Is it meaningful to just say ‘STOP THE WAR’?

The people who visit this blog might thought ‘Yes, of cource it has meanings. I’m sure I can persuade this guy.’ But, don’t worry, I have the same thought with you. It just came up in my mind that how it is meaningful to call for absolute peace to the world. Don’t you have that kind of thoguht? What will you do if you have words with a just war theorist? I will write this blog to make me and such other people have confidence to our actions.

These days, more and more citizens in many countries have started to call for stop the war in Ukraine and people in Japan where I from are ones of those. It was shocking for me that one sovereign state really invade another sovereign country. I didn’t expected it would happen in my life and before this war had happened, wars were somebody elese’s business to some extent. However, this war happened and I began to think this is not even only my business but also our human’s business. What changed my mind the most was videos from TV news which reported the situation of public people in Ukrain. Mass of people are made to escape from their home town and hide theirselves underground because of the attack from militally. Little kids have eyes like they cannot understand this situation, but they must understand that they need to escape in order to save their lives. A boy in one of the videos I saw put up with crying and said ‘I left my father in Ukrain. I don’t know waht will happen from now, but I know he will fight as a souldier.’

I could not help to call for peace to the world. I thought I have no choice but to do this to make better situation. However, one day, when I saw news that reported Russian people were doing demo in Russia and fianlly they were arrested, I suspected that whether calling for peace has something impact to change the world. Then suddenly, I came not to have confidante what I was doing. I wanted some guarantees that say ‘Your activities are essencial for the world!’ At the same time, I thought I do not want to be just a person call for justice or world peace. I want to be a kind of strong person ( still I‘m not sure whether it is the reight world to express my thoughts).

I had talk about this with world-history teacher and ethics teacher in my school. I said I did not want to be just a person to say justice or world-peace. They gave me some comments on my opinion and the ethics teacher gave an interesting answer. He said I should be a just person to say such things, it is a lot better than to keep quite. The important thing is just to think that wars are absolutely injustice. Nothing is better than peace. If we can avoid wars from starting, we should do everything that we can do. Calling for peace has meanings in terms of express our thoughts. It is the right things that democratic governments to reflect such peoples opinions to their politics, but if it didn’t work, people who saw your actions are made to think about war at least for a few minuets. If many people hate wars even with no reasons, wars will not happend.

Now, I have confidence to call for absolute peace. It is important for each person to have mind that they won’t justify wars for any reasons. I want to say all wars must be avoided. There is no right wars in the world. It is public people who are innjured in wars. Of cource, each souldier as well as citizens have their own family and lives, which are so precious that nobody can rub of them. How dare you can admit such cruel action that distoroy human basic rights. This is the worls-history teacher said. If a country seriously try to protect each people‘s life, which a soverign government’s responsibility, the country will not send their people,even one person, to battlefields. If we really think about each other, I mean not superficially, from our hurts, we cannot fight each other. We must manage to solve problems by negotiating.

Again, we are not allowed to admit any wars or leave any successful experiences with force.
