Student Choice
This image is actually comprised of three different photos I took of flames. I changed the position and opacity of the two foreground images so that all three photos could be seen at the same time. I then changed the color balance and hue/saturation of each image before combining all the images and turning up the brightness.

Exquisite Corpse
This image is made of many others. The eyes, body, dog face, background, mustache, and bowler hat are all different images and together they create one image that does not quite look right but it all together interesting and intriguing.
Each image is my own except for the bowler hat which I got from

Photo Process
I started with a picture of the beach that I took at Tybee Island, Georgia.
The colors are vastly different from where they started. The finished product has a trippie, hippie feel to it, but the detail, while distorted, remains.
I made the following adjustments:
Changed Levels on Sky and ocean separately; Changed the hue and saturation of ocean; Changed hue and saturation of sky; Changed the exposure of the image as a whole; Changed the color balance to make the colors pop more; Increased the brightness and contrast of whole image; Posturized a duplicate layer than set the opacity to 10% and used a āDivideā blending setting; Created a new duplicate layer and inverted the color and set the blending setting to ācolorā; Changed the levels as a whole; Added a sepia color filter at a low density; Adjusted the hdr toning; Duplicate layer, used the exclusion blend setting; Created a cool tye dye look; Adjusted vibrance and saturation to make colors pop; Flattened image; Adjusted Levels; Adjusted brightness.

Texture:
This is an up close image of my army patrol cap. This close you can see many textures that, upon first inspection, you normally wouldnāt. The plastic on the name tape, the stitching, the velcro (looking almost hair-like) and even the cloth material of the cover can be seen in heightened detail at 1200dpi.

Representing Myself
This is an image I created that, all together, represents me. I have a woman meditating that represents my pursuit to relieve stress and find peace in my life. Along her spine she has the 7 Chakras. Together these chakras represent harmony and balance. Each symbol in the chakras represents a part of my life that balances me; (Top to bottom) The triple moon Godess (who supports me spiritually), a book (which allows me to gain knowledge), movies (which allow me to escape), my love (who brings me joy each and every day, reminding me that compassion and love is still alive in this world), Disney (which taught me from a young age that I could achieve anything), video games (which taught me about different people and worlds and introduced me to so many people) , and my mother (who keeps me grounded and has been my best friend and my support for the past 23 years.)

Repetition and Symmetry:
I created this image out of the banner in a $20 bill. I then repeated the image many times over to create symmetrical border and downsized the image to 75% of the former image to create a tunneling effect. Then, I changed each subsequent image to reflect a different color on the hue scale and then added a bevel and shadow, among other tweaking in Photoshop.
