Winter has arrived in Foxbury Acres.

Instead of running a farm stall from their garden, Lydia and Alon set up an old barn as the premises for their business. Foxbury Farm Store is open for business!

With the skills they already have, the business is bound to be a success.

Lydia is about to give birth to their second baby and with their first one running around everywhere, Alon has managed to persuade Lydia that their home is no longer a suitable place for their business. They managed to make it a level 10 business before selling and both had gold cashier badges. Lydia also has a gold sales badge and silver restocking.

Alexander is a cute toddler.

The family haven’t been opening the business much whilst they deal with toddler skills and pregnancy need drops, but Alon has been doing what he can to send out the odd bouquet of flowers, or sell some freshly caught fish.

Determined to find more ways to make money to support their little family, Alon has decided to make use of that gold fishing badge he arrived with.

The new Foxbury Family home has been built!

And yes those are two cribs, because the last date night Lydia and Alon had ended in jingles. Which of course Lydia is rolling with like it’s no big deal and Alon is freaking out about.

It’s Alexander’s birthday! Whilst Lydia is very carefree and doesn’t really see the rush to change their living circumstances, Alon is much more practical and wants his son to have space to learn to walk and play. He has been saving hard and scraping money together to build a more permanent home for them which you should see come to fruition next post!

With Alexander about to grow up into a toddler and the family still living in a tiny, temporary home, Alon figured it was worth diversifying the products they offered to try and bring in an extra revenue stream. Right now he is making them to order and selling as soon as they are made, but once he’s more experienced he plans on adding some to the stall to sell a long with the fresh fruit and veggies.

Within a few sessions, Alon has a bronze talent badge.

I can’t get The Sims 2 to run on my computer at the moment, repairing and uninstalling and re-installing, plus the usual fixes aren’t working at the moment, so that’s why I haven’t been posting. I am going to take a break from trying to sort it, then try back again in a few days when I’m less frustrated! In the meantime, I will probably play some Sims 3 for a while :)
