â°Â VICTORIA BRIGHT â±ââ:
Victoria smiled condescendingly âYouâre young, dear. When youâve been around as long as I have itâs hard for anything to be more than just⊠a shame.â
She shook her head, tossing her golden curls back behind her shoulder with the gesture. âCertainly not, but I might have been able to run damage control faster.â
DEAR? CASSIUS HELD back a scoff. he knew the language of condescendence well â it was one that he himself spoke fluently. and it wasnât difficult to tell that she was condescending him. but he forced himself to meet her words head on, refusing to let his face betray his annoyance. instead he shrugged. stepped closer to victoria. he allowed his lips to curl downwards just a bit, but he kept his voice neutral when he said, âmaybe. but not everyone within earshot have lived as along as you. and with all due respect, miss bright, if youâre so old and wise, why hasnât damage control been done?â

â°Â PHILIP DWYERâ â±â:
the only thing genuine you would usually get out of philip was annoyance. on multiple ocassions, heâd been told he lacked any kind of emotions that wasnât on the anger spectrum. but tonight, oh tonight was different. tonight was a rare case of nights he looked forward to. the excitement was beaming out of the lone wolf, so much that it was almost overwhelming. there truly was nothing better to get him going than the prospect of a fight.
shoulders rolling, neck cracking, oh yeah, he was pumped up. the rush he got from good sports could never compare to anything else. maybe it was the reason why he always seemed to be stirring up trouble. or why he was often seen hanging around this very ring. whatever could get him that rush he always craved, he would do. and his entertainment for the night would come from cassius fulgora.
their fights were always ones for the ages. bids always rose high for that matchup, especially because of the unpredictability of the results. no one could tell who would come out a winner, not even the fighters themselves. very few people were able to handle philip, fewer willing to throwdown in a faceoff with him. but cassius never seemed to care, which made him philipâs worthiest opponent by a mile.
eyebrows raising up in response to the taunt, cheeky grin plastered over his face. â giving me favors isnât going to get you anywhere, fulgora. â he still gladly took the first steps, strong arm thrusting forward, the shifterâs chin set as a target for the initial blow of the evening. the hits were going to rain down onto both of them, so if he could get the opening ones, he would be an idiot to pass on it.Â
IT WASNâT ONLY THE FACT that philip was a popular fighter in the ring that attracted cassius to fights with him. yes, here, within a ring of fighters, despite his misgivings, you would be an utter fool to not admit that philip dwyer was a reputable fighter who knew he was excellent at what he did. but anyone who knew cassius and his love for fighting would know that despite his talks of glory and honor, nothing satisfied him more than an intense fight, one with good chemistry. one that called for a close call between him and his opponent.
and above anything else, philip could offer just exactly that.
it didnât matter that he fought dishonorably. the rush that cassius got from a round in the ring with philip was still exhilarating. some days, they could last forever in that ring, determined to not let it end in a draw. and that, to cassius, was the best kind of fighting.
he returned philipâs taunting grin with one of his own. he wasnât wrong â giving away the opportunity to land a first hit may just be the biggest mistake cassius would make in this fight. but if it didnât, it would only make victory taste even sweeter. and besides, cassius would be damned if he let philip score a punch at the start of the fight. he was better than that, and he knew it. this wouldnât cost him.
âmaybe, maybe not,â he retorted, having just barely enough time to speak those words before the wolfâs fist went flying at him. he dodged just in time, sweeping his leg forward as he aimed a kick at philip in retaliation. still, the force of the punch coming at him had taken cassius by surprise, and he allowed a tenth of a breath to recover before continuing on, âbut we both know you wouldâve never land that hit anyways.â
the smug look on his face was back. knees dropping to assume a fighting stance, he flashed another smirk at his opponentâs direction, before lifting both arms in front of his face â protecting it from the future punches that he knew was coming his way. âwanna try again? i dare you.â

