"My, so many questions!" The man declared as he helped the kiddie sized version of Ryoken up and onto the hoverboard safely. "I'm afraid I'm not much for the technical workings... But essentially, yes. This board is virtual just like the world around us which is why it's able to correspond with the environment and act as a means for travel." He explained. Though, he supposed it was rather pointless since Ryoken himself, at least the adult one, was already well aware of this information. Ai tapped the heel of his boot on the floating device to bring it up higher. "Lastly, air travel can be quite bumpy... So you might want to hold on."

Hey guys! I just wanted to let you know that I’ll be going on a hiatus for a little while until my interest in these characters and series has returned. During the past couple of months my interests have been shifting and I’ve taken a liking to a new fandom that I really want to explore! I still really love the ygo series and it’s community and I’m not abandoning this account, just taking a little break. I’ll come back when I have better focus for writing Ai and Roboppi. I might drop in from time to time to check up on things but that’s about it for now. So until then I’ll see you guys around!

With the extent of what was at stake if they didn't duel, then yes. Ai would force Yuusaku to fight him if given the choice. He was hellbent on changing the future he doomed by any means necessary, even if he had to hurt the ones he cared for.
And considering that the consciousness of Playmaker's friends were on the line, he wasn't concerned about how much further he'd have to take this, this was enough to entice him to want to win this duel.
"We both know it won’t come to that." The Ignis declared with confidence, "You wouldn't leave Zaizen and the other's just hanging around in limb." His eyes met Yuusaku's. "You'll do whatever it takes, even if that means erasing me... After all, you made a promise to Blue Angel, didn't you?" He remarked, hoping to strike a nerve. “And don’t forget, there is still the issue of those copies. Would you really throw the duel and let them be released into the world? They may bring about worse trouble than myself.~” Whether or not Playmaker wanted too, he was locked into the situation without a choice to make for himself.

"That's right!" The A.I confirmed, "But how you got here is something only you can answer, I'm afraid." Which was still the million dollar question, and something Ai was sure he'd learn as this event continued to unfold. Looking at the boy more closely, he didn't appear to have Revolver's duel disk strapped to his wrist, so how he even got here was a complete mystery.
He didn't feel like a part of the environment, however, so the Dark Ignis was inclined to believe he was simply some sort of program?
He hopped onto the board with a smile, glancing back at the young boy. "Something like that. I'd compare it more to a hover board personally." Ai offered his hand to him once more to help him climb on to the D-board.

"Last I checked you didn't need convincing where the whole 'the Ignis are evil and will cause about the end of the world!~' was concerned." A click, "Don't tell me Revolver-sama, could it be I've actually grown on you?" Ai teased, knowing this would greatly insult the Knights leader.
"I almost feel touched, I must say. I didn't think you were capable... It must hurt even more to know I played you all so." The Ignis paused to run a hand through his slightly flipped black locks, "Lightning was right, Human's are pretty easy."
Ai continued, further condemning as a traitor, exactly as he wanted.

Ai waited a moment, watching the child before then slowly withdrew his hand when he saw the boy was hesitant to accept, his arm fell back at his side. He played along. "Here is LINK VRAINS. A cyber reality that let's duelist from all over the world challenge each other." The Ignis explained as he admired the surrounding area. "Very massive and very easy for someone who isn't familiar with it to become lost within it’s system." Not like this was something Revolver didn't already know.
“Though having one of these makes things a bit simpler."
The Ignis lightly tapped his heel on the ground beneath them and a few seconds later his D-board came soaring through the distance, stopping beside him.

"I suppose I did, didn't I?" He questioned softly, not even trying to deny it. "And you're right, I'm not sorry. Not about pressuring Playmaker, not about any of this."
Though to some extent that was a lie. Ai did feel guilty for the weight he placed on Yuusaku, he'd shouldered so many burdens for others already. But in Ai's heart he knew this was the right choice... Even if this temporarily caused pain to other's. They could eventually move past it, they could *live*.
This was the final obstacle that stood in the way of their happiness and Ai's final act of love towards humanity, towards though he'd come to care so much for.
The android smiled at the thought.
"So yes. I am happy."

