it's simple really: october is for horror movies with highly stylized villains and iconic monsters because they make for good costumes. early november is for gothic horror because of the fog and decay etc. late november is for zombies (commentary on consumerist culture). december is for psychological horror and stuff where they're trapped in a room because that's when you have to go to holiday parties with your family.

At least today’s insomnia 1. Is during my summer break so I don’t have to worry about work tomorrow and 2. Has a project I could focus on so I’m not lying in bed spiraling about all of the things in my life that are currently out of my control
#my dad asked me to design a lightweight foldable flat that looks like a refrigerator with a functioning door for a concert this summer#and I got a lot of work done earlier today#but I was trying to fall asleep and thinking about how the jacks I initially designed wouldn’t work#so I said fuck it and hopped on the Internet to research that#and found a better lighter weight solution#and came up with some more set dressing type of ideas for the fridge#anyways send good vibes that I get all three of the emails I want to get soon and that they all have good news