â°Â MOON HANA â±ââ:
HANAâS HAND INSTINCTIVELY MOVED to cover cassiusâ own when he placed it over his heart. she wondered for a brief moment if he knew just how entirely she was his â how easily she melted at his words and touch, an experience she had never gone through before him. deep down she knew he must just as she knew that knowledge probably made him smug.Â
hana snatched the paper from his hand and set it back down onto her desk before turning back to him with a smirk. âand what would you have us do if we didnât go out on our date? would you take me home instead?â she questioned, knowing full well where he would take her.Â
THE GLEAM THERE IN HIS EYESÂ softened just a bit when hana leaned forward to place a hand over his heart. she knew exactly how to snare him in, how to wrap him around her fingers and get him to put his armor down just for her. for hana, melting his heart was an incredibly easy feat. briefly, he let a genuine and gentle smile touch his lips, but the soft look on his features morphed into something more playful once more at her words.
it was like a game between the two of them. it didnât matter that they both knew how much they meant to each other, how in their private moments they shared their most intimate thoughts with each other and gave their hearts to the other without reservation. anyone who looked closely enough would be able to see that even here, in public, playing their little game, their hearts belonged in each otherâs hands. but it was fun, to pretend that they were in it for the game, to play cat and mouse and tease the hell out of each other where everyone can see.
cassius grinned, taking hanaâs hand in his when she snatched the paper away from him. âare you not going to let me read your work?â then, letting go off her hand, he let his fingers creep up her arm, and finally rested them just under her chin. âyou and i both know the answer to that question, princess,â he responded smoothly, tilting her chin up to make her look at him. âiâd take you home and spoil you. first, iâll make you sit down while i make you dinner. then iâll let you kiss me all over my jaw before feeding you. then... well, you know the rest of the story.â
never mind that her entire office were right there watching it.

â°Â SONG YURI â±ââ:
â° CASSIUS FULGORA. â±â
⟠= being found shirtless.
WHEN YURI HAD COME INTO WORK THAT EVENING, the last thing she had expected to walk in on in the staff room was cassius fulgora in all his shirtless glory. she wrinkled her nose in disgust, freezing in her tracks by the doorway. âand just what is it that you hope to accomplish by standing shirtless in the middle of the employee break room? are you trying to blind me with your repulsive body?â
PRICKLING THE YOUNGER GIRL had became somewhat a hobby of his. unlike some people he knew, he harbored no hard feelings towards yuri, but the way she regarded him never seemed to fail to amuse cassius. and unfazed by her stare, he made no move to cover himself up and instead grinned down at her, responding with a, âi wasnât trying to accomplish anything. but if that did something... well, thatâs on you, isnât it?â he turned around, rummaging into his bag for a clean shirt, still unbothered by her words. while those words could be constructed as a flirtatious remark to some, he and yuri knew each other well enough to know it meant nothing of that sort. âbesides, shouldnât you be glad that the lack of a shirt means itâll be easier to sink a knife down my heart?â

â°Â CORDELIA TENNENBAUM â±ââ:
shrugging off his grip, she takes a step away from the dickhead sheâs been fighting with. heâd deserved it, every strike. dee didnât give a shit about the scene she was causing, or the guests enjoying themselves. she cared that he learned his lesson. from the bloody lip and broken nose, sheâd say he probably had. âfuck that-â the wolf growls, flexing her bruised fingers. âwasted enough energy on this crapsack.â hazel irises turn on the bartender, mischievous smile curving across her lips. âtequilaâs calling anyhow.â
PRYING HIS ARMS off the younger girl, cassius allowed himself to step back when she had shown that she wasnât planning to fly off on the man who started this again. arms folded over his chest, and gaze settled past the man and on the girlâs face now, he shrugged. âsuit yourself,â cassius said. if it were him, a release down at the fight ring would be exactly what he needed, but he didnât blame the girl for not wanting to pursue a fight with this asshole any further. âwell? what are you waiting for, then?â he hesitated. then, a smirk folded across his features to match hers. he might not be interested in buying her a drink, but who was to say that he couldnât put it on philip or yuriâs tab? âdrinkâs on the house. come on.â and with that, he headed back to the bar, certain that she was going to follow.

