we don't relate to the DID switch simulations on tiktok, we don't relate to the way some systems portray their alters interacting, we don't relate to posts about having frequent blackout amnesia, but guess what? we are still a system. we still meet the diagnostic criteria, we still see a therapist for all of this, we still have DID. systemhood is such a unique experience for all who experience it. there is nothing wrong with the systems who do relate to these things, just as there is nothing wrong with us for not relating to these experiences all the time. dissociative disorders are not a one size fits all situation. denial is a bitch and a half, so please know your experiences as a system are valid, you are still a system even if you don't relate to system content online. anyways that's all, hopefully whoever needs to hear this sees it.<3

hysterectomy should be an informed consent procedure full stop. it should be illegal to deny someone a hysterectomy based on their age or based on them not having kids or based on their spouse/partner not signing off on it. anyone over 18 should be allowed to make that decision.

TADC theory! *ep 5 spoilers*

So I've watched episode 5 twice now, and while I have no clue what's going on with the cliffhanger we were left on, I do have a theory regarding Jax, Pomni, and Ragatha.

I think Ragatha is going to abstract in one of the next episodes. Not only do we see her glitch briefly when talking to Jax and Pomni in the dug out, we see her multiple times throughout the episode looking concerned about Pomni getting close with Jax. I interpret this as Ragatha basically being like "you don't know what I do about him." AND at the end we see her feeling alienated from the rest of the characters, just as it was implied Kaufmo did before he abstracted.

I don't think I'm the first one to theorize this, but we've had many hints as to Jax having caused players to abstract in the past, possibly leading to Ragatha saying he doesn't have friends anymore, and possibly why we see Jax stop in the hallway in front of the picture of "Ribbit," who we know from Gooseworx was the last to abstract before Kaufmo. This might be part of why Ragatha is concerned about him and Pomni bonding.

Now, near the end of the episode Pomni gives Ragatha a talk basically giving her permission to stop people pleasing and crash out a bit. My theory is that Pomni saying this will lead to Ragatha ultimately losing it and abstracting, which will create more of a bond between Pomni and Jax, as they will both know what it feels like to be the reason someone abstracts.

I'm not the best at composing my thoughts with my hyperfixations such as TADC, so hopefully this makes sense! What did y'all think of the new episode? Do y'all have any more theories?

and more than anything— showing an indigeneous family being separated by the government, and having it be shown as a “happy ending.” the original ending was perfect. nani kept custody and gained a support system.
