Best Time to do the Mount Everest Base Camp Trek-
Now it is up to you. Everest Base Camp will be delighted to welcome at any time of the year. But the best months to do this trek are considered from April to June (Pre-monsoon) and September to mid-November (Post monsoon), when rain doesn’t make the trail slippery and the snow doesn’t start to settle.
Things to carry-
The entire journey of Everest Base Camp typically lasts for 12 to 15 days, out of which you will spend 2 to 4 days on high altitude, where you might not get clean water or proper food. And cold is unbearable on the high altitude. So, pack your backpack with all the necessary items.
Munching items like chips, chikki and packed food (dry fruits, chocolates) which lasts for at least two weeks
Water bottleS
Plastic bag- To keep the wastage and store your dirty laundry
Sleeping bag or tent- You can borrow these things from Kathmandu or Lukla
Hiking shoes- Water-resistant and light weighed
Sneakers and Slippers- As an extra
Socks and gloves (2-3 pair)
Winter jacket
Hiking pants, bottom pants, and t-shirts- Warm and comfortable
Body wipes- Showers are limits. Wipes will help you a lot when it comes to cleaning
Hand wipes
Cash- it’s most important, as you won’t get any ATM on the hill
Trekking poles
Water purification tablets- On your way up there, you won’t get clean water to drink, so water purification tablets will help you in that
Camera- To capture the moments of the trip
Flashlight with extra batteries
First aid kit (including band-aids)

The amazing view of 16 beautiful peaks including Mt. Kanchenjunga from Dzongri top, verdant never ending Himalayan forests, vast variety of flora & fauna including rhododendrons, magical streams and meadows - all these will make you fall in love with the Goechala trek.
Best time for the Goechala Trek
The best time for this trek is summer between the months of Apr to Jun or after-monsoon season (mid-Sep to Oct). For an avid trekker, anytime is good for this trek but for a novice, off-season would be the best option. It’s better to avoid the monsoon, as the pathways & trails would be quite slippery due to rain. Winter should also be avoided because of snowfall.
Temperature varies according to the seasons - Summer: 15 to 25 degree Celsius,  Monsoon: 5 to 15 degree Celsius, Spring: 10 to 18 degree Celsius, whereas in Winter it drops below -5 degree Celsius.

You will likely go over snow similarly as you cross the 10,000 feet mark, lying on the timberland floor among the pine trees. At the point when you arrive at the knolls, it is probably going to be an enormous cover of white around you toward each path. This trek has the prettiest campgrounds in the Himalayas. Not all treks can flaunt the magnificence of its campground like the Kedarkantha trek. Every one of its campgrounds is novel in its excellence. The Juda-Ka-Talab campground sits in a clearing encompassed by monster pine trees, the Kedarkantha Base campground is on an open glade with snow tops all around, the Hargaon camp is again on a clearing of pines and oaks. It is as though every last one of them contends with one another in their delightful setting. Kedarkantha is a hypnotizing winter trek which will give you an encounter of a lifetime. This venture merits giving a shot as a result of the knee-profound snow one experiences, the perfect campgrounds that become one’s homestead, degree perspective on the mountains and the rush of trekking a pinnacle.

The trail is full of adventure, sightseeing, making new friends and experiencing a whole new thing. green oak trees covered with snow and the land carpeted with snow gives such a strive to visit the place that one can not stop.
To reach kedarkantha you have to take a bus from Delhi to Dehradun from Dehradun you can take a bus to reach sankri bus timings are not fixed so you better check before leaving or you can take a cab to reach sankri and enjoy the most beautiful view that you would have ever seen. They took my heart away.ii have taken the shared cab and they were also going for the trek so I have found my companions, Also the advantage of the cab is that you can stop wherever you want so we took 2-3 pit stops in between due to which we got to know a lot of things about the place and people. To know the background of any place is to communicate with the locals they were so welcoming and nice.
We reached sankri after the 7-8hrs. Of journey. And rested in our hotels and I was so excited for the next day to begin the trek that I could hardly sleep properly but then we all slept.
