Ari is a bisexual, nonbinary video editor/essayist. They have developed multiple OFMD and non-OFMD projects. Their OFMD fan-edited videos cover a range of genres, including music videos, fan-written cover songs (including some with lyrics by Ari).

They are a member of SOFMD, and have collaborated with other members in their work, including their recent fan song "Renew as a Crew: Act of Grace".

Notably they have done a documentary about the cancellation and the targeting of fan artists for copyright infringement by Warner Brothers. The documentary uses their fan-edit of OFMD in the style of the film “The Lighthouse” as an example and details the creative process and intensive effort that this project entailed to make the case for how fan artists transform the source material into something new and unique.

They also have video essays reflecting on a wide range of other media and topics, including critiques of interracial dating tropes in Netflix romcoms, cliches in film remakes, craft show competitions, live action talking animal movies, and kitchen gadget review shows.
