like imagine being separated from your lover for 13 years after one of you turned into a giant mutant who then was mind controlled by the white woman who wants your whole family dead including your son and your daughter because all you wanted was to live on the surface peacefully with your family without influencing the genocide of mutant kind, and that when you got separated, you didn't get to give a proper goodbye to your spouse and your kids and you spent those 13 years thinking you'll never get to see them again, and you never got to see them grow up, you never got the chance raise them

and that the one who stayed human had to spend years wondering if you'd ever see your lover again, and then you feel guilty for the entire situation because you left your son behind thinking it would save you and your daughter and that there was too much going on (even though you still could've went back for him) but it actually turned your son into a deranged monarch who occasionally was mind controlling your lover that turned into a giant mutant and who influenced an entire population into following him, and you had to convince your daughter her whole life that her mother died from a disease that didn't exist, to then having to raise your half-mutant daughter alone

and then you both realize the life you planned for on the surface was taken from you until 13-18 years later when your daughter is almost fully grown and your son is now dead after sacrificing himself to save your daughter/his little sister from the woman who not only wanted to kill your whole family but also killed her own brother and wanted to kill an entire population

wanted to talk ab this little detail in this scene that i find Sad

ragatha’s first instinct here was to panic and brace herself for some kind of verbal backlash because of the outburst earlier. pomni didn’t even sound mad or irritated in her delivery, but ragatha’s expression still 100% reads “she must be upset with me for yelling”

whoever said that her feigned optimism is a fawn response instead of toxic positivity hit the nail Right on the head i think.

being a ragatha fan and a jax fan at the same time is like death

i understand both of them and i feel really bad for both of them

ragatha has to witness the person she's been trying to be friends with since day 1 become best friends with her enemy, which leaves her ending up alone, and that she feels if she isn't constantly happy and acts like a jerk sometimes, that she'll remind herself of her own mother who left her traumatized.

jax lost his only friend in the circus and he became closer with the newest member of the circus who possibly reminds him of the person he lost, which can most definitely cause flashbacks for him or make him feel more vulnerable, what he tries to avoid, because he doesn't want to get attached to someone he's gonna lose.

both of them are losing their minds further and further.

why cant everyone just hug and hold hands ffs.

Can you just imagine how awful Ragatha feel herself? She's trying to make basic friendship with Jax for YEARS. And instead of her, who was here literally from the very beginning, he chooses Pomni. AND POMNI ACCEPTS HIM AND IN THE END RAGATHA JUST STAYS ALONE

And no i didnt say Pomni just told to Ragatha to fuck off and now shes a besties with Jax. But just the fact shes able to built normal relations with this person that she herself just cant reach.. ugh

And I don't even know which one is worse for me

That shes the third wheel in their original pilot trio

That Pomni's relations with Jax is progressing better than hers

Or that she's just trying to fit in but failing miserably and being left alone by EVERYONE

I hope it’s okay that I’m reaching out. My name is Rola, and I’m a mother of two from Gaza. Life used to be simple—filled with laughter, home-cooked meals, walks with my children, and ice cream on weekends. But since October, everything has changed.
