Hello! Could you do a Ghiaccio with a very affectionable S/O? ^^
【Ghiaccio】
There’s a part of him that hates your affection at first. He clicks his tongue each and every time you wrap your arms around him or cling onto him, but not once does he ever make an attempt to shake you off or push you away.
Should you withdraw your affection unexpectedly, he’d no doubt get upset, and more than a little irritated, “What’s your problem?! Do you want to hug me or not?!”
He grows used to your affectionate side more and more each time. He comes to expect him, and if he doesn’t get it, he won’t hesitate to question you.
Eventually, he’ll go out of his way to show affection to you, but much like the melting of an ice block, it’ll take time.

“fandoms are dying”
yeah well here’s a cool idea: start creating and start reblogging. leave nice comments to your favorite creators. send them prompts. start interacting with others. sounds wild, right? start it today. keep these fandoms alive.

Hi there ^.^ I've been reading some of your work and you're very talented ^.^ I was wondering if you'll be opening up matchups again someday?
Thank you for the kind words, and being completely honest, I’m not 100% sure about matchups.
I liked doing them, but I found I got overwhelmed very quickly.
Sorry ;-;

hey nat! i used to run a jojo scenario blog and i'd like to get back into it but i just feel so demotivated by how quiet the fandom seems to be? how do you cope with posting and not getting as much interaction as you used to? i know i should be writing mostly for myself but i can't help but want notes and interaction and validation too :(
hello anonymous friend!!! honestly i’ve noticed my dash has been very dead recently and it makes me sad so let me selfishly say you SHOULD run a jojo scenario blog, please return!!!
it has been very quiet, i guess because VA has stopped airing! i’m hoping that we’ll have a little surge when hopefully stone ocean is announced (which will hopefully be next months dfnbvgfn) and then more when it’s airing, as people catch up with what’s come before (hopefully people will also want to write and read for the GIRLS).
i can’t lie, the lack of interaction is demotivating! it’s not even really the lack of notes on my post, but one of the things that’s made me sad is idk anons not really being around anymore? i used to log onto 10+ messages every day. it’s DEFINITELY made me appreciate the ones i do get more then - i know i’m lucky to have been around for a Long Time and to have been a fairly well-known content creator and i definitely didn’t appreciate that as much as i should have! that being said, i’d be happy if the amount of notes on my posts halved if people replied to my work or left tags if they reblogged it!
i’m a super introverted and shy person so i struggle reaching out but honestly reaching out and making friends is the best part of writing for a fandom!! i’m trying to be a lot more shameless and embarrassing this year. i think it’s a good idea. (also lmk if you do start writing again so i can shamelessly hype you up fgbjkfngbkj)

I know people have their differences but don’t come into my inbox about human rights being political. Fuck off with that.
Asian Americans (I can’t speak for other countries and nor do I want to speak over Asian Americans) have been through literal hell but more so since last year. Lives have been lost damn it! Elders are being attacked!
And if you think speaking against those injustices and atrocities are political, then literally fuck off. People’s safety and their lives aren’t political, they’re human rights.
All of this because of single reblog. I know it’s probably just a single person but I want to make it clear that racism, bigotry, ignorance, transphobia, homophobia, antisemetism, islamaphobia, xenophobia, are not welcomed here, never have they been and never will they be welcomed here.
If you want to be a piece of shit and come after someone, come after me because I’ll say something, never do I want to see ignorant BS in my inbox again.

