Goodbye to Tumblr...

December 17 is here, and with it Tumblr’s ban on adult content. Which means my artwork is no longer welcome, and that again means I don’t have much reason to stick around. 

The main reason I joined Tumblr in the first place was to have an extra place to post all my artwork, especially the stuff that might get too explicit for DeviantArt... but that’s not going to be a possibility anymore. And even my non-explicit artwork does often feature nudity... more precisely, it features topless women. With their nipples totally uncovered and uncensored. I’ll admit, the rules seem a little unclear on whether or not “female presenting nipples” were okay if they were just drawings. but the way things are going I doubt it. 

So there’s nothing else for it: Hereby I declare this art blog officially cancelled, effect immediate. I’m taking down all my art... yes, even the totally SFW stuff. Tumblr isn’t actually a very good place to post art; it was really only the possibility for adult content that made it worthwhile. It’s certainly not such a good place for art that I have any kind of interest in maintaining a gallery where half of my work isn’t allowed.. 

So, that’s it for me and Tumblr, I’m afraid. I’m scouting around for decent alternatives... NO, I’m NOT moving my art to Twitter. There are limits.

In the meantime, you can still see my art at my DeviantArt page... non-explicit, but at least DeviantArt allows nipples..
