But if you eat meat and vegetables, you maintain the energy for a lot longer!” The old General reached out, patting Luke’s head. “Your body will feel better and healthier if you eat more meat and vegetables and fruit than sweets.” 

“That doesn’t make any sense, food is food and you use energy depending on what you do during the day.” Folding his arms, Luke let out a childish huff. “And besides, there’s only one food that can ever make me feel better so that proves you even more wrong.”

“Ah, yes, but it will turn into different kinds of energy. Sugary stuff like brownies and cookies and pie turn into a quick-to-burn energy, whereas meats and vegetables last for much longer! And they make you stronger and feel better too!” 

Luke pouted at the scolding. “Like it matters, it’s all just gonna turn into energy and poop in the end. At least brownies, cookies, and pie tastes better.”

“Brownies, cookies, and pie do not count for a meal! Not a well balanced one at least! Meats and fruits and vegetables make a meal!” Tiedoll replied, tapping his fingers against his palm. 

“Ugh, why does it have to be meat? Don’t people usually eat sweet things on their birthdays? Like cake and ice cream.”

“You may have a point, my boy... But, of course, for a balanced diet, we need to eat a meal before cake and ice cream!”