An s/o shopping at the mall (and being a member of la Squadra themselves) running into each prospective member as the s/o is shopping for something embarrassing. thank you!! <3
Sorry about the wait, please enjoy
【Risotto】
He’s not fond of going to the mall. It’s too open, and it’s swarming with people. He tries to keep his trips short and sweet, going in to buy what he needs, and then get out. No loitering around. He’s fortunate that he rarely - if ever, bumps into anyone from the Mafia, but anyone that sees him knows better than the run their mouth. You, are rather different in that regard.
He notices you sheepishly leaving a store, one he never paid much attention to, “(Y/N)? I thought you were staying home today?”, Risotto made no sound as he approached, the shock causing you to almost scream in terror, like you’d been caught doing something you shouldn’t have been - well, technically speaking, you were.
His eyes wander over the mysterious bag, as you clutch it tightly. He so desperately wants to take a look, but seeing as you’re flustered, he lets it slide, despite being able to put two-and-two together by simply looking at the store you just left.
【Ghiaccio】
Another one that despises the mall, but happens to be way more vocal about it. Passing strangers that get in his way, or children causing a scene are the ones most at risk of suffering from his wrath. Even the security guards don’t bother trying to escort him out of the mall anymore - it’s simply not worth it.
Ghiaccio stomps about the mall, complaining loudly to himself about how stupid some of the slogans are, especially ones that include a pun of sorts. He almost doesn’t notice you at first, at least until you try to swiftly leave his field of vision. Alas, Ghiaccio is faster than you.
“(Y/N), why are you here?!”, he seems the most flustered, despite him calling you out, “I’m just shopping,” you smile, in hopes that flimsy excuse works. It does not, and before you can even protest, he practically rips the bag out of your hand to look inside; a choice he regrets not more than a second later.
【Melone】
He usually does all his shopping online - preferring convince over quality. On the rare occasion he ventures out to the mall, he spends most of his time sat idly in the food court, simply watching people go by.
During this, he happens to see your familiar face, and calls out to you. Melone certainly wasn’t expecting the deer in the headlights look he got as a response from his dear, but when he happened to see your bag, he understood everything.
Melone sits there with a sinister smirk as you race off home. It won’t be too long before Melone accompanies you.
【Pesci】
He doesn’t like going the mall alone. He’s fine if it’s with you or Prosciutto, but being alone just makes him anxious, and worry that people are watching his every move as he goes about the mall trying to get what he needs as quickly as he can.
He spots you leaving a shoot hat he usually pays no mind to. He still doesn’t take much interest in it as he scurries over you, almost frightening the life out of you as you try to hide your bag from him.
He’ll ask what you bought, and your answer of, “I’ll show you when we get home”, is more than enough to satisfy his curiosity. He’s just happy to not have to shop alone.
【Prosciutto】
He goes the mall quite frequently, mainly to browse, while he buys what he needs, but there’s a small café there he’s fond of. He usually sits for a while to enjoy a cup of coffee before he heads off.
He keeps a watchful eye for any danger, but what he doesn’t expect to see is you. He remembers you very clearly saying you were spending your day off at home, and finishes his coffee quickly so he can interrogate you.
You’re just as shocked to see him, especially when he grabs your hand in his own, trying to go for the bag you’re so desperate to keep out of his grasp. He’s curious now, but if you wish to keep it hidden, he’ll wait until you’re home.
【Illuso】
He spends a fair amount of time at the mall, mainly to people watch, but he’s sometimes placed there instead of the airport when it comes to work - not that he minds either way.
He had a feeling he’d find you here today, feeling incredibly smug when he’s proven right, seeing you exit a shop with an incredibly interesting bag.
He observes you for a moment, before he decides to approach, mainly with the intention to tease you, but he’s still rather happy he ran into you here. It beats having to wait until you’re both back home.
【Formaggio】
Doesn’t particularly like the mall, but he doesn’t hate it either. It’s convenient for sure, but it’s always crowded and loud. Still, he’s really only there for the pet shop, picking up his usual cat food along with some new toys.
He didn’t even notice you until the nearly knocked you over, stopping his apology when he got a look at you, “(Y/N)? What are you doing here? I said I’d get the cat food,” he smiles, until he notices your bag.
He’s the curious type, and can’t resist trying to look inside, or take the bag away from you, just to tease you a little, he at least tries to be subtle by offering to carry it.

i do not post a lot of anon hate i get. if i had been sent those messages at a less delicate time, they would probably have just been deleted. anon hate sucks at any time but if i wasn’t supported by haz* (who was quarantining in another room prior to a medical procedure so wasn’t available for physical reassurance or physically restraining me as she has in the past) those could very well have been a tipping point for me.
i am a real person. i know that is a surprise to a lot of anon hate!! i am a real person with a real life and actual thoughts and feelings and difficulties. you do not have to like me; you can block nat.txt for my personal posts. you can block me. i LOVE having my anon open; i love people feeling like they can come to my box and confess things. i do not love deleting hate messages in the morning. i don’t like posting personal things on my blog - and i know i’m a jojo writing blog but it’s still MY blog! - and being told to shut the fuck up and write more ‘jack off material’.
there are real people behind your screens making your content. i see a lot of complaints that the amount of content and the speed at which it’s coming out is dropping; if you’d remember we are real people with real feelings and real lives, maybe we would make more of it and want to be around more.

