DONE!!! #oneweek100people day 5: 82-100 march 10 2023 this is the first time i did not stress out each day sketching about 20 people/day! I stuck to using pen&ink and pencil line drawings. I drew groups of people in 2 sheets of paper 7x9” each day choosing photos that i had been meaning to sketch - some day soon i hope i to paint them bigger in watercolor. Thank you again @marc.holmes for challenge - thoroughly enjoyed it this year :) Today’s are beach scenes that i did not have time sketch and had to be content with taking photos to file away ! #oneweek100people day 4 nos 63-81 Today its photos from airports that i wanted to sketch for a while :) the first one even has baby - while the dad with his hands full struggled to open the stroller, many were watching! 2nd one is at Heathrow airport, London. The robot clearner was going back and forth but no one noticed. First one needs to be in color - its the busy colorful Camden High St in London - the buildings facades are so interesting !!! i spent way too much time doing the buildings! At least I did sketch it more than a year ago love it that this is being posted on the 14th Blog Anniversary! I wish I had a better image. I hope I will sketch many more as she grows to fully realize her wonderful potential. 2. Smithsonian Engagement Calendar 2021 week 15 The Kiowa Battle dress c 2000 by Vanessa Jennings (Kiowa/Pima) is “similar to those worn by female relatives of the warrior members of the Ton-Won-Gah, or the Kiowa Black Leggings Society. The yellow patches with the horse heads indicate a Vietnam War veteran from the US Army's first cavalry." I actually had not paid any attention to this photo on the opposite page in the upcycled sketchbook - the Smithsonian Engagement calendar 2021- while I sketched my grandbaby so many many weeks ago!
