The blorbos <3333 I've had some weird art block for a while now, and I started these two a while ago and was really happy with them but just ran out of motivation. So, I figured I'd let them see the light of day as WIPs so that people can still appreciate them bc I still do really love how they are turning out <3 I still very much want to finish them but I am, as many artists are, at the whim of a fickle sense of motivation </3

Made this funky guy for a lil concept art event in Bonsai Studio's discord server :]

The idea is he's either a Nether dwelling mob that kinda stays near the shores of lava lakes/oceans and his shell sticks out like a lil volcanic vent or he is an overworld mob that sits on/around hydrothermal vents and kinda siphons off of them

Yeah I feel like MC has a literal Horde Of Undead already and it just... It needs more life, y'know?

What if we had animated plant monsters (outside of the creepers, based on some ppl's headcanons)? What if there was weird stone entities found around geodes or in dripstone caves? How about just a weird creatures that gives off those familiar-but-alien vibes like prehistoric beasts do? hell what if there just WERE prehistoric animals????

do you have a favourite texture pack, or one that you use more often?

I have a few that I've used fairly often!

First off, I almost always use a pack made from Vanilla Tweaks!

I like the option of having vanilla-adjacent textures, and this one is very fun bc all it does is, as it says, tweak them! I typically use options like these:

(tho I tend to use many more than just these. These are just examples)

Another one I like alot (tho I haven't used in a bit) is Stay True!

Again, it's a vanilla-esque feel but I like how the foliage in this pack just has so much more volume to it, and the connected textures are also a nice thing that makes the world feel more organic :]

I tend to conglomerate texture packs a lot, usually just a primary pack and then a handful of small packs that change somethign specific like specific sounds/items/mobs.
