Undertale NPC/Shopkeeper Dialog Work Skin

you can add this to the dialog box skin if ya want.

Cross-compatible between rich text and HTML once you get it set up! (ex: the table will be small in rich text mode but you can actually resize it in the rich text mode and it won't affect the sizing of the dialogue box in the actual work!)

Limit it to like 1-5 lines of npc dialogue or the edge cases start to appear...since we've never seen undertale dialogue go that many lines in on one dialogue box I'll consider that undefined behavior i.e. won't be handling that edge case.

and maaaaybe i'll add a way to put the NPC background above the dialogue if I get bored again.

Nonhuman expressions of affection are great. Purring. Exposing weak points as a show of trust. Head bonks. Preening and chewing. Nuzzling. Biting. Intertwining tails. Feeding each other. Little chuffs, chatters, beeps and squeaks. Fluffing up of feathers, fur or other things. Dancing to impress. Cleaning their fur, scales, feathers or skin. Sharing body heat. Ears pointing toward those you care about to show your full attention is on them. Slow blinking.

my favorite thing about ink desktop buddy is that he’s been getting new people into ukagaka and is acting as like… a sortof introduction to all the neat things they can be??

he was honestly mostly meant for my silly little circle of friends and i to enjoy but i love how much people are enjoying him!!

ukagaka in general are just. so neat cause they can be anything you want them to be!! you could make your oc!! you could make your favorite character!! whatever you want, if you invest the time and effort and heart into it……

i’ve been brainrotting about these silly desktop buddies for years and years now and i’m glad ink is introducing people to them again

I think one big reason why we don't consider the stars as important as before (not even pop-astrology anymore cares about the stars or the sky on itself, just the signs deprived of context) is because of light pollution.

For most of human history the sky looked between 1-3, 4 at most. And then all of a sudden with electrification it was gone (I'm lucky if I get 6 in my small city). The first time I saw the Milky Way fully as a kid was a spiritual experience, I was almost scared on how BRIGHT it was, it felt like someone was looking back at me. You don't get that at all with modern light pollution.

When most people talk about stargazing nowadays they think about watching about a couple of bright dots. The stars are really, really not like that. The unpolluted night sky is a festival of fireworks. There is nothing like it.
