Plot # 38: Notes on a Coffee Cup

AU idea: Muse A is pregnant unexpectedly and is left to fend for herself after her religious family turns her back on her. Moving into an apartment, Muse A prepares to go about raising her child alone. Muse B lives in the apartment across the hall from her and after a few months of casual small talk in passing, Muse B comes home to find a distraught Muse A, locked out of her apartment and defeated. Muse B takes a seat in the doorway across from her and they talk for what seems like hours. After that, Muse B is determined to get to know the inticing girl and asks her out on a date. And another. And another. Over time, Muse A begins to show and is forced to reveal her pregnancy to Muse B.

Nathan chuckled again, biting back a smile. "Even if I am annoying, my accent would win you over." He said, emphasizing his British accent on the last few words. "At least somebody likes them, as I find them unpleasant." Bringing his other hand over he booped her nose back, reaching over he played with a strand of loose blonde hair. "I don't see why you love my moles though, I guess it's the equivlent of me loving your blonde hair."

"Oh, it's you."

Gloria turns around to glare at Nathan, “Holy shit, dude, what?!” she groans, picking up a stray ball of paper and throwing it back at the male, twice as hard and hitting him in the shoulder.

Eileen’s smile is one you see gradually, being the introverted writer she is. Never really an open heart, she only cracks a small grin to someone she doesn’t know. If you get her to laugh or talk to her for hours though, she accommodates a beautiful wide smile with perfect teeth that could brighten any day.

Nathan’s smile on the other hand is more of a prominent, sly smirk that you’ll probably never forget. Even if a total stranger approaches him, a sure smile will appear as the Brit is very social. When not being social, he has a very heartwarming and even yet charming smile when he truly cares about something.

Nathan chuckled, his grin widening into a general smile. "Maybe, but I was being honest about your beautiful face." Placing his elbow on his desk, he held his chin up and batted his eyes. "Do you really think I'm lovely?" He asked sarcastically.

Nathan grimaced a little as the paper ball came in contact with him but he let out a soft laugh. “Just wanted to see that beautiful face.” He replied, a sly grin crossing his lips. He was actually just bored and wanted to talk to someone and Gloria was the closest person to him.

Nathan grinned, another soft chuckle leaving him. "I like it, it just leaves a mystery of opposites..." Oh wow, Nathan was starting to sound like his mother now."

"You just saved my ass, I have every right to thank you." He says, matter-of-factually and crosses his arms over his chest. "Hmm, can I take you out for coffee or something to so you my gratitude?"

Rain was hoping her cheeks weren’t red right then. “Well thanks. Although the irony part is more a curse.” She adds as a joke.

"It’s nice to meet you too Nathan." She says gladly taking his hand and giving it a small shake. "You don’t need to thank me though, really."
