Matilda:

Funny ant who became a real girl through the power of love and SO many chaos drives. She was once Shadow's pet ant who he rescued from being eaten by Knuckles. After being fed chaos drives, Matilda suddenly formed a chao-like chrysalis and mutated into a Mobian. She now is the youngest member of Team Dark, basically a little sister to all of them. Her main goal now is to train enough to become as strong as she can to one day beat the shit out of Knuckles as petty revenge.

Haunt:

He’s the son of Tangle and Whisper in my future au that takes place roughly 20 years after canon. While he looks almost identical to Whisper, he is very similar to Tangle in personality, being very extroverted and energetic. Whistle loves playing baseball, and Tails ended up making him a bat that can utilize the wisp’s powers, like the variable wispon. Whistle is very kind and polite, if a bit gullible. In his first encounter with Mimic, he ends up defeating the octopus with the use of an electric water kettle.

A character of little words, Jasper is someone who despite not having much to say, you can be sure of the fact they're listening if you need someone to talk to. Jasper has a tendency of looking bored or disinterested in general, but honestly they've just never been all that expressive as an individual. Living in a smaller town west of Capital City, their favourite activities seem to be sunbathing and taking care of their expansive cactus garden. They live with a dark chao that they raised from an egg, who's mischief knows no bounds and always keeps Jasper on their metaphorical toes.

Storm:

Storm is person that, despite his chaotic ways, wants to help make the world a better place. He believes it's the least he can do, since his low self esteem leads to him thinking of himself as a bad person. He was the driver of the GUN truck (yes, That truck), and took(stole) that thing with him as soon as he left GUN. Now he just tinkers with it whenever he feels like it, although his main interests are in tinkering with robotics like his prosthetic arm.

Carrion:

a trained assassin, proficient in all kinds of weapons and combat, but they stay silly. part of a trio of freelance postal workers/hitmen, delivering packages and “delivering packages” interchangeably. they keep the same expression almost always, and they don’t talk much but when they do it’s always a quip or something deeply off-putting that comes out of their mouth. doesn’t take much seriously, likes knives, scampers, will do anything to protect the easygoing life they now live with their two friends/coworkers/family, 16, silly.

Jolly:

she is a 9 year old dog, who is very excitable and loves candy. no one really knows where she came from! she loves to break into eggman's base to bother him, and no matter what he does, they always manage to break back in. she likes to steal his badniks and leave them for tails to make a cool robot out of, because they love robots so much.

Zori isn't a very good Zeti.

It's not for lack of trying, they've got their own code they live by, a warrior's spirit, strength and speed to spare, but they aren't good at being selfish, or cruel or spiteful really.

Granted, that might be because of the fact they got raised by a pack of Chao that saved them from some poachers, but even so, said group aren't the most moral bunch of Black Market Entrepreneurs.

Still, Zori's pretty happy with their found family, and have pretty much devoted themselves to protect any chao under their pack's protection, even if one of the main leaders of said pack wishes they'd be a little bit more self centered. But it's mostly because they're worried Zori will get themselves hurt or worse….

But for what it's worth, their family thinks they make a pretty good chao.

Byte is a programmer and mechanic who used to work for the Eggman Empire as a lead programmer and performing maintenance in the Badniks, nevertheless when they met Starline they got so fascinated for the platypus that they went after him once Eggman firing him, offering Starline their services as a software engineer.

He accepted and gave them the role of his personal assistant since he knew their capabilities due to the time they worked together in the Empire. He was kind of wary of Byte’s chaotic tendencies, but soon a great idea came to his mind; What a better way to understand the chaotic world he’s trying to control than having the chaos by his side?

Since then, Byte has been the chaotic and eccentric right-hand of the platypus, helping him in all of his tasks and missions to achieve his plan; Conquer the world for Dr. Eggman.

Byte is very playful, and mischievous, they like to play pranks on everyone, cause problems and chaos here and there and always manipulates the situation to get out of troubles without consequences. They're cheerful and very energetic, very eccentric and passionate, they're very dedicated to their interests and will do their best in completing their tasks. They also encourage others to cause troubles too.

