw one of the waiters and waved them over. âlike i said, whatever you want.â
namjoo wouldnât consider herself to be a musical genius or anything of the sort, but with it being her seventh year in the idol industry and with three years of idol training prior to that, she figured that she had built up enough knowledge to give good input on songs. when san had asked her to give him some feedback on the songs he had recorded and completed for his next project, she had agreed without much trouble. she was an honest and upfront woman, so he was guaranteed a truthful and unbiased perspective from her.
âhello,â she greeted politely, bowing her head a little bit on his direction before settling down in her seat across from him. she shrugged out of her fur coat, shivering from the drastic change in temperature from outside to inside. âwhat do you suggest? i donât think iâve eaten here before.â she reached for the menu with one hand while the other took the earbud offered to her, tucking it into her ear.Â

hi everyone !! jo here, with my ice queen namjoo, aka lia, aka the leader, main rapper, lead dancer and vocal of fuse !! please check out her profile and plots, and if anything catches your eye donât hesitate to reach out to me in regards to plotting. you can slide into my dms, or you can add me on dis-cord at yoo jeongyeon's maid#4903 !!Â
background.
born and raised in seoul, south korea. her father is a director and producer while her mother is an actress, but she doesnât really use them in order to get ahead in life. she wants to be an actress, but she wants to do it through hard work, not due to her parentsâ names.
she was apart of a commercial when she was five years old, and what little she remembers from the experience is that she loved being on camera, which is what sparked her love of acting. unfortunately her acting career to grow from there.Â
at the age of fourteen, she moved to the states with one of her aunts in order to attend school. it was the same school her parents went to when they were younger, and it was the same school her younger siblings would be enrolled in when they entered high school. namjoo stayed there for four years, graduating in the top five percent of her class, before moving back to seoul so she could pick up where her five year old self left off.
through her parents she made connections with other people in the industry, which was how she landed an audition at gold star media. she originally wanted to be an actress, but when she was told that being an idol could help pave her way towards being an actress, she decided to go with it. her parents werenât crazy about the idea because they look down on idols and think that the career path holds no longevity. namjoo agrees in a sense, but she went through with it anyway
her selling points to gold star media were her visuals, her acting ability, and the fact that she could just barely carry a tune in a rusty bucket. she became a trainee at the age of 19 and worked her ass off to build up her skills. she knew, and still knows, that sheâs not the best at any of her positions, but sheâd be damned if people tell her she didnât work hard. even though sheâs the main rapper of her group, she doesnât consider herself a rapper, just someone who raps (shoutout to my manâs jackson for the quote lol)Â
she liked being an idol at first, it was fun performing and all that jazz, but she didnât and still doesnât love it as much as her members who want to be idols or her idol peers. she tries not to make it obvious, but if you pay close attention you can tell that sheâs not as passionate as others.Â
when they hit it big with red flavor, namjoo took that as her go ahead to start advocating for an acting debut for herself. gold star granted her wish by allowing her to take on supporting roles over the last few years. however, that really isnât enough for her anymore. with fuseâs comebacks becoming less and less frequent, she wants to start building her own brand. however, gold star isnât exactly being supportive in her endeavors.
sheâs growing more and more impatient, and she canât help but feel resentful towards gold star about the complete disregard of her wants.Â
acting career.Â
cha yeojung, supporting role, while you were sleeping, 2017Â
kim hyena, supporting role, sky castle, 2018-19
jeong saha, supporting role, start-up, 2020
personality.
namjoo can appear as rather cold and distant. her parents raised her to be a class act at all times; proper posture, formal speaking, always polite. sheâs very polite, but it can come across as fake because of how she carries herself. itâs not that she thinks that sheâs better than everyone else, itâs just that she knows her worth and knows that she deserves the best. if someone isnât offering her the best, then theyâre wasting her time.
in all actuality, namjoo isnât cold, just distant. she doesnât consider herself to be a people person and would much rather be in the solitude of her own home than anything. however when sheâs in the company of other people, she tries to have fun and not bring the mood down. sheâs great when it comes to pretending to have fun, mostly due to the fact that sheâs a good actress.
growing up, namjooâs parents engraved in her mind the importance of her beauty and good looks. to the point where she fears losing her beauty. one of her biggest fears is getting old, something her close friends tell her is ridiculous because she already looks younger than she is, but itâs always something that lingers in the back of her mind. whenever she looks in the mirror, she can hear the whisper of her motherâs voice, telling her that she should put on a little bit extra makeup, or that she should check for any unwanted wrinkles or fine lines.
