Took sesame the seahorse to the beach to take photos, it also gives him more meaning as the rubbish that is stuffed inside would have either come from the beach or ended up in the ocean damaging sealife, like seahorses.

Attaching the aluminium hoops to the steel rod frame using florist wire to tie it with a pair of plyers. The aluminium hoops really making the seahorse become 3d, its all coming together!

Took a trip to Bristol to look at an installation in `the box` in the building `we the curious` it was really interesting as you could empathise towards sealife and the way they feel and the man made objects they come across.

A quick visit to Bristol to visit spike island, was so interesting to see where and how artists work and really have me a better understanding of art and who they are

Spent half term litterpicking, collecting plastic rubbish, not only helping the environment but also helping towards my seahorse sculpture! It was good to see a sign to get more people to do a 2 minute beach clean!

My workspace last week. My human sized drawing of a seahorse which I will be making out of wire for my final major project. I will finish it with found objects and rubbish from litter picks and trips to the beach.

One of my paintings for my art alevel, using oil paints, looking at movement. I used my hands to paint the green background, it adds a lovely texture and feel to the painting.

Went on a local litter pick in street with college, we managed to fill 10 bin liners of rubbish. I then cleaned the pieces of rubbish for my sculpture.

Took a trip to Bristol Aquarium for inspiration for my Final Major Project, I was mostly interested by the seahorses and their unique shape, and how they move through the water.
