Your last piece of art was so lovely! May I ask how you decided on your design for Marah? Is she a Kaslana variant?

Aaah thank you so much!!! :D

Now, my Marah design is based on both her in-game NPC model as well as the funny coincidence of her hairstyle looking almost identical to the one that I gave a genderbend Kevin A genderbend Kevin who only existed because someone showed me the leaks of Vita's NPC model and I decided that, if hoyoverse gives us a fem!Su, I will make sure that that fem!Su gets a fem!Kevin as well

Then the updates came around and Marah and Sa were shown to have an argument about the fate of humanity in the war against the Abyss on their planet. Marah wanted to leave with a few, Sa found that to be unfair and wanted to save everyone, Marah told her to basically get comfortable with only saving a few, but saving a few is better than to not do so and instead let everyone die and it reminded me a bit of the Project Stigma confrontation between Su and Kevin in the manga and ever since then Marah has kind of become an innofficial Kevin-variant in my mind So yeah, she is a Kaslana (to me)! :D

Despite her being a Kaslana (to me), I do tend to draw her with yellow eyes more often, but that is usually the case in my Star Traveler AU art, which is set after Part 1.5 and I simply wanted to both pay homage to her cat avatar and to show that what happened to her has also left its marks, despite her successfully rebuiling her body (in that AU)
