Um pouco da história dos containers

Até a década de 30 ainda não haviam inventado um método para armazenamento e transporte de cargas que fosse eficiente e aonde não houvessem tantos problemas de perca, deteriorização e extravio de mercadorias. Foi então que Malcom McLean com pouco mais de vinte anos teve uma ideia que revolucionaria o transporte de cargas e mais tarde até mesmo a forma de construir moradias. Malcom que era dono de uma transportara nos EUA notava o quão trabalhoso era a descarga de algodão no porto de Nova Iorque, então teve a ideia de armazená-los e transportá-los em grandes caixas metálicas que pudessem ser facilmente transportadas por diversos meios de transporte. Com o tempo McLean foi aprimorando a ideia do container e na década de 60 já operava grandes envios de encomendas entre Europa e EUA.

E assim o mundo é movido, com grandes ideias que trazem grandes inovações. Há mais de 70 anos surgiam os primeiros containers e há pouco mais de 5 anos as primeiras casas containers pelo mundo e que atualmente começam a ganhar força.
