That issue of Girl Comics that opens with Logan bringing a fight to Jean and Scott, and Jean seemingly prioritizing Logan’s safety over Scott’s.

And then there’s this strange, off-beat moment where you come to understand nothing about this is quite real:

And it transitions into this beautiful moment between Scott and Jean where she’s reassuring him she loves him, and that she’s happy he’s comfortable sharing these insecurities with her.

EXCEPT LOGAN, AS YOU MIGHT NOTICE, IS LITERALLY STANDING THEREN WATCHING THEM? SORT OF UNDERCUTTING THIS ENTIRE CONVERSATION AND EXCHANGE? Made even worse by the fact the comic immediately ends like this:

Immediately contradicting itself. Like spicy food. Tasty and it hurts.