â°Â VICTORIA BRIGHT â±ââ:
Victoriaâs fingers dropped one-by-one onto the table top, tapping out a slow rhythm. Her free hand was being used to prop up her chin, occasionally tapping her pointer finger on her jaw. Hearing footsteps, she looked up to greet her company with a friendly smile.
âQuite the week weâve been having isnât it?â She asked conversationally, leaning towards them. âI mean, I go on one vacation and return to find that one of the Vanderbilts has been murdered! Such a shame isnât it?â
HE ALMOST LAUGHED. here he was, thinking that he had got no tack, and yet â he wouldnât ever attempt to start a conversation about a murder that casually. he allowed himself a snort, before turning his head to look at the woman sitting on the far end of the bar. he leaned against the side of the bar. his brows shot up. âa shame might just be an understatement,â cassius commented dryly. âwhat, donât tell me that you think you couldâve stopped the murder if you hadnât gone on vacation?â maybe that wasnât the best way to speak to a city council member, but hey, he couldnât have less tact than she did, right?â

â°Â CORDELIA TENNENBAUM â±ââ:
her knuckles are split, bruised. theyâll heal. his face will take longer. "next time keep your hands to yourself-â she hisses, lurching forward to take another swing. there is red behind her eyes, in her veins, thundering in her chest. red, everywhere. she wonât stop. and then a hand grips her shoulder, pulling her back. "hey !! get off, get off me-â
THERE WAS, CASSIUS DECIDED, when the best decision was to put a stop to the fight instead of revel in it. he left his post at the bar, â knowing full well that philip couldnât be counted on to stop a fight â glaring at both parties of the fight as he signaled someone to pull the man away while he pulled the woman back. âthe fight ringâs downstairs,â he said, voice firm. âif you want to take another swing at him, take it down there. beat him if up if you need to. but this, is for the guests to enjoy themselves.â and messy as the songs were, a full-blown fight on the dance floor was something he knew they wouldnât appreciate. after all, drunken men and a scene as this were never a good combination.

â°Â MOON HANA â±ââ:
ONCE HANA CAME TO WORK it was nearly impossible to pry her away from it. if there was one thing she prided herself on, it was her work ethic and she took her job very seriously; even if half of the paper was lies. she was hardly naĂŻve â sex and gossip sold best and most days lies were the only thing keeping the doors open. there was never an issue with being called a liar or manipulator â she knew what she did best.
cassius had a reputation for doing the unfeasible around the office, if only because he was the only person to date to successfully attract hana away from her desk. he was always a welcome distraction, and it was apparent to not only everyone at the fairview times, but quite possibly all of fairview, that hana viewed him in a different light from others.
wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling her body close to his, hana teased out, âmmm, i donât know if i have precious time to spare for you.â a smirk played on her lips mirroring his own. âbut i might make some if you say please and thank you.â
THERE WAS MIRTH in cassiusâ eyes when hana pulled him close. he couldnât help himself â he leaned in for a second kiss. he was never good at hiding any affection he felt for hana, not even when they were younger and they were nothing more than âjust friendsâ. now that they were older and together, he had made it an even bigger deal to make sure she knew just how fond he was of her. and if the gleam in his eyes and the kiss were not enough, there was also a grin playing across cassiusâ lips at the sight of hanaâs smirk.
âiâm hurt, moon,â he teased back, pulling away from hana to place a hand over his heart in mock hurt. if any of hanaâs employees were watching the charade that the two of them were playing, cassius didnât notice. his eyes were only for his girlfriend.Â

he grabbed a sheet of paper off hanaâs desk, skimming over it before going, âcome on, i wouldnât believe you if you said that this is more entertaining than i am.â then after a brief pause, he suggestively added, âor we could do something else thatâs more to your liking. anything other than you abandoning me to go on a date with your news.â

date: september 21, 09:30 pm. location: quarter moon fight ring.
THEY WERE TWO SIDES of the same coin. loathe as he was to admit it, cassius wasnât a fool. but being able to acknowledge it also meant that he was smart enough to understand that though they were similar on the surface, there were some very vital differences between him and philip dwyer.Â
the first, and perhaps most vital difference between them was the way they approached fighting. glory, honor â they were synonymous. that was the fulgora way. no matter how much he thirsted for punches, for blood, fighting always came with honor. with rules. winning came with respect, not with accusations. but philip held little honor to his fighting, allowing himself to get into brawls for the sake of it, and fighting just for the hell of it. it was part amusing, part baffling.
but none of that mattered tonight. it wasnât his job to analyze the way philip fought, or to judge with curled lips how there was no honor in his fighting â just pure brutality. after all, cassius himself was to be philipâs opponent for the night, despite all his codes of honor, heâd be damned if he was to lose to philip dwyer.
cassius snarled, teeth bared before a smug sneer replaced his white teeth. âcome on, dwyer. iâm giving you first hit,â he goaded. maybe if he pissed the other man enough he would have a chance at watching him slip up to score a win.

