Late Spring; a short wlw comic about finding love late in life and under some mysterious circumstances.

This comic was my entry for the CSP x Mangadraft contest about 'First love'! :)

I drew this comic because early on in my life, I thought there was something wrong with me. Being romantically interested in women as a young teenager was hard, because back then - and in a very rural area - there wasn't really a queer community. Everyone around me was straight and I thought there was something wrong with me and that I would be alone forever (which isn't the case, as I'm married now lol). But in the end, everything turned out just fine, as it did for Elsie and Hannah! :')

Your life is easier if you’re assigned pink at birth. Purple people might always have purple on but that’s because they scrapped scrounged and worked for their purple and they deserve to flaunt it. Pink people live in an oasis of pink and choose not to make it their thing but purple people starve and will make the most of what little they have.

My theory with the Saja boys hair is that it’s so big because they’re hiding their horns, now hear me out. There’s also a theory that they are zombies controlled by the demon rumi saved and I believe this because the zombies are newer (I base this off of seeing them in the photo form the doctors office) and that would make them less experienced and weaker. We can see they dont Have the mental strength to do anything off stage once not in view of people and look exhausted. I think that with them being new, now knowing enough yet about the powers or being too much for the demon to control, the hair (maybe wigs even) is to hide the horns and make it easier to disguise them altogether

I love my car very much and I talk about Jolene in a way that very clearly reflects that and I think it’d be funny to see a transformers reaction to seeing how I treat her. Like imagine just being a car guy and you look out your window to see an autobot trying to recruit them.

Plot idea. Transformers short where a transformer tries to recruit my car while I’m in her and I just roll with it for free “healthcare” to get her fixed up to brand new condition. “Yes I am transformer I’m very good at incognito and am always in character, my human-sona has a personality and everything.”

Orcs aren’t stupid, acronyms and contractions just aren’t part of their language structure.

For example hearing someone say “alcohol by volume can be calculated by dividing the proof of the alcohol by two. So 80 proof is 40% ABV” hearing ABV is like hearing a new word. Like when people hear you sing LMNOP and think it’s a letter.

It’s like hearing someone say “a stake is carved correctly when whittled carefully.” You might not know what whittled is or how that relates to carving wood. You might think it’s a quality of the wood or stating or something else spoken about earlier in the conversation. English has many complicated contractions and needless words. Like how we don’t use the word fortnight anymore. The Orcs language structure often varies wildly depending on region and those who travel far trade and hunt must have simplified the language to apply everywhere they go rather than just for forcing everyone to say their own interpretation. So fewer descriptive words. But that doesn’t make them understand any less. If anything it’s made them communicate better. And besides, their social norms are also different. With how familial oriented they are, actions literally speak louder than words. We only interpret them as warriors because they strive to protect everyone they deem as family, In every clan of their people. Humans are the ones that attacked first. Orcs simply defended themselves.

To them we are the barbarians speaking gibberish not understanding empathy and dating the earth leaving destruction.

The orcs apologized for the invasive plants they brought with them too by the way. They weren’t trying to plague us they saw we were hungry and took action to help. It’s not like any of us could have known it would take over. They’re even helping repair the damage.
