Blake slid over in the seat, more than happy to make a spot for the girl she cared for so much. “By you, it is,” she answered with a smile. “I’m surprised. I didn’t think parties were really your scene.”

Aria was grateful that it was Blake the one she had found at the party and she knew that her parents would be happy that there was someone there that would keep an eye on her. “Thank you!” She replied with a smile and quickly sat down next to Blake. “They’re not, but apparently some friends were coming and now they are nowhere to be found.” She replied with a smile. “Are you enjoying the party?”

Liam nodded slowly. “Well I brought some water and soda here for myself just in case they didn’t have it. If you want some of it, just let me know.” He explained to Aria. Liam was already having a hard time being around this type of crowd, but it was easier being around Aria who wasn’t drinking. He let out a sigh of relief. “Uh– I mean I used to. Not so much anymore.” Liam said. “I don’t have as much fun at parties as I used to. I guess it’s just not really my scene.” He explained. Well it was, but it shouldn’t be. It was more tempting for him to be here. “What about you? Do you normally go to parties?” 

“Oh... okay thank you.” she didn’t say much else mostly because she didn’t quite understand why he had brought his own drinks when clearly there would be drinks there. Though, the drinks he mentioned had been non-alcoholic so maybe that was why. Aria shook her head pushing the thoughts away, she didn’t need to sit thinking of all those things. “Why not? Are you just growing out of it? My mom says that that happened to her.” Aria shrugged. “I like parties... like as a concept they sound nice but things are always so intense. I think I prefer a smaller get together.”

Medusa: Have you ever been punished with anything you feel you didn’t deserve?

Of course! I’m a teenager and also a toddler, I’m constantly doing things that get me punished which I feel was not deserved. Like once my friend and I broke in to the school and freed the class’ mascot because we believe that it needed to be free and not in a cage... my parents did not agree.

Liam glanced up when he heard Aria speak and he shook his head. “No, of course not.” He said and then patted the seat near him. “Go ahead and sit down. I don’t bite.” He smirked. Liam then grabbed his red solo cup that was filled with coke and pulled it towards him, tapping it with his fingers as he did so. “Do you want a drink? I can go get you one if you’d like?”

Aria smiled at Liam grateful that he hadn’t turned her away. “Thanks she said as she sat next to him. “Oh I’m okay, thank you though.” She didn’t know what he was drinking and she had never had alcohol before, not that she thought he would trick her in to drinking some she was just not thirsty at the moment. “Have you been to many parties?” She asked trying to make conversation and not just sit there in awkward silence.

Parties were not really her thing, but she wanted to see her friends and figured that most would be there. Aria made her way through the crowd trying to find a quieter place to sit. “Is uh is this seat taken?” She asked when she finally made her way to the dining room.

“Yeah thought it was about time i got out of the house and spent time with some people.” she’d chuckle to herself. “Yeah, my mum was a doctor.” she’d smile softly before running a hand through her hair. “I think i just want to be a general surgeon.” she’d shrug her shoulders at all the questions. 

“Getting out is good, I try to get out more... but it isn’t always easy.” She said with a smile and a shrug. “Oh...” Aria pressed her lips together when she heard the word was. “Well, I’m sure you will be great!”

“Exactly, look at the positives of the experience.” she’d smile fondly at the other. “I recently enrolled to become a med student.” she’d chuckle softly. “I don’t know why i did it, maybe i thought it would bring me closer to my mum in some sense.” she’d shrug her shoulders.

Aria’s eyes grew wide with curiosity and excitement. “Did you really?” She asked as she leaned in a bit closer as if to hear her better. “How is that going? Is your mom a doctor? What kind of doctor do you want to be?” She hardly paused between questions.

“Sometimes possibly…” she’d smile softly at the other, Crystal remembered watching Aria grow up and spending time at the house. One of Daniels many attempts to babysit. “I’m sure you’ll figure it out eventually… You’re a smart girl anything possible.” she’d grin at the other. “Everything’s messy before its good right? part of the process like a cake. the batter is messy but the end product is pretty good.”

Aria had always liked Crystal and she was glad that her relationship with Danny didn’t ruin her relationship with the brunette. While Aria wasn’t the biggest fan of cake she did enjoy baking from time to time and Crystal was right. “You make a good point, before everything comes nicely together it’s just a mess.” Aria said with a soft chuckle. “What have you been up to?” She asked curiously.

Hearing Aria laugh, made Caleb laugh, but when he heard her snort it made him laugh so much he wheezily took in air. “Aria, no, no…” He said as she walked towards the paint can, but it was to late the paint was up in the air but he hadn’t expected was for aria to fall beside him. “You…had to go for the can.” He tried to say though laughter. “You need to stop laughing be I wheeze again”

It had been far too long since Aria had laughed so much or had this much fun. “I didn’t...” she tried to talk between fits of laughter. “I can’t” she finally managed to say before continuing to laugh. Aria turned to her side and wrapped her arms around herself, her sides hurting from laughing so much.

“Bring it Aria” He said as he tried to more away quickly but there was paint all over the fall. Caleb lost his footing on the now blue and orange floor leading with a thud. He managed to get to his knees and grabbed another paint bottle before he slipped again landing on his back squinting the paint at Aria.

“Oh it is on!” The young girl said but right before she could turn to grab a bottle of paint she watched as Caleb fell on the paint covered floor. Aria blinked a couple of times before letting out a loud laugh followed by a snort. Her laughter was cut short when paint squirted all over her. Aria grabbed the nearest can of paint and walked towards him only to fall next to him and throwing the paint all over them both. “Th...” she began to try to speak but was laughing way too much to get any sort of coherent words out.

Crystal chuckled softly at Aria. “He’s a smart boy.. Most of the time anyways.” She’d offer the other a kind smile before continuing. “How have you been.”

“I think he’s very smart...” Aria bit her bottom lip and shrugged “well sometimes.” She had been much younger when Crystal and Daniel broke up so she didn’t know the whole story, but she always wondered why they had ended. “I’ve been okay... I’m trying to merge my parents powers together but so far it has been a disaster.”