â°Â JACKSON CRANE â±â:
Cassius had a smart mouth that would land him in a lot of heat here if he didnât watch his tongue. The den was not known for itâs warm hospitality. Most of itâs clientele came here looking for drinks and fights, often finding themselves in a scarp outside his bar as fighting inside was prohibited. It cost too much to constantly be buying new bar stools and windows, so they parking lot was now used to settle disputes between patrons.Â
A low grumble left the Alphaâs lips as he sat down beside the shifter. His usual charm making Jack roll his eyes back into his skull while tossing his fingers up to order his regular beverage. âYou arenât my type.â His glare was cast at the remark that left him unimpressed. âEvery night is a good night, but with the cold coming in business has been steadily on the rise. The change of season brings in all types. Lots of humans looking for more than cold drinks.â
HE LAUGHED. even the glare jackson casted in his direction wasnât enough to drive cassius away. instead he watched the older man pick up his own drink, before casting his gaze around the bar. jackson was right â business at the den seemed to pick up. he was wrong, then, about assuming that the reason why the alpha frequented the ring because of a lack of business.
no matter the rivalry werewolves and shifters had, a part of him would always respect jackson. there was something to admire about someone who was steel enough to run a pack and a business. not to mention that jackson certainly knew how to hold out in a fight. there was a glint in his eyes when he shifted his gaze back to the man. âdonât worry, crane,â he said, amusement dripping on his tongue. âyouâve made it quite clear that iâm not really your type the last time you beat me up.â then, gesturing at the general environment of the den, he added, âmaybe weâll be losing business to you this season. i canât imagine haneul and natalia being happy about that.â