"Because talking would have accomplished nothing expect waste time that you don't have." The Ignis suddenly snapped, eyes narrow at Playmaker from across the field. "If a solution existed I would have found it. I spent days living through alternate realities in that simulation and every thing was the exact same, down to the very last detail..."
If Yuusaku didn't die caught in the crossfire he would simply die in another way... Repeatedly without fail, Ai was forced to watch what he could not stop. How was he suppose to accept that fate? How could he? That wasn't the future any of them envisioned, especially the other Ignis.
He knew pressuring Yuusaku into ending him wasn't far to the other, he knew it was hurting him, he could see it. But even if he was pained, if this was to some degree selfish on his part, the android knew this had to be done. And deep down he was sure Yuusaku realized it too, even as he tried to reject it. Ai's hand balled into a fist. "I'm sorry, but you don't get to decide. Accepting is the only way out for you."

Ai could see the frustration on Soulburner's face, the pain, the question of *why* in his eyes... But he wouldn't receive. No, things were much better off ending this way. It was best for everyone just to hate him, to see him as the threat he truly could be then to waste time by trying to convince him other wise, to die...
Yuusaku especially didn't deserve such a fate. Out of everyone, he deserved the most, and at the very least is the only one deserving to know the truth.
"Pointless."
The Dark Ignis finally managed. "You're only temporarily delaying the inevitable. Playmaker has no choice but to face me if he wishes for everything to be returned." The Android narrowed his gaze. "There are no alternative outcomes."

“I did.” Ai confirmed. “But seeing as how I’m the only one around who can help you changes things.” It was nearly impossible to think that this child was suppose to be Revolver’s younger self... The differences between them were uncanny. It was certainly a far cry from the cold-hearted-Ignis-hating-adult he was so use too. Ai looked down at the child with a gentle gaze. “Well, I know where here is so finding the way out should prove quite easy.” He stated, slowly offering the younger his hand.

"Probably." Roboppi commented, merely shrugging off his question with a small smile. The possible fact not being one that concerned him, or A.I's in general.
"Lizard people?" He repeated slowly, laughing a bit at the idea he proposed. "That’s an even less likely point you’ll be able to prove." Jamie was really scrapping at the bottom of the barrel if he tried to argue with something like humanoid reptiles. It made the other male seem like a hopeless case. “Why are you so interested in all this nonsense, anyway?”

“What are you doing out this late?”
“This part of town isn’t a good place to be at this time of night.”
“Now what’s a pretty thing like you doing in a place like this?”
“You do realize what time it is, right?”
“Where are you going at this hour?”
“The sun isn’t rising anytime soon, you know.”
“Do you know where I am?”
“The city looks different at night.”
“This street is very dark…”
“Why don’t you come stand in the light?”
“Are you lost?”
“I got turned around in the dark…”
“This isn’t the time to go wandering around.”
“Only fools and trouble come out to these parts at this hour.”
“Looking for trouble, are we?”
“A little late to be shopping.”
“Just coming back from the bar?”
“Think any of the pubs are still going to be open?”
“Trouble lurks around every shadowed corner.”
“Woah! I didn’t see you there!”
“Where did you come from?”
“What are you doing here?”
“A bold move to show your face here in the shadows of night.”
“Go home.”
“It isn’t safe here at this time of night.”
“Youre being watched.”
“What are you doing still up?”
“Looking for something?”
“I like walking when the streets are empty.”
“It’s dangerous to walk at night alone.”
“I know where I’m going.”
“The trees are kind of spooky…”
“Did you hear that howl?”
“Was…was that an owl…?”
“This path is scary at night…”
“The woods is no place a __ after dusk.”
“Oh you poor soul, wandering lost in the forest under the new moon…”
“You can’t see the stars from here…”
“This is the witching hour.”
“Dark beasts lurk here. Be cautious.”
“Stay on the road!”
“Talking a midnight stroll along the beach?”
“The ocean is so mysterious at night…”
“What brings you to the pier at this hour?”
“What dangers lurk in these dark waters, I wonder.”
“You’re going to get yourself lost one of these days.”
