He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:29-31)
Lord Jesus, You are my only hope and my strength. I am weak and tired; give me Your strength. On my own I am powerless against the things I am facing today. But you are strong on my behalf. Thank You for Your gracious patience. I wait upon You. I put my expectations in You. I know You are able to carry me through. I need Your grace which is sufficient for me, in Your name I ask, Amen.

Turn my eyes away from worthless things. Give me a new life in Your ways.
Psalm 119:37
Very often, we focus on trivial matters and get worked up and stressed. We spend too much time and energy bikering over things that are not important.
Life is too short to waste time on worthless things. We need to shift our focus on what is truly worthwhile. The greatest fulfillment comes as we follow Jesus. What is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
PRAYER: Lord, I don't want to be distracted by things that have no eternal value. May my heart and my desire be to follow Your ways. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

I thank my God every time I remember you. In every prayer for all of you, I always pray with joy. Philippians 1:3-4
How often we say " I will pray for you" and never keep that promise. Praying for someone is not just a quick "Lord bless so and so...", It is praying till you see them get their breakthrough.
In all the desert seasons of my life, it was the fervent prayers of my dear family and friends that sustained us. If not for their prayers and encouragement we as a family would have drowned under the raging torrents.
If you don't have a burden to pray for others, ask the Holy Spirit to lay His burden in your heart. Prayer is the greatest gift we can give to the people we love and care for.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails. 1 CORINTHIANS 13:4-8
Lord, I am incapable of loving anyone with this kind of love. There's nothing good in me apart from You. I pray that You would pour Your amazing love into my heart. Help me to love others the way You love me. I know I don’t have it in me to do that on my own, but I also know Your Holy Spirit can fill me with Your love, and out of that abundant overflow, I can love those around me. Lord, You know what I am made of and how imperfect I am. Please work in and through me, remove bitterness, unforgiveness and hatred from my heart. I ask for a continual flow of Your presence and love in my life today and every day. Help me to have the kind of love for others that pleases You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

“ As the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So your God will rejoice over you.” Isaiah 62:5 If only we would realize how tender and how passionate our heavenly Father is towards us! How often we fail to run into His embrace, thinking He is ready to accuse us, ready to punish us for all our wrongdoings. But the Bible says,” As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him. For He knows how weak we are; He remembers we are only dust.”
He knows you are trying to please Him. He is pleased with you. He delights in you. He desires for you to come to Him. Go to Him child of God. Pour out your heart to Him, your failures, your successes and everything else in between. He is waiting for you, ready to listen to you and comfort you.

Matthew 6:34 'Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.'
For some of us, some kind of worry may be constantly in our minds. After all, it may seem there is so much to be worried about. From concerns about money, relationships and health...worry plagues us. But the antidote for worry is in Philippians 4:6–7 , "Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
The above verses are the most potent weapon against worry.
Yes, Jesus knows what we need now and when tomorrow comes, He will be there with grace to meet our every need.

In His presence, there is an exceeding joy that can’t be compared. It’s not found in the things we can acquire. It’s not found in the sports we watch. It’s not found in anything the world can offer.
His word says that in HIS presence is the fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).
How do you get into His presence? Just come to Him in prayer. Anytime you go before Jesus and pray, the Lord is near. When He is present, everything that seemed heavy becomes light. You sense His love, His power, His comfort, and His strength and finally- His joy.

The blood of Jesus Christ is of infinite value. The blood of Jesus Christ, the eternal Son, the Lamb of God, was poured out so that our acts of sin may be pardoned.
God's Word makes it clear that the life touched and tainted with sin is a forfeited life. The soul that sins shall die, because the Bible says that the wages of sin is death. The mystery that we will never fully understand is that God wanted to save our forfeited lives. So the blood of Jesus, the divine Saviour was shed on our behalf. The blood of Jesus washes us from all unrighteousness.
Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our sins, according to the riches of His grace.

Mark 10:49 Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.”
In the midst of the bustling crowds and the noisy activity and with Bartimaeus shouting louder and louder, Jesus stops!! Jesus did not overlook his cries, but Jesus stops, and gives attention to the blind man. Jesus hears your cry too. He inclines His ear when you call on Him.
Jesus was willing and prepared to stop all the activity, to deal with this blind beggar. This should be an encouragement to all of us. Jesus does not just stop, but He goes further and He calls him and heals him.
Today, call upon His name, He will come and help you. He's not too busy for you.

I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. Genesis 12:2
God delights in blessing His children. He blesses us so that we could be a source of blessing to others.
As a follower of Jesus Christ, every word you speak, every act of kindness you display, is a blessing to those around you. People notice the peace that exudes from you, not because everything is well with you but because Jesus has given you peace that passes all understanding. Your unshakable faith, your deep confidence in your Saviour, inspires people who come in contact with you.
You are blessed because Jesus is your life, your source and your all.
What an honour! What joy! How wonderful it is, that you are blessed to be a blessing!

John 14:1-3
Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God ; believe also in Me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where I am.
Don't be perturbed by the various trials you are going through. Jesus will be with you to the end. Do not lose hope.
Heaven is a real place. It's a place where we can live with our Lord forever and ever. There's no pain , no sorrow, no worry, no poverty, no sickness or worry there.
Paul describes this place in 1 Corinthians 2:9, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
What glorious hope for those who trust in Jesus!

When we live for “me, myself and I” and make it about our little family and circle of friends, life becomes meaningless. But when we reach out in Jesus’ name to those in need and their families and their children, to those who may be lonely; to someone who may be in the hospital, to a brother or sister who may be grieving the loss of a loved one; we find fulfillment and abundant life. Why? Because that’s the heart of God, and we are never more like Him than when our hearts go out.
“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
Hebrews 13:16

God calls Himself the Shepherd of His people, and His children are considered as a flock under His guidance and direction.
-He leads them out and in, so that they find pasture and safety. He knows where to feed them, and in the course of His grace and providence leads them in the way they should go. He watches over them and keeps them from being destroyed by ravenous beasts.
The LORD is my Shepherd; therefore, I shall not be in want. I shall lack nothing, because I have the best possible shepherd taking care of me. He makes me lie down in green pastures. (Psalm 23:1-2)
Our Shepherd leads and feeds us. Our Shepherd guards and guides us. Our Shepherd is good and gracious to us forever. It is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for the sheep and then rose again victorious over all our foes. With our Good Shepherd beside us, we have no evil to fear and every good to look forward to! Hallelujah!

One of life’s bitter truths is that we cannot change the past. Bad decisions always have bad consequences. But the good news is, you can change the future—with God’s help.
How do you do that? Seek God’s forgiveness for whatever you’ve done. Don’t let shame, or fear, or guilt, or anything else keep you from Christ. Jesus loves you and offers you forgiveness as a free gift—a gift He paid for with His own blood. No sin is beyond His forgiveness. Repent of your sin and turn away from it, start afresh with God's help.
Leave your burden of guilt and shame at the foot of the cross. Then ask God to help you walk with Him every day. He will lead you in the path of righteousness for His name’s sake. Psalm 23:3
