These are finally done! My version of the werewolf default eyes for you all. ^^

Deets:

Defaults Require the Werewolves Game Pack to work

Brand New Hand Painted Texture

Custom Emission Maps (subtle glow)

No Specular

For Toddler-Elder, All Genders

Should be tagged identically to EA eyes for genetics

I was going to make a couple different palettes, but in the end I felt a bit lazy so I just did swatches that match the original EA colours. I've included PSD files for anyone who'd like to make their own recolours, however! ^^ My standard T.O.U. applies.

Swatch Previews:

The little * denotes a swatch that has an emission map; aka. a subtle glow.

Here's an example of how the glow for those swatches looks in game:

Look, for example, I can type in “Sims 4 cheats” and I get plenty of helpful sites like this   https://sims-online.com/sims-4-game-info/sims-4-game-cheats-codes/ and https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/sims-4-cheats/. What does it coast me? Nothing. Content creators like @aharris00britney​, @quirkyintrovert.cc, @momtrait​ and @fiftymilehighclub​ make fantastic ombre accessories and recolors but what does their cc coast? once again, nothing. They make content out of creativity and their love for the game as well as the community.

However, these people? selling their overpriced cheap junk? report them to Etsy and avoid them at all costs.

P.S

To EA: Do something, say something. The more silent you are, the more complicit you are in turning your own community into a endstage capitalist hellhole.

Long time no see! It’s been a while since I last posted any custom content, but I’ve been working on this set since February and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Let me know if you have any issues with the items!

The necklace has some minor clipping issues on sims with large necks and/or wide shoulders - I couldn’t do anything to fix it, sorry!

Hello, I was wondering if you could make a tutorial on how to make your own Retuner tuning file. My mother and I tried and we cannot figure this out. There are a string of errors. So would appreciate if there was anyway of a tutorial. I'm sorry if that's such a big ask. Can you also send a screenshot of what the settings are supposed to look like in S3pe because this driving me insane. Sorry for bothering you if you cannot do these.

I'm not sure if you're asking about how to make a Retuner tuning file from scratch or if you want to convert your current Retuner settings from your game into a tuning file. As I don't know how to do the first one, I'm going to assume it's the latter one you're asking about.

So here's a very quick guide and the screenshots you asked for under the cut. :-)

1.If you don't have it already, download the NRaas_Retuner_Tuning_V2.zip file from the bottom of the main NRaas Retuner page and extract it someplace where you'll be able to find it later. The extracted file will be called NRaas_Retuner_Tuning.package

2. Load a game that contains the Retuner settings you wish to convert into a tuning file.

3. Click on: City Hall > NRaas > Retuner > Export Tuning. This will generate a ScriptError xml file in your "Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 3" folder.

4. Exit the game.

5. Find the above mentioned ScriptError xml file in your "Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 3" folder and open it with Notepad. As an example, this is what the beginning of my file looks like.

6. Select all the text and copy it then close Notepad. There's no need to save.

7. Open the NRaas_Retuner_Tuning.package file with S3PE and right-click the NRaas.Retuner.Tuning XML resource in the left-hand pane, then select Notepad.

8. In the Notepad window that opens, delete all the text that's already there, then right-click and select paste.

9. Click File then Save and close the Notepad window.

10. In the Commit changes? dialog box, click the Yes button.

11. In S3PE you should see the old xml resource crossed through and the new xml resource underneath. Now click File then Save.

The old crossed out xml resource will have disappeared and your file should look similar to this. Now exit S3PE.

12. Place the newly saved NRaas_Retuner_Tuning.package file in your Mods/Packages folder alongside the NRaas Retuner base mod package file.

I hope this helps but if you need more details, let me know. :-)

Early Access Creators - YOU CANNOT SIT THE FENCE THIS TIME. :|

Look, I love y'all. I know you don't want to participate in so-called "drama" because you think it's messy and shit. I get that, I do. But here's the deal. Cowbuild and her cronies are making the whole patreon method of dealing with the sims look bad, and that affects YOU guys too.

Because of these bad apples, there are some people questioning if patreon is safe. Especially because Anto is involved, and he USED TO BE EARLY ACCESS.

You guys need to join in on calling this out and saying "No. This is not okay. We do not accept it, and we do not want this to be part of our community." I and others have tried to explain that these bad apples don't spoil the whole bunch, but when y'all choose to be silent on the issue, you don't help your case. So now is the time to speak up. You don't have to make your own post even. Just REBLOGGING what's already been shared is enough.

Landgraab Self Storage Functional Garage Door

These garage doors aren't just for looks - they are fully functional doors with custom animations! They function just like most doors in the game, but with custom animations and sound effects! As your sim walks through them they will automatically open/close and also have all the typical locking options.

But it gets even better - these doors are also storage so your sims can store items directly in the door's inventory! Consumable items that are stored in the door will decay slower than in the world.

These are base game compatible, but if you have City Living there are 20 additional swatches. The base game versions come in plain colors including some "worn" looking styles that would look good for a R2R challenge. The download includes both versions, but the CL ones will only be visible if you have that pack installed.

OMG!! Just found this amazing challenge...gonna try this! I am gonna be using JamesTurnerYT's disable packs (https://jamesturner.yt/disablepacks) to disable packs and turn them back on when I get to a new part of the challenge!! This just sounded like a fun challenge to try. I was also looking at @rheallsim 's LePacy and well here I am... wish me luck (I've always wanted to play the game in a different way and the NSB challenge was getting a little stale.

Sims 4 LEPacy (v.2) (UPDATED for Cottage Living!)

A challenge inspired by @simpishly‘s sims 3 LEPacy, the Sims 4 LEPacy is a way to explore The Sims 4 GP’s and EP’s in a way you might not have before. I will update it as new packs come out.

The number/order of generations is only a suggestion. If you feel you have explored everything in pack, feel free to skip that generation. You can also play in any order.

Some generations have more freedom than others, such as Spa Day. If an aspiration or career is not specified, you can choose anything, though I encourage doing something you haven’t played much of before.

To give yourself more of a challenge, turn off the packs you aren’t playing with. Help to do this is at jamesturner.yt

Stuff pack release order will be placed between generations if you want to activate them as released.

Feel free to adapt and change the challenge as your creativity dictates! I’ve always seen challenge rules more as guidelines than actual rules, and this is no different. 

Due to the length of the challenge you will likely have to change to new saves a few times. Bear that in mind when switching generations/moving to new towns. (Edit 4 August 2021: I also highly recommend combining generations as you see fit. For instance, when I get to Seasons, I will also be playing the Cottage Living generation at the same time)
