I'm dropping Knock Yourself Out! Vol. 1.

I just can't get through it. I consider myself generally more sex-positive than other asexuals, but not only is this novel just constantly sexualizing the main character, but every single scene seems to be about either people trying to harass the MC or the MC harassing someone else. It's a shame because the writer made one of my favorite light novel series, and I do think the writing is technically excellent.

On the other hand, the next novel I've started is already a lot of fun, and a real palate cleanser.

Today I finished RVing My Way into Exile with My Beloved Cat Vol. 3.

Mizarie and the gang go to (fantasy) Japan. This volume is still mostly a cute slice of life novel. However, just as I was thinking that things were getting pretty boring, the plot picks up and we get some intrigue and a few action scenes. Still a pretty fun novel series.

Next up, the new novel by Onikage, who is the author of one of my favorite series of all time.
