Chocolate fudge is the most popular sweet now-a-days.I have recently  grown betel (Paan) leaves in my kitchen garden. One day I saw the plant and thought of making something innovative,so I looked up the internet and found out this wonderful recipe and decided to try it .It is refreshing and flavorful For someone who loves sweets and also Paan, this is a mouthwatering delight which can be enjoyed in just one big gulp.
This is an easy version of of preparing chocolate fudge and not the traditional method. The 3 ingredients used are sweetened condensed milk, chocolate and butter.I have added paan leaves and dry fruits, but its optional.

Moong Dal Kei Laddu
well to be honest, for the first look, this ladoo recipe is very much similar to besan ladoo or chickpea laddu. as a matter of fact, if you do not mention the name of moong dal ladoo while serving, i guess it would be easily misunderstood for the other. the texture, taste and also the colour is very similar to the besan ke laddu. yet the use of moong dal and sugar combination makes it a unique one. i personally feel the moong ke laddu is a much better option compared to the other as it is more healthy and also easy to make. with rava ladoo, there are high chances to go wrong especially while it is mixed with sugar syrup and you may not be able to shape. whereas, there is less chance of getting this wrong.

Homemade Potato Chips
Tumblr media
Making homestyle potato chips is fun and easy. Guaranteed they won't last long! A food processor with a slicing attachment is very helpful. Experiment with the thickness; you may like them thicker or thinner. I like to use olive oil because it has less trans fats, but you can use safflower, corn, or peanut oil as well as vegetable oil .
Place potato slices into a large bowl of cold water as you slice. Drain, and rinse, then refill the bowl with water, and add the salt. Let the potatoes soak in the salty water for at least 30 minutes. Drain, then rinse and drain again.
Heat oil in a deep-fryer to 365 degrees F (185 degrees C). Fry potato slices in small batches. Once they start turning golden, remove and drain on paper towels. Continue until all of the slices are fried. Season with additional salt if desired.

Cucumber Chips Roasted
First, take your cucumber and slice it up. Prime thickness is about an 1/8 of an inch. You want to make sure they’ll “cook” evenly. Using a mandoline will help keep them uniform
Next, pat them dry with a towel and throw the raw cucumber slices into a bowl and mix in your seasoning of choice.
There are so many different varieties of spices and seasonings for these cucumber chips. Here are some of my favorite:
Onion and Garlic Powdered garlic and salt

Sarso Mirch Pickle
Few times, we bought a packet or two and enjoyed this pickle with everything from rice to Indian roti. Unlike most heavy oil-based pickles, this quick pickle (achar) is lite with delicious tang of mustard and lemon.  I tested the recipe on one or two serrano hot chili and was quite pleased with the results. In meantime, when we visited Indian Stores, I asked Vishal to not buy Chili Pickle and argument went something like this
This chili pickle needs basic pantry ingredients and some chilies! It tastes delicious with everything from Indian-style Rice or Paratha or Curry Roti!
You can use serrano or Indian pickling chilis for this recipe. If you like hot chili flavor, you can start munching on this pickle just after 2 hours of mixing all ingredients.  However, longer it sits in pickling mix, mild and tangy it becomes.
For me, 1.5-2 days is the best pickling time. Pickle lasts 2 weeks in air-tight container in refrigerator. If you want to can, it will survive for 6 months.

Fruit Muffins
It’s tricky to find sweet fresh blueberries all year round. Thankfully, this doesn’t prevent us from getting our blueberry muffin fix! When using frozen blueberries, add them when they are still frozen.
Oil is my favorite fat to use when making these blueberry muffins. I usually use butter when baking since I love the flavor, but after testing these muffins with both oil and butter, we found that the oil made more tender muffins.
Milk is my go-to liquid for baking muffins, but if you are dairy-free, try homemade oat milk, unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk.
Egg provides structure and stability to the muffins. We use one egg. If you do not eat eggs, you can try using a flax egg instead.
Baking powder is our go-to leavener for these blueberry muffins.

