🤎A treat for myself as a metalhead/goth/alt girlie. I do not want kids but I would have Benny’s!🤎 (and Will’s but he’s already got Weekend at the Millers as a man character so now its Benny time) Morgana was actually one of my Alias’s as a teen.

Midsummer was finally here. Excitement filled the air as groups of people made their way from the lot into the sprawling park. Today was a big deal, and the town had been looking forward to it for months. Having kept their Pagan roots, the town celebrated Midsummer each year with a massive parade and then a day of solstice-related activities.

As Morgana and her family entered the park, she spotted a group of girls, around the age of 13 or so, playing Double Dutch. It put a smile on her face as memories of her childhood came rushing back.

“I think I can do that,” Benny commented as they passed the girls. He had the dog leash in one hand and carried their son, Leo on his other side.

“I used to be so good at that, now, I may only last a few seconds,” Morgana laughed at the thought, then kept in pace with her family. Looking down, she checked in on their daughter, Zarah, who was almost dragging her ahead. If anyone beat how excited Morgana was for today, it was her daughter, she was definitely a little witch in the making. ..

Miller tax! Omg. My heart 💜💜💜💜! Thank you. I want to live in that story, I want to be Jasmine or, say they open the relationship to a third, thats me 😂 I’ll date them both. This gif of Charlie gets me every time!

3. Ohhhh good one and so hard because I have soooo many! Hmm…I’m gonna cheat a bit and say David Lynch films cause there about 4 of them I watch religiously. Next, 200 Cigarettes (I watch yearly and as someone who used to party, though underage at first, in old school NYC and in that area, this film is so personal to me), and third my love, Young Frankenstein.

28. Yes for sure. I love collecting old astrology books. The writing is dated, but they can be so funny and mean. So far the oldest one I have dates to 1920s and has a note inside, plus all these highlighted parts about a Cancer/Virgo relationship. I have a pretty cool (dare I say) impressive crystal collection too.

Did I watch the movie yet? No. But that’s never stopped me before 🙂 this is being introduced as part of my June challenge.

Summary: A former romantic, Augusta no longer believes in love. Soon to celebrate her 40th birthday, she finds herself bored with her routine. Life is about to change, she just doesn’t know it yet.

The bell rang as the door opened. Augusta glanced up from what she was doing, “Hello how can I help you today?”

He was the 6th person through the door this morning, a morning that was going like any other. People in suits weren’t a rare occurrence, the shop got a good mix of normal folk and the suit and tie crowd, and he’d been the second of his kind to walk in today, but he was the first to take her breath away.

He's handsome. Tall, dark features, a great head of hair, just the right amount of facial hair, and that specific kind of nose she liked on a man. He was well dressed, in a tailored pair of slacks, nice shoes, and a button-down that was tucked in, with a nice dark brown belt. He moved with confidence and had a nice walk.

Augusta made her assessment quick, not wanting to seem like she was lingering, and looked him in the eye as he approached the counter. Upon entry, his expression was one of slight irritation, but that was gone now.

“Hey, good morning."

His eye contact was direct, steady, and almost too much to hold because he’s so damn good-looking. If she didn’t keep herself on track, she could get lost in those brown eyes. “Hi, so, new face. What brings you in today?”

His hint of a smile turned into a full one….

Okay, so….

1. Three things that shaped who I am: My mother, my granny, discovering metal and industrial music for the first time at 13

5. What made me start my blog? I was a silent user on this site for a very very veryyyyy long time. I wanted to face my shyness and fear around sharing my work - so saw this as a good first step. I abandoned my old blog and started this one.

6. Best /Worst part of this? Omitting ‘online creator’ cause i have a thing with that word. So… being someone who shares my writing and creativity online… best part, community which i miss… it used to be great and super supportive here. And it helped me get less shy, more confident. The worse? Keyboard warriors, racist, assholes who hide behind anon (this is why it is off and this makes me sad bc i had some really great anons too and miss hearing from them) and the overall lack of support/ hate/neglect /disrespect non white artist/writers/ creatives get.

16. If I could change one thing about myself? Hmm I dunno. I really wish I had an accent! Well I have a city one, but with so much Southern ancestry I am so jealous I don’t have my family’s accent since I didn’t grow up down there. I’d love a good ol Creole Louisiana accent. 😍

Ivar’s cries started to lessen, and Aslaug looked up slowly, still humming, and making eye contact with Séraphine who felt herself between two worlds.

“You’ll take good care of him, yes?” Lovingly, she glanced down at Ivar who was now asleep, “I overprotected him, I know…I only wanted to keep him safe.” Aslaug stood and made her way over to Séraphine. For several seconds, she only gazed at Séraphine, then slowly, she offered her hands, palm side up.

After some hesitation, Séraphine placed her hands in Aslaug's.

Auslaug started, “This place-"

Séraphine glanced behind her, seeing the old Viking home morph into the Oleg’s palace.
