When Rio's mutation began it was painful and bloody, as her fingernails fell out and her skin blistered off. Tristan was there to help heal her, and comfort her when it all grew back wrong. He's also currently MIA and presumed dead :)))

You know what's fun to draw? Romance 👀 Here's a page for Rio and Henrik. Might do a page for all her boys, who knows. Fun fact: their song is Shrike by Hozier. Less fun fact: Henrik is MIA and presumed dead in the present timeline :))) but I know what happened to him

Rio does eventually settle in with the crew and get more comfortable. Through her relationships with them she's developing maturity and confidence in herself. I love doodling romance, and it was cool to draw her at various points in the expedition~

Now for the guys who aren't being That Way with Rio lol. Kenny and Rio sort of share leadership roles for the expedition, and you may recognize her bestie Sicko from an older piece I did last year. Carlo is gay and won't be doing any of that nonsense, which she was extremely grateful for.

We're Moving! ✨

In mid-May we'll be able to start moving our stuff into our new place, and from now until the end of April I'll be offering some special headshots for you folks!

Have you got a ttrpg character you need a face for? Need a new icon for your vampire rp blog? Want to put one of your favorite aliens in a custom Mando helmet? This could be your moment! These projects are designed to be quick and gorgeous, and not only will your contribution go directly into moving expenses, but you'll also be helping me practice a few new coloring strats I need to hone.

I plan for each piece will be capped at $50. We're looking at a "collarbones up" shot that will be fully colored! Characters need not be human. I can do aliens, monsters, and furries! More complex character designs MIGHT incur an additional charge, but I intend for these projects to be as flexible as possible in the time frame given.

Availability will remain open until May 1st unless otherwise stated!

When Rio was a bit younger, she went on a 13 man expedition deep in the Dungeon to do some real adventuring work for several years. She was the only woman in the entire group, and she kinda underestimated the amount of attention that would get her 😅 That's one way to get over your toxic ex-girlfriend.
