Pietro's own heart ached as he looked upon his precious daughter, her small hands clutching at his jacket as if she could physically prevent him from leaving. " Luna, my dearest, " he said softly, kneeling down to be at her level, voice caught as he spoke, betraying his own anguish at their impending separation, " I know this is difficult. But you must be brave. " He brushed a stray curl from her face, tucking it tenderly behind her ear, his own eyes glistening with unshed tears. " I don't want to leave you either. If I could, I would stay here with you forever. But I have responsibilities, duties I cannot ignore, no matter how much I may wish to. " Or rather -- his presence at the Moon would evoke more attention than he desired.

For now, all he could do was savor these final bittersweet moments with her, and pray that the separation would not be a long one.

The movements were slow and controlled simply in an attempt to keep his temper in check, forcing back the annoyance of having his peace and quiet interrupted in such a way.

"I don't actually need that one to keep going. All you're actually doing right now is giving me the chance to practice with a moving target." As much as hitting the tip of Pietro's hair would be impossible to some, it was as close to an actual challenge as it could get for him and for that, he found himself grateful for it.

"Last chance to change your mind, Speedy." The bow was raised and bow was raised as he anchored the arrow, aim carefully taken. "I don't mind giving you a hair cut but I want no complaints if I take too much off."

Steve was going to kill him. Wanda too.

They'd opted to call him, desperate for some kind of interaction that wasn't about Jean fucking Grey. Morph wasn't as fast as Quicksilver but Pietro could run at their speed while in his form. It would be better than sitting around here watching his best friend once again go after a married woman.

They adjusted their hold on the phone, letting out a dramatic sigh. "It is boring here. Like gag me with a spoon."

Morph's call was detected in time and picked up, " Morph? " Today he seemed to be consecrated into internal melodramas and his curiosity perked.

Love is a fickle mistress for who imagination is a powerful tool just nothing less than a servant. Pietro ( although not seemingly so at the first sight ) under veil of thick layers was a possessive man who was prone to likely grit teeth at the imagination of someone courting ( either ex-wife while still together or any other ) objects of his interest. Despite Morph's concern about his friend -- which was admirably genuine, but Logan was Logan; apparently lost in his own world, mooning. Either blinded or ignorant by certain things that trespassed the norm.

If he had to insight a little bit into the mutation - he was a feral, and ferals had minimal remorse, relationships included, they were linked to nature and nature takes what it wants, at least from what he observed from Creed, though he still wouldn't dropkick the two into the same sandbag. Despite the understanding of the internal fight Logan had with himself, the Romani hardly had understanding how Cyclops could be so patient with him. But again, the Magnusson was the last person to talk about psychological obsession or act over it, nope. But with how unamused tone of his friend on the other side of line seemed ... Pietro wouldn't bring it up, not first, not unless Morph wanted to.

" Next time we can hit Paris, too I heard the pastries are to die for. Now, if lasagna's on the menu I would welcome a good one, " he grinned, " ya dressed? Or should I wait for five minutes? "

ADAPTATION DISCLAIMER.

this interpretation follows most XCU canons which makes him a mutant-born, more moody, temperamental, and manipulative than MCU depicts him, though willing in pursuit of self-improval and how to be a better man after leaving the brotherhood. I follow with delight Peyer's Quicksilver - '97 and other oldie-goldies but ofc you're welcome to pick your own forte ( verses ) !

PHYSIQUE: in terms of visuals he physically strongly resembles his biological father Magento ( silver hair, blue eyes, etc. as depicted in his first appearance Uncanny X-Men #4 March 1964 ) despite their personalities being nothing alike. Please, respect this. FAMILY: absolutely under no circumstances I shall write incestuous couple with any members of his family, this goes without saying. I might rb contra-parallel musing including Lannisters ( spec. Jamie ) as a crack alt for House of M but it has nothing to do with any suggestive ref, so don't even assume that. CRYSTAL: I don't ship Crystal with Pietro and am generally not interested in writing / exploring this dynamic as a ship tho I might stick with adaptation of him being enamored by his ex-wife solely for the sake of canon. After their marriage is annulled by the Inhuman law he is fairly over her, realizing with time how toxic their dynamic was and how their separation was for the best. SEXUALITY: fairly bisexual ( male-lean ), tho purposely kept from the public eye in order to hide sensitive information from his enemies bc duh he has everlasting paranoia, the only person who knows such detail about him is Wanda ( who was kinda aware all those years, even when he acted to be all closet ), and Lorna, plus obviously his male lovers unless plotted otherwise, other muses are ofc welcome to act accordingly, discover information and use in SLs as pleased.