CASSIUS FULGORA ( CIS MALE & HE/HIM )? oh, arenât they the TWENTY-SEVEN year old SHAPESHIFTER who works as a BARTENDER at QUARTER MOON & ( PART-TIME ) PERSONAL TRAINER at PRIMAL FITNESS? word on the streets is that they are DRIVEN & RELIABLE, but they can also be RELENTLESS & ARROGANT. by the way, they look eerily similar to GREY DAMON, donât they? ( admin karin / 20 / she/fae / aest )
FULL NAME: cassius evander fulgora. ( x. ) AGE: twenty-seven. PRONOUNS / GENDER:Â he/him / cis male. SPECIES: shapeshifter. HOUSING:Â rosehill, in an apartment with his girlfriend moon hana. FAMILY: born to claudio and anita fulgora, cassius is their eldest child. however, cassius views his half sister portiaâs mother, merce as a mother of his own too. he also has one other sibling born to claudio and anita, five years younger than him.
BACKSTORY
they say that family shapes a person. and in cassiusâ case, truer words have never been said. it is impossible to tell his story without telling the story of his family.
it started with a marriage proposal. almost thirty years ago, before his mother anita was pregnant with the boy that would be known to the world as cassius evander fulgora. a business deal had been struck between the fulgoras and the kleins. the eldest fulgora son, claudio was to marry the kleinsâ only daughter. but he was in love with another then, a woman named merce. still, a deal was a deal, and claudio fulgora did not turn his back on promises.
and so anita and claudio got married, and a few months later, cassius was born. but it wasnât until cassius was five, upon returning to fairview after the couple and their child spent a few months in germany, that anita learned claudio had another child. his ex lover came to their home, begging anita and claudio to please not hate her little daughter portia, only a few months older than cassius himself. and anita, despite her disappointment, could not help herself from falling in love with the little girl and feeling a kinship towards this girlâs mother. cassius, however, was a different story. while he was immediately fond of merce, the little girl his father made him call sister earned glares and scowls from him.
claudio and merce were over now. merce got pregnant before claudio married anita, before he fell in love with his wife. but it didnât change the fact that the lives of these two families would always be intertwined, and in the future, cassius would think of them all as one family.
it was around the same time cassius first met his half-sister that his powers bloomed. something that, as a little boy, he enjoyed showing off to his sister. the only shapeshifters in the family were cassius and his father, and it always made him feel like he was special. it was difficult to control at first, but gradually, over time, his powers became less of a game and something that cassius truly cherished, something that he saw as a part of him rather than an extension of who he was.
at age twelve his father sent him to a boarding school in switzerland. but merce wouldnât allow portia to get the same education claudio was offering cassius, and in his stubborness, cassius had refused more than a few years at the school, eventually returning to fairview to finish his high school education.
high school was when he met and befriended hana, a striking girl who like him, seemed to know that she was special and above everyone else. it was a gamble, really. they couldâve hated each other or became the best of friends, and somehow, they ended as allies, partners and friends. if there was a person he would call his soulmate, it would be hana.
they remained friends even when cassius left fairview again to go to university further up on the east coast. certainly, there were feelings involved that were a little more than friendship, but neither of them knew how to act on it. when cassius returned to fairview at last, one of the first things he found out that hana was in a relationship with someone else.
but soulmates always came back together. long story short, he and hana found each other again, and in the years to come, they would both become the best versions of each other. cassius, ever the arrogant and stubborn fighter, would eventually find work at the quarter moon ( he says itâs because it has moon in its name, which so happens to be hanaâs last name ) where he bartends but more importantly, where he is close to the exclusive fight ring in fairview. it was the perfect mix of elegance and violence alike.
tldr; he has a pretty standard backstory, but it shaped cassius into the person who he is today.
PERSONALITY
thereâs no easy way to describe cassius. heâs an arrogant asshole, heâs a person who wants more, who is greedy for power and glory. heâs quick-witted, clever, in the way that he could be a strategist for war. he could be a child of the god of war himself, lord ares. he is driven, passionate and once he has a goal set in mind, he would strive at it until he could grasp it and taste it on his tongue. he is ruled by a strict moral code, although his codes arenât the ideal or best ones. still, he adheres to his code, knowing full well that he isnât a good person. on the moral alignment scale, cassius is lawful evil, if you will.
but above all, love drives him. his love for the ones closest to him trumps everything, and despite his greediness and his selfishness, it is all driven by love. he fights, he bleeds for the people that he loves. love makes him selfish because he canât bear the idea of losing his loved ones, and he would do anything and everything for them.
to sum it up, here is an excerpt from an explanation i had of cassius:Â âcassius evander fulgora is sensitive but not soft, lawful but not law-abiding, bold and brazen but not brave, and above all, he is a good brother, son, friend, husband and father, but not a good man.â
Does your character have any nicknames? the people closest to cassius are allowed to call him cas. for the most part, only his family does. thereâs also evander, his middle name. an old nickname, given by a childhood best friend from the town he came from.
Does your character have any distinguishing features such as tattoos, scars, piercings, etc? curled dragon wings tattooed onto his back, gotten when he was twenty. theyâre done in black and white, and take up most of his upper back.
What is your character like in relationships? Are they clingy? Faithful or unfaithful? Do they jump from one relationship to the other? Do they even have an interest in something romantic? cassius has been steadily in a relationship with moon hana for two years now. he doesnât fall in love easy, but when he does, itâs intense and all consuming. hana is cassiusâ world, and he knows that he wants to be hers forever.
What kind of things does your character like? What do they dislike? cassius was born a fighter. if you ask me to define him in one word, it would be that. so itâs no strange thing that he enjoys fighting at the ring down in the quarter moon, but verbal arguments ( so long as theyâre not completely pointless ) also give him satisfaction. other things he likes includes but are not limited to: his girlfriend hana, mornings, italian cuisine, the art of war by sun tzu, running/jogging, books ( particularly non fiction ones ), hitting up the gym. one of cassiusâ biggest dislikes is smoking and cigarettes, and he does not tolerate with people who smoke near him.
How does your character treat their friends and family? How about strangers? Enemies? the thing about cassius fulgora is that nothing he does is by halves. for him, itâs all or nothing. love, hate â you name it. itâs all the same. heâs intense, passionate and full of fire. when he loves someone, he loves them so fiercely. he is loyal to his family first and foremost ( the list includes friends closest to him and his girlfriend hana ), and he would do anything for them. while he too is loyal to his friends, if they threatened his family, he would drop them in a heartbeat. strangers, he keeps at arm length until they prove themselves. enemies? he would burn the world to burn them. just as he loves, he hates with a passion too.
Where does your character go when they are angry? the ring or the gym sometimes, and other times? home. to hana.
What is your characterâs biggest fear? Who have they told this to? Who would they never tell this to? Why? perhaps to some it was a strange fear, but cassiusâ biggest fear has always been total blindness. itâs no big secret either, if anyone asks he would tell them about it. but it also isnât something he advertises, considering that itâs difficult to explain that his fear is stemmed from the fact that that sort of darkness would suffocate him.
Does your character have a secret? If so, what is it? tba, i canât think of one.
Has your character ever been in love? Have they ever had a broken heart? cassius has had a few crushes here and there, some more intense than others. but the first time his heart felt like it belonged to another was when he fell in love with hana in high school. it was almost too late when he realised it, away from fairview for university and coming back only to see her with another on her arm. it almost broke his heart too, if it wasnât for the fact that he and hana came back to each other in the end.
Does your character have any flaws? What are they? he likes to act like heâs better than everyone else, but cassius is incredibly flawed. he has a temper, heâs stubborn and he does everything in extremes. too much is what he is. he knows this too, and while he hates how it drives some people away and he fears that itâll drive his loved ones away one day, he isnât exactly sure how to stop. he is empty, and the only way he knows to fill himself is to become too much.
What is one strong memory that has stuck with your character from childhood? Why is it so powerful and lasting? there are probably more than one, but the moment his half sister walked into his home changed cassiusâ life. they go a long way, but that day was the day that cassius added two more people into his list of family.
WANTED CONNECTIONS / PLOTSÂ
enemies. people he hates, and people who probably hate him back. whether itâs petty hateship, or whether they truly are a dangerous person or perhaps someone heâs made fun of in high school. anything goes for this.
frenemies. he probably has a lot of these, especially werewolves who fight in the ring as he does, or wolves who frequent the gym he sometimes works at. while he has a grudging respect for them, theyâre werewolves, and heâs a shapeshifter. theyâre meant to be at odds despite being two sides of the same coin.Â
coworkers. both primal fitness or quarter moon, if your character works there, hit me up.
regular customers. similarly, if your character frequents the gym or the quarter moon, then they would probably be well acquainted with cassius too. a plot iâd also like is someone who has cassius as a personal trainer at the primal fitness.

