Kimi to Idol Character Theory

The reason why Meroron tries so hard to be number one to Purirun is because she feels her place Purirun’s heart is temporary and that she has to fight to keep that place or Purirun (aka her first and only friend) will forget about and leave her. Which means Meroron will be alone in the world like she was before, but it’s worse because her homeland is a wasteland. She doesn’t hate the girls as many think. She’s envious of the charm and the ability they (mainly Uta) have to make Purirun happy. After all, Uta, without her powers, was able to free Purirun and revive her memories. She was able to return Purirun’s Kirakirala, and yet Meroron couldn’t despite her best efforts to make Purirun happy. To her, that means she’s obsolete and that she might not matter to Purirun as she has the girls. We even see her ponder if she really might not be needed between her and the girls. She doesn’t recognize that not only does Purirun unconditionally cares about her, but the Uta, Nana, and Kokoro care about her too. Her arc is going to be learning that she’s unconditionally loved and she doesn’t have to fight to earn the affections of people who already care about her. She can be happy with Purirun and the girls. She just can’t see it yet

And it also might have something to do with whatever she gave up when becoming a Precure

Rena Rouge and Carapace

Designing these two was both tricky and fun. I did my best to mix their personalities and main elements of their miraculous animal.

As for their powers:

Rena Rouge’s illusions work more like how Gus’s did in Owl House and are much more sturdy over time and can even make her and others around her invisible to the enemy

Carapace’s shield is strong and can even make an entire barrier around him and his friends. Makes traveling easier. Just make a barrier circle and have Ladybug fly them all to their destination. Also his shield is perfect for sledding

Miraculous Doodles!

I included a lot of the things in my version of Miraculous here

1. Ladybug can fly. She has the ability to grow wings for if the situation sees fit and flies her and Cat Noir around the city, chasing after a villain or making a necessary get away

2. How their powers work during purification. When Ladybug does it, it recreates things out of what’s there or creates something out of the chaos. For example, she can turn a giant teddy bear made during an akuma fight into multiple teddies. She’s the purifier for it things need repairing. Meanwhile, Cat Noir destroys it completely, also can erase things like memories (like in season 6). He can destroy the left over chaos of a villain and while he refrains from it, he’s willing to use it to keep their identities hidden. He’s the purifier when there’s a clean up. Though he often has to grab the akuma with his hands to purify. They do it together when repairs and clean up are needed

Skipping practicing but with a mini crossover: Leon is escaping practice and sees Mondo, who’s escaping from Taka to avoid being dragged into a studying session and they both come together to avoid Taka and Nekomaru who are already working together to capture the two

What shenanigans will go down when two goods try to escape their best friend and coach?

Mondo and Leon both were trying to avoid doing things they didn’t want to: baseball and studying. And since they had similar goals, they might as well work together.

Unfortunately for them, when Nekomaru and Taka crossed paths while looking, they figured that was what would happen. So they began looking together, too- but for the opposite person.

After all, Mondo wasn’t used to Nekomaru’s many strategies that he’d used in the past, and Leon still couldn’t figure out how to escape Taka’s lectures. It was perfect.

That way, even if they were both found by only one person, one of them would be immediately trapped. The other could try going for “help,” but it would never work.

It worked pretty well for Nekomaru and Taka. With Leon trapped by Taka’s lectures, and Taka’s focus on Leon, Mondo tried running, only to be caught by Nekomaru. In the end, they both had to attend what they were dreading.

Skipping Practice: Leon sneaks off to practice play Mario Party (Jamboree to be specific) and as usual, Nekomaru follows after him. Before he could be dragged by, Leon says he’ll only go willingly if Nekomaru wins or gets a higher placement than him. And poor Chiaki and Chihiro who just wanted to play are forced to take part.

Any ideas/hcs of how this’ll go?

It wasn’t the first time Leon had left practice to play a video game, and Nekomaru was very certain that it wouldn’t be the last. But he could at least try to get him back.

Chihiro and Chiaki were in there, too, kind of aware that Leon was skipping something that he shouldn’t. They were both used to hearing the two sides of it.

Leon challenged Nekomaru the instant Nekomaru found him, saying that he’d only go to practice if Nekomaru could beat him in Jamboree in some way. Who was Nekomaru to turn that down?

Chiaki and Chihiro were kind of forced into it as another two players, but they were thinking of just playing and chatting anyway, so it wasn’t too big of a deal outside of how competitive the other two were.

Against all odds, Nekomaru did beat Leon- the two of them coming in third and fourth, respectively. Chiaki won, with Chihiro in a close second, so Leon had to go to practice after all.

Scarecrow already gives off dad vibes with how he takes care of Dorothy and Ozma in the books. So I figured I’d just have him be Ozma’s dad and have my rendition of the Marvelous Land of Oz build up to him adopting her. Ozma herself is just happy to have a loving dad