The Tumblr writing community is dying.
Tumblr media
It’s something I’ve noticed over the past two years of using this site. It was gradual, imperceptible at first, something that most would brush off as a silly concern, or fault Tumblr algorithm for. While it’s true that Tumblr’s engine leaves a lot to be desired, I’ve noticed that even popular blogs have started to dwindle in terms of interaction or motivation. There could be a lot of reasons for this, but the biggest two I’ve noticed, experienced myself, and asked fellow writers about is this: (1) content being stolen, and (2) lack of feedback or interaction. I’ve never seen any logical person defend content being stolen, so I want to address point 2 instead.
Lack of feedback and interaction. I’m not saying this on my behalf so much as I’m saying this for friends and smaller blogs who have lost motivation to write. I was looking at my yandere writing blogs list the other day and noticed that a good majority of them no longer write. I usually update the list every few months, and by that point, more and more writers have stopped writing entirely. This isn’t a problem confined solely to the yandere fandom; in fact, there’s less writing blogs in general these days, especially ones that are active. I used to run a very popular BNHA blog with some friends, but that dissolved after our content was stolen and our followers stopped interacting as much. Out of our 8,500 followers, we hardly got 0.015% notes (~128 notes) on an average post. Tumblr is to blame for the lack of eyes seeing our posts, for sure, but that also means that at least 128 people saw one post and didn’t leave a comment or ask. We were considered a big blog; imagine what it’s like on a small blog.
My friend recently made a post that summed this up perfectly:
“I’ve seen people say “Be grateful that people even lurk on your page.” and, while I get the message they’re trying to say, it’s more dismissive and hurtful in my opinion. Like you’re saying, “Oh your writing is mediocre, you should be grateful people even LOOK at it.”
Me personally? I’ve heard the argument that AO3 is a better place to post fanfics, and while that might be true, I’ve had friends experience firsthand the lack of interaction there too. I’ve heard the argument that interacting with some writers is intimidating (me included). I’ve heard that argument that followers might be too shy to interact. I’ve heard the argument that writers should write for themselves and not for views / likes / reblogs / etc, and while that’s ideal, it’s not sustainable for everyone. What works for one writer won’t work for another, but you know what will? Interaction.
That comment or ask that took you 2 seconds to write? We remember it. That reblog with the compliments in the tags? We remember it. Every single ‘named’ anon we get (heart anon, sunflower anon, etc)? We remember them. And the best part is? It’s actually easier to do these things on Tumblr since you have the option to send anonymous asks or make a sideblog specifically for reblogs! Trust me, whether the lack of interaction is the cause of a lack of motivation or what have you, every writer appreciates feedback (don’t be shy to offer some critique or compliments) or even a simple keyboard smash with some emojis. Even sitting down for 5 min a day per week to comment on your favorite writers’ new pieces makes a huge difference. Personally, since Tumblr’s activity feed is beyond terrible and I have over 1,500 posts, I don’t always see new reblogs or comments on my content; asks though? Always see those, can never go wrong with those. If you don’t want to reblog or leave a comment, then you can never go wrong with an anonymous ask.
As my wise friend says: writing is an art, and in order to improve that art, we need other people’s eyes to see what we don’t.

friends i appreciate your concern and anger but i am not going to post any more anons about entitled writers/fake fans. if my position personally wasn’t clear:
i do not like “gatekeeping” in fandom. i don’t believe in “fake fans”. i want content creators to create content that they enjoy making and are proud of and don’t want them to push themselves because it’s what is expected of them. it is sad to see a writer you like move on; but i am glad for their new fandoms to get more content and talent. writers and content creators do not owe you anything; they post their content (sometimes novel length, sometimes sad or funny or wonderful) for free for you to enjoy, and i think that’s wonderful. if you want writers to stay in the fandom, interact and feed back - but even then, sometimes people just move on, and that’s normal.
more than anything i want people to be happy with what they’re creating and have a good time in fandom, and that’s more important to me than any 100k plus words of fanfiction.

I can’t believe it, I’m a fake fan because I have other interests ;-; /s
Seriously though, your entitlement is shining through. Speaking as someone that writes for other fandoms, JoJo still holds a very special place in my heart. I owe a lot to the series and it’s fandom - hell its how I became friends with Nat and Haz to start off with, along with many more people that even today I still talk to often and have fond memories with.
I never really went into why I started writing for other fandoms, but this anon is an example; an entitled fan that treats writers like we’re not human, and are only here to post our writings - hell I used to get the occasional anon in my box saying some pretty salty shit when I would dare post a picture of Monomi or literally anything that wasn’t JoJo or writing related.
Bottom line, if you care so fucking much about writers leaving the fandom, actully interact with them and give them feedback. I know a few whom left and deleted their blogs said that the main reason they left was because of the lack of interactions - instead getting asked and often told to just write.
*SiPs TeA*
That’s just my opinion though, doesn’t mean much
Whats ur opinion on writing blogs leaving the jojo fandom to write for new fandoms? It really annoys me *sips tea* cuz they’ll probs come crawling back when part 6 gets its anime and act like they been real fans
honestly? i don’t mind at all. i want people in the fandom because they care about it and enjoy it! i don’t want people to force out content because it’s what is expected of them, especially if the muse has them moving onto other things. i’m personally kind of hyper fixated on jojo even now - i cling to things even after other people move on (the only other fandom i’ve written for since i started writing fanfic again is overwatch).
my own unpopular opinion: i really do feel like you can tell if people aren’t enjoying what they’re writing; quality really does take a nosedive and it can be unenjoyable and awkward for readers to read too! i’ve read things by other writers and thought “oh, wow, this isn’t good or like them” - and they’ve quit jojo fandom in their next few posts. readers can tell. but personally i want other writers to write things they like and have fun. it’s ok if you’re upset your favourite writer has moved on; it’s not okay to harass and be rude directly and vague post and stuff, you know? they should do what’s best for them!
and if part six reignites their love and interest in jojo i’ll be glad to welcome them back and hope some jojo girls get some love!
