Bringing Books Back to Life: The Windhover Project
Join panelists Lucy Synk and Jan S. Gephardt of Weird Sisters Publishing LLC as they present their panel Bringing Books Back to Life: The Windhover Project at 2pm on Saturday, October 5th, in Salon 1 in the Gateway Convention Center!
Weird Sisters Publishing recently received a legacy: the intellectual property rights to the literary estate of science fiction writer Warren C. Norwood. With thousands of books published each day, they were faced with the question of how to breathe new life into these decades-old books, to make them appealing to modern readers. Artist/Illustrator Lucy A. Synk and Publisher/Art Director Jan S. Gephardt put their heads together and developed a plan for an illustrated revival of Norwood's series The Windhover Tapes, now known as The Windhover Tetralogy. You're invited to attend this panel to learn how they're making this exciting creative venture possible!