Ariselu
Ariselu or Arisa  is an Indian sweet from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Odisha. It is also called Kajjaaya in Kannada, Anarsa in Marathi, arsa or anarsa in Bihar and Jharkhand and Adhirasam in Tamil Nadu.
Ariselu is a traditional dish and it is prepared during festivities like Sankranti, Dusshera, Deepavali.
It is made out of rice flour, and ghee / edible oil. Jaggery may be replaced with granulated sugar
A dough is first prepared out of rice flour or ground soaked rice and molten jaggery. The dough is kneaded first and then flattened in small portions in a similar fashion as making breads such as poori or chapatti. These flattened portions are fried in ghee or oil. Finally, these are pressed in gingelly or sesame seed or poppy seeds.

Modak
Modak is an Indian sweet popular in states of Maharashtra, Goa and in the regions of Konkan in India. It is One of the Favourite and Religious Dish of Lord Ganesha which is Also used in Prayers. The sweet filling on the inside of a modak consists of freshly grated coconut and jaggery while the outer soft shell is made from rice flour or wheat flour mixed with khava or maida flour.
Modak can be fried or steamed. The steamed version is often eaten hot with ghee
Modak is considered to be the favourite sweet of the Hindu deity, Ganesha. It begets him the moniker modakapriya
During Ganesh Chaturthi, the puja usually concludes with an offering of 21 or 101 modaks to Ganesha as prasadam. Modaks made with rice flour shells are often preferred for this purpose, although wheat shell versions are also used. Local businesses outside Ganesh Temples across India usually sell pre-packed/readymade versions of Modaks.
In Japan, a sweet similar to modak and known locally as Kangidan is offered to god Kangiten, the Japanese version of Lord Ganesha. Kangidans are made from curds, honey, and red bean paste. They are wrapped in kneaded dough made from parched flour and shaped like a bun before they are deep fried.

Ganesh Chaturthi
Ganesh Chaturthi  also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi  is a Hindu festival celebrating the arrival of Ganesh to earth from Kailash Parvat with his mother Goddess Parvati/Gauri. The festival is marked with the installation of Ganesh clay idols privately in homes, or publicly on elaborate mandals (temporary stages). Observations include chanting of Vedic hymns and Hindu texts such as, prayers and brata . Offerings and prasadam from the daily prayers, that are distributed from the mandal to the community, include sweets such as modaka as it is believed to be a favourite of Lord Ganesh. The festival ends on the tenth day after start this day is known as Ganesh Visarjan , when the idol is carried in a public procession with music and group chanting, then immersed in a nearby body of water such as a river or sea. In Mumbai alone, around 150,000 statues are immersed annually. Thereafter the clay idol dissolves and Ganesh is believed to return to Mount Kailash to Parvati and Shiva.

Indian Cuisine
Indian cuisine consists of a variety of regional and traditional cuisines native to the Indian subcontinent. Given the diversity in soil, climate, culture, ethnic groups, and occupations, these cuisines vary substantially and use locally available spices, herbs, vegetables, and fruits. Indian food is also heavily influenced by religion, in particular Hinduism, cultural choices and traditions.Centuries of Islamic rule, particularly by the Mughals, also introduced dishes like samosa and pilaf.
Historical events such as invasions, trade relations, and colonialism have played a role in introducing certain foods to this country. The Columbian discovery of the New World brought a number of new vegetables and fruit to India. A number of these such as the potato, tomatoes, chillies, peanuts, and Guava have become staples in many regions of India. Indian cuisine has shaped the history of international relations; the spice trade between India and Europe was the primary catalyst for Europe's Age of Discovery. Spices were bought from India and traded around Europe and Asia. Indian cuisine has influenced other cuisines across the world, especially those from Europe (especially Britain), the Middle East, Southern African, East Africa, Southeast Asia, North America, Mauritius, Fiji, Oceania, and the Caribbean.