They're determined, responsible and showing their full potential whenever the situation requires so, they're a good observer and knows how to analyze everything. They're very reliable when it comes to problem solving.

Ruby:

Ruby is a wolfdog cursed with a beastly form after they, along with their parents, were used to test the effects of Dark Gaia Energy on the mobian body and mind. Though their parents did not survive, they managed to escape and now live with a family of cats who've taken them in as one of their own. She has incredible strength and stamina, heightened senses of smell and hearing, and a sensitivity to Dark Gaia Energy in her environment. She can also take on a form resembling that of a Nightmare (and enemy from Sonic Unleashed) when put under extreme stress.

They are quiet and tend to keep to themselves, but are extremely loyal to those who manage to get close. Despite their appearance, they are empathetic and compassionate to a fault and don't like to take much space. They enjoy spending time in nature, frequenting their local Chao Garden, or working on crafts such as hand-made stuffed toys.

V is a GUN agent who works mostly in reconnaissance and forensics, and has studied a wide variety of disciplines in an attempt to learn to cure a heriditary illness he and his family all have. He has a flat affect, making it seem like he's always angry or annoyed, and he tries to avoid getting too invested in the people around him, but he can be incredibly loyal to anyone who takes time to get to know him. He's immortal and doesn't know it, which leads to very funny situations where he gets back up from things that definitely should've killed him and is furious about it.

Kaleival:

Kaleival is a chaotic energetic mobian aardwolf! Let's say that they can't stay still in a single place and will bite your ankle if called a shortie [she is short, smol even], she can be a little impatient and stubborn and act before thinking sometimes but still is a caring and attentive fella and friend

She mostly pass her time doing whatever waste her energy, sometimes she will suddenly feel sleepy and lay anywhere to sleep [or simply fall on the ground sleeping]

They have a clown vibe and style! So give any colorful and funky clothes for them and they will certainly wear it

Lil fun fact, due to they being a aardwolf they r a insectivore! They sometimes can be seen snacking on some fried insects :)

"Ghost" is a hedgehog hailing from the southern reaches of Shamar - He has spent most of his life in the desert, with one goal in mind; Raise Enough Rings to travel to Adabat, a more suited location for his best friend, Hapi, the swim chao. Ghost is a bit physically frail, he cannot run or climb, so instead, He sails across the sand dunes searching for Treasure (and adventure!) to the best of his abilities. The treasure he finds is sold back to the people of Shamar - so he spends his time in ancient ruins or being a delivery boy to save up any money he can manage for their dream.

This is, however, prolonged indefinitely; Ghost has a Curse. One that works against him at every turn. The people of Shamar are so afraid of what state the curse turns him into that the town gossip has nicknamed him "The Ghost" or "The Desert Phantom". He is effectively haunted - the curse changed his fur color from brown to white, and its hold on him gets stronger at night or when he is vulnerable/weak. He cannot control what happens during these outbursts.

He is somewhat Solitary, only coming and going when he needs to, but tries his best to be of help or kind to others when they need it. He's a sweetheart, as well as somewhat a dork, but ever since the curse, hes been a lot more stressed and represses a lot of his desires in order to keep it at bay, to prevent him from scaring, or possibly hurting others. He very obviously struggles with this, and tends to be alone more often. He really enjoys others company, though, so its been tough.

He eventually becomes friends with @theknifedance 's Ganymede, a hare who is studying at Spagonia University, abroad in Shamar for Astronomy - Leading Ghost down a new path; letting himself open up to making friends and accept help with his curse.

Petri:

Petri is a excitable and prideful Secretary under the tedious Eggman empire, hoping to one day climb the latter and prove her worth as a scientist and chemist! Although the doctor doesn’t seem to know she even exists.. Work pals with Orbot and Cubot, Petri takes whatever opportunities she can get to talk herself up. After tagging along during one of Eggman’s particularly explosive battles with the blue blur himself, Petri is fired after Eggman takes his sore loss out on her. Now with a newfound grudge towards Sonic, she’s set herself on a charge to get her job back, with the help of three detectives for hire. Catch is, she’ll need to help out around the office as an intern for the Chaotix if she wants to keep their trust
