CANON SCRIPT OF A CUT SCENE
Tumblr media
how did we forget about this
This is Dean dreaming. Its his subconscious mind. He wanted Cas to be his admirer.
He canonically had this dream.
Somebody please unravel this into coherent words, thanks.
Excuse me while I go feral over this.

In their last episode, no show would ever:
• give their main character the stupidest death ever
• ignore a character that has been there for 12 years
• have only one fan favorite be there for the last ep
• play two different versions of the same song back to back
• completely ignore a storyline that was introduced 2 episodes before but not completed
• destroy years of development for a character
• basically go against what the whole show is about
I bet the other show runners are laughing so hard right now

I don't even care how Dean died I'm pissed about the fact that he died in the first place.
He had suicidal tendencies and showed signs of depression in only the first 5 minutes of the last episode.
And adopting a dog is not a sign of going well, is more of like "I need to take care of someone".
Dean room is a mess but he was never like that. Yes, the guy could spend weeks without a shower but his place? impeccable. He always made his bed and had a clean space.
He was afraid of dying even at that moment and we can see him saying that. That was his destiny? dying with a gun in his hand? dying hunting. He never got to see the beach.
He was in a bad shape since season 12. He tried to kill himself because he lost so much and not even having his brother was helping.
There was so much that wasn't addressed in the las episode that makes me feel so hollow. I'm sad about this. He deserved so much better.

Anyway I’m losing my shit today because in his panel Jensen confirmed that it wasn’t that Dean didn’t love Cas back, it was that he literally thought that angels were physically incapable of feeling that way about someone romantically
So like not only did Cas think that Dean was the one thing he wanted that he couldn’t have, Dean also felt that way about Cas
That makes the confession so much sadder what the FUCK
LIKE CAS IS DYING HAPPY THAT HE GOT TO TELL DEAN HOW HE REALLY FEELS
BUT DEAN!!! DEAN HAS NEVER BEEN IN MORE PAIN BECAUSE HE SUDDENLY REALIZES HOW MUCH TIME HE WASTED TELLING HIMSELF HE COULDNT HAVE CAS WHEN REALLY HE COULD

Guys maybe we're all wrong and the confession scene was actually when Dean realized he was in love with Cas too. Like we know he's been in love with Cas but maybe this is the first time he REALIZED it and his feelings hit him like a truck. Like maybe that was why he spent the whole time looking like he was having an internal crisis. Because there were so many faces he made in that scene that just looked like the ".....oH....." moment they talk about in fanfiction. And that would also explain why he wouldn't be ready to say it back. Because yknow......he just found out himself he obviously ain't going to be ready to profess his love.
Just something for you to think about.

I haven't felt so anxious if my ship will sail last minute in the last episode since the end of Broadchurch. And that was a *huge* disappointment last time (I mean I still loved it but I held the same hope we will get a mention that it's canon even if there is no confession/kiss.)
I am crossing my fingers and wishing hard it won't be the same. I don't need much. Just a little something.

In my mind he is currently locked in a room somewhere with no phone or internet access in a desperate attempt to keep him from screaming something silly like *stay strong fans, you will be vindicated, destiel forever*
On the wall there is a big clock counting down the hours until the finale.
Misha is kind of sus in the spn universe currently and should be located and voted in the universe back.

Same here.
To be honest, it's been the highlight of the past freaking month for me. Actually if we get real, make that past year *at least*. >>
Honestly so much of my happiness right now hangs in the balance of canon Destiel

Rewatching 15x18 and realizing you can actually hear Dean in the last scene *actually* sobbing. I have no idea how I didnt realise that on the first watch. Not just gripping his head in despair but
*S O B B I N G*
That's all. As you were.
