What does he want? To marry that old man Walder Frey and be raped by him every day or to be given to Ramsay who is far worse than Walder and Joffrey combined and abuse and rape her like he did to Sansa in the show. If she was married to Ramsay, it would be hell for her. And Myra is happy with Jaime. He would never make her do anything she didn't want to do and he would never abuse her. Not to mention Jaime changes for the better with her and thrives. The change in him is clearly visible.
The way I had an answer typed up and it disappeared. I am UPSET. Anyway...
"In chapter 66 of the story "A Vow Without Honor," when Jon Umber told Myra that if he could, he would break her neck without hesitation or regret because she chose to marry Jaime Lannister, it made me a little angry." (Sorry if the translation is bad).
This is a point I've brought up many times in the story. It's that too much honor is just as harmful as having none at all. When a belief is so rigid that it refuses to bend, it will break.
For the Greatjon, anything short of essentially dying is seen as not doing enough (as a man, I don't believe he fully realizes how much worse it would be for Myra). He is a man of extremes, the full North stereotype that Myra is trying to counter. And we do see that he is starting to understand.
But I also can't completely blame him for his initial mindset. As far as he knows, his king and son were killed with aid from Jaime Lannister, and now his king's sister is happily married to the guy. He doesn't know the details, but he's getting there.

Will Edmure and Brynden survive? And will Roslin give birth to a boy or a girl? I actually like Roslin, it also wasn't easy for her.
I do plan on Edmure surviving because he and Roslin get to have an adorable sideplot. Not sure about Brynden. We will see him again soon at least, but I don't yet know his fate.
You'll just have to wait on the kid 😉

I love that Jaime and Myra actually trust each other and never got jealous so far. That is a great trait in their relationship.
Honestly, I just didn't want to write jealousy in the relationship. Is it realistic or not? Don't know, but I just really dislike using them in my writing. I want a couple who fought this hard to be together to actually have happiness.
#for me it's always weird say in a show#where characters spent seasons getting to a point#and it's instantly undone with something as simple as jealousy or bad communication#always leaves a bad taste in my mouth

I was wondering, and sorry if it was mentioned in AVWH and I forgot, but why was Myra betrothed to Domeric Bolton? I mean, it's the Boltons.
They were one of the bannermen, and gave no reason for concern. I think I also just really wanted the connection. It's been a while, but I likely had reasons to use it which have changed drastically now lol.
#the AVWH you see now is not the one from then#like I had Jaime being taken North as a prisoner at some point#it's been everywhere

I just saw the small spoiler for 69. I love the direction you are going and I see we are going to get a Jon chapter. Oh boy this is going to be interesting!
Crawling my way to Jon! But it's going to be so good, I promise!

Sooooo few people are actually willing to defend the basic human rights of people who have committed crimes. Like I know it's not fun but if you genuinely believe in human rights as a concept you can't be okay with the state violating them in prisons I'm sorrrrry. Having moral principles is not always a fun time.

internet politics and real-world politics have gotten so separated, and pretty soon all this internet weirdness is gonna come crashing into real life and politicians are gonna start throwing around words like “SJW” and “anime communist” and “dark enlightenment” and it’s just gonna be the most ridiculous fucking thing

Hello! I want to ask you about the story "A Vow Without Honor". Do you think that Mira was very naive at the beginning and had no idea what men were like?
Yes and no.
Myra isn't like Sansa in the beginning. Life isn't a song, and she's aware that there are horrible people doing horrible things. Robb, Jon, and Theon have helped her understand that men can be terrible creatures, and we see this a little in her attitude toward Ramsay in the opening chapters.
That said, she's still incredibly naive, because she is very trusting of most people and believes in the best version of themselves. She had to see someone be terrible to truly understand that this is someone she should be cautious around. Only in KL did she start to learn she ought to suspect first, trust later.

Will others come to know WHY Jaime killed Aerys?
Yeah, that's going to come up at some point. I don't know when exactly. Probably when I gather all the big players in the same place.

Will Jory die or survive? I feel bad for him, even though he screwed up a bit, despite his best intentions.
Nothing is set in stone, but Jory is probably going to die. Cause he's that guy who is going to sacrifice himself for someone. That's how he's built.
And no, his redemption isn't via death. He gets it before then.

Jaime and Myra are each other's true love 😍❤️🔥
It's cool if you want to believe that, but I'm not a fan of the true love angle, especially when it comes to Game of Thrones. For me, true love implies destiny and a lack of work needed for a couple to be together.
Jaime and Myra have been through it. I've dragged their relationship through the mud and over hot coals. They hated one another once upon a time, and it took a fair amount of character development and understanding to bring them to this point.

Sad for Osha, but since Rickon will live...
@nejires-hado is this you?
Spoilers: Yes, he'll live. I was told under no circumstances could I allow him to die. Very rude.