date:Â september 22, 03:06 pm. location:Â the fairview times.
AS A GENERAL RULE, anyone who had spent more than five minutes with cassius would know that yes, he was in fact taken and yes, he loved his girlfriend with all his heart. the sentiment seemed to apply vice versa, too. and anyone who had been in the near vicinity of both cassius and hana would probably be well aware â too well, in fact â that they had a fondness for public display of affection.
something that, most of hanaâs employees were very familiar with.
yet cassius strode into the fairview times with no shame, head held high as a smirk twisted across his lips when he spotted his girlfriend. it was no news that he acted like he owned the place almost as much as hana did, and that he belonged â never mind that he didnât even know the first thing about running a newspaper. his eyes lit up as he leaned down to peck hana right on the lips in full view of her entire office, before pulling back to hum out, âwell, are you going to stay cooped up in here all night or will you actually spare me your precious time to accompany me to the festivities?â

â°Â JACKSON CRANEâ â±â:
Almost every night you could find Jack at his bar having a drink, and shooting the shit with either his pack or just a few locals who were brave enough to wander into his place. On other nights, well, he was at the ring watching the blood spill for a few green backs. Tonight, he had decided to just sit back at the bar and actually crunch a few numbers. Both business were extremely profitable, and he didnât exactly trust anyone else to do this work. Someone always tried to skim a bit off the top when you arenât looking. Speaking of not looking, Jack caught someone in the corner of his eye that made him take a short little break from his work, and wander up to his bar to see what brought them in. âHowâs it going?âÂ
HE HAD TO HAND IT to southsideâs alpha â jackson crane really knew how to start conversations. cassius had to hold back from snorting at the terrible sentence opening the other man was proposing. still, he lifted his mug and tipped it in jacksonâs direction, then lifted it back up against his lips before swallowing a gulp and wiping his mouth. it had been a while since he had headed down to the den, with work and the fight ring keeping him at the quarter moon most nights. tonight, though, even to his surprise, he had chosen the den as his destination.
cassius offered jackson a grin. he and the other man were acquainted from quarter moonâs fight ring. he wondered how the business at the den was going if even its owner spent some nights at another. ânow, see, if you were trying to flirt with me, â taken, by the way â youâll need a stronger opening than that,â he shot back instead of responding. cassius pointed at the open seat next to him. then, he added, âgood night for business?â
