Your bird of prey grian art post. Something about the wings you did is so enchanting. I think you captured the volume and like. Thickness. Of wings really well, they look properly built onto a body instead of looking flat. You did great!!!

WAGHHH thank you so very much!!!! AGHH... that means a lot to me, I always really want to get that sense of depth for wings... theyre so hard for me, you know? I've always been fascinated by how difficult they are to get down. Grian's been such a fun character to practice wings with, hes such a creature :3c

Happy Last Scarland day! Here's my Rolling Down Mainstreet and Hotel Architecture work for @scarland-artbook🎈🎈

Hotel Drafts:

For the hotel, I thought about the hallways and the general opulence and ambiance when you walk in (chandeliers, check-in counter, tiling on the floors). I mapped out all of the rooms (e.g. the outdoor patio, the lounge, the café/deli, & Scott and Fwhip's decorated rooms).

A few inspirations I took were the following:

Sun & Thirteen Cantons in Soho

Great Central Pub at The Landmark London

Prince of Wales Hotel at Niagara-on-the-Lake

I also wanted to consider an elevator for access... And if I had more ideas outside of the hotel layoutway honestly I'd keep designing with laundry chutes and more hallways and a pool. I love hotels

thank you so much. yeah I have a yaoi type. while I think it's not exactly narrative foils to lovers I seriously love reading the adventurer's bible and every other sentence kui's pointing them out in juxtaposition to each other. it actually catches me off guard how much they keep referring back to laios in kabru's section of the book like what. whatttt. hi guys this is kabru. btw laios did something it would be soo interesting if they hung out. what then

its also a strong way to point out how much laios' deep intrinsic understanding of how monsters think and feel helps him navigate in a way kabru never could. Laios and Kabru's bedrooms even being foils
